    Idk how legendary qbs keep falling out of the sky to the packers but to these kids today dissing Favre you clearly never watched him. That dude was a gunslinger in every sense of the word. You could point out the picks while ignoring the fact that he had the completion, touchdown, and consecutive starts record. Case and point if you throw more than anyone else before you you’ll own every record. Rodgers is the best of today’s era but I’m sick of people trashing Brett like he was a scrub because Stephen a said so...... as far as I’m concerned Aaron hasn’t broken Brett’s records yet. Then talk.

    • @bar0nv0nstrubel57
      @bar0nv0nstrubel57 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well he's got to play a lot longer for that to even be a thought of happening. Rodgers did lose 3 years sitting behind Favre, and is more prone to multiple-game ending injuries. He probably won't ever break his yards record and definitely won't break the starts won but TD passes is very much possible for him.

    • @goondallbronco3362
      @goondallbronco3362 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      TheDCGuitar13 Has Brett ever been a comeback player or has thrown 3 HAIL MARY over 3 different teams not to mention can scramble outta the pocket & briefly takes his time till he finds go to guys. Even though for 8 months straight the team came from back to back championships, but as some say #12 always bailed the team outta troubles.

    • @richard69287
      @richard69287 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I admire Brett Favre’s greatness, but Aaron Rodger is on a cloud of his own. In the end, statistics don’t prove wether you’re better than someone else. Vinny Testaverde has more passing yards than Aaron Rodgers, so you tell me who you’re taking. It’s quite obvious anyone would take Rodgers. Not to mention the fact that Rodgers sat behind Favre for 3 years and Favre also played for what seemed to have been a century. If you’re a huge statistical nut, then compare something that actually shows how great someone is without having to play a long time, which is passer rating. Favre finished his career with a 86.0 pr, meanwhile Rodgers currently holds an NFL record 103.8 pr. In the end, I believe Rodgers will go down as the greater quarterback who just didn’t have a good supporting cast, which is why he’s only won one Super Bowl.

    • @tonyande
      @tonyande 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The NFL rules have changed drastically from Farve's era to Rodger's ere to enhance the passing game and protect QBs & receivers and collective stats prove this too. Much easier to throw a 350 yard game know than 10 years ago!

    • @anthonymachingo4643
      @anthonymachingo4643 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@goondallbronco3362 Brett didnt need to be a comeback player, he had the arm to throw hail Mary's, and he definitely scrambled. Aaron is more talented and accurate and athletic in every part except strength. But to say comeback player makes a difference, since one is the toughest guy to ever touch a football field, I'd say the second is more impressive. Also Favre played backyard football. He didn't know what the words throw away meant. He ran for anything if it meant yardage, or he flipped it as hard as he could.
      Anyways Rodgers is better, but just make points before you say something.

    As a fan of Favre be wary, live by the gun die by the gun. Vikings fans found out first hand what it's like. Then again he delivered exhilarating throws and drives down the field like the best of them. You take the good with the bad and he got Green Bay a title and long time nfc north domination.

      It’s unfortunate though both only got one ring despite all those great years.
      Were they both always great? No, but it was more on the organization not giving them the weapons they needed
