difference is that he meguiars is a alcalic or whatever its called in english and that duragloss is petrochemical. they are sold to do the same thing but in reality they do different things. same with car degreaser, most of them are actually not a degreaser at all. if its not petrochemical it cant remove oil, and oily residue.
mr moody, did the cleaner leave the aluminum white looking? when u get ready for a shine on aluminum bombs away is the easiest cleaner ever for aluminum, found it at a motorcycle dealer trade show it is amazing, and easy. Chris forrest
get some aluminum brightener with hydrochloric acid in it. it will take that stuff off faster than you can process it. i used to work at a truck wash and did it 100's of times a day
that a boy brotha!!! listen I've been detailing for a while now and have tried many products and the only two I use is the Napa brand Alumi Brightner and the Dura Gloss aluminum cleaner great stuff I use them for water spot removal on the vehicles and boats I do
in my Lincolnton were I live in get it at Eddie's Auto Parts and the Napa has a few of their products but your best bet is to order it from autogeek.com. they carry the full line of duragloss products.
nothing i have tried has worked so i have been looking for this since i saw the video and i can't find it anywhere any parts store GRRRR . my boat is looking like a zebra right now after using eagle 1 mag and wheel cleaner. thanks looks i i will be getting it off amazon.
Mag cleaners all contain hydrogen peroxyde. It's ok to use them on mags but don't use them on thin aluminium boats as the paint is too thin. Mag cleaner also doean't work on paint.
Use mothers mag and chrome polish with a car buffer.. no water needed.. I’ve used it on all my aluminum boats.. It will shine like new. A boat that size would only take about an hour to do.
William Moody I recently purchased a polar kraft 1780 and was gonna pressure wash it. The decals seem kinda thick I wouldn't think it would bother them. Decals are kinda cracked and faded though.
Purple Power Aluminum Brightner works great.
Thanks for the info.
This is an awesome tip and demo, gonna go get a bottle tomorrow. Thanks for posting!

Take your meguiars, start at the bottom, go up vertical see what happens
I've tryed it all different ways it just wouldnt clean for me.
I used meguiers today it’s garbage.
Just wondering if the product that you recommended will effect the paint on the boat?
I'm not sure. I have decals on my boat not paint and so far there still on.
Hot rims does work just not on na cleaned aluminum!!!

What process do you use ? Do use a buffer or do you do it by hand?
it's decals and so far nothing.
Why not just pressure wash it?
It would take the decals off.

I didn't want to take the chance of them coming off. It's your choice.
Alumabrite thank me later
