Great question, you don't have to rent a space if you're okay with using your home address. However, you can NOT use a PO Box.

Yes I do, I will have the application submitted in 30 days or less. It typically takes anywhere from 15 to 60 days for them to process your application.

So if a vendor is registered in SAM.gov with Socio-Economic Type listed as Women-Owned Business, that just means they are self identifying themselves that way, correct? In other words, in order to determine if they have been vetted and certified thru a 3rd party agency I would need to search in outside of SAM.gov? Thank you!

Hi, yes that is absolutely correct. You may be notified of opportunities here and there based on being registered in sam.gov but it is not synonymous to becoming WBE certified where you are actively seeking and receiving contracts to be a subcontractor on or bid on directly.
