Correction lang po, ang 'B' sa PRNDB ay 'Brake' na usually ginagamit sa downhill or engine braking. Ang tinutukoy po ninyo na battery only ay ang pindutan sa bandang itaas ng shifter na may nakalagay na 'EV Mode'
Thoughts ko po sa new Corolla Hybrid:
- Yung infotainment system mukhang generic. Nakukulangan ako sa info at entertainment. Gusto ko yung mga info about sa hybrid system sa dash maaaccess ko din sa center stack. Wala man lang Android Auto or Apple CarPlay siguro to keep the costs down? Pero at that price point and top-of-the-line sya, I expect more pero syempre Toyota dito sa Pinas, they skimped out on that feature.
- Interior plastics. Looks cheap AF, again at that price point, I expect contrasting leather accents sa door cards and dashboard kahit fake leather or leather-looking sige, magmukhang mahal man lang at least. Also, I don't think na real stitch yung nakalagay malapit sa AC controls. Yung seats mukhang leatherette which is ok lang sa akin. Di man lang nabanggit kung ilang cupholders meron sa kotse, yung hitsura ng glove box, yung air vents sa likod, at yung pockets ng front seats na nakalagay sa likod.
- AC controls ay single zone lang. I expect dual zone pero baka mahal na din kung meron pero c'mon, totl variant na sya.
- Na-feature po sana yung trunk. Some of us have no idea what it looks like tsaka kung naka full-size, donut or tire sealant lang ang nakalagay.
Pasensya na po kung ang dami kong kuda, dala lang ng quarantine, dami kong time eh lol! Don't mind me, I'm just nitpicking.
sayang nga po kuya eh naging cheap na ng dumating dito sa pinas. Sa ibang bansa ang top of the line neto daming specs, pati ang infotainment neto daming buttons, pero dito naging malaking bezels nlang. 😔
@@robertcesarsartorio4727 True. Napakalaking eyesore nung infotainment nasa gitna pa naman. On the positive side, papalitan ko na lang ng Pioneer head unit na may Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
Given that it’s a hybrid for sure tire repair kit lang kasama and mas maliit ang trunk vs existing namin na 2016 altis v given the space required by the traction battery pero for comfort, NVH, and to experience the hybrid system for the first time we’re seriously considering this.
For that price the infotainment system talaga is lackluster pero it’s a good price narin for a hybrid car-i think.
Just ordered this car in red. Really hope I made the right color choice! Haven't seen it in person yet.

and the most important thing...ung range...how many kilometer ung range nya considering 42 liters fuel tank capacity (d rin nbanggit sa review)..plus ung electric engine....gano kalayo pa tatakbuhin bago ma drain ang battery...so in total po ilang kilometro ang range in one full tank and one full charge?
Our 2016 Altis V is bound for “disposal” narin next year, pinag iisipan talaga namin if mag t-trade-in kami for this one.
Not necessarily interested in the ROI given na mag 4 years na altis namin pero 18,000 palang mileage HAHAHA pero more on comfort and yung overall benefits ng hybrid drivetrain.
It’s a real bummer that it doesn’t include maski Apple CarPlay manlang...
The cross hybrid is a better choice
need more info about hybrid cars....,, compare maintenance cost ,,, im wondering because fuel consumption is only 12kpl in the city and 15 highway ,,, it should be more than that!,,, does cost ratio make sense to get a hybrid car?
Kaya wala sya tachometer dahil nang kanyang cvt transmision, unlike ng regular automatic na transmision may gearing sila. Ang cvt kasi wala sila gear.
Hopefully maayos ang cvt transmision nito, unlike sa nissan altime na before ng warranty or exact na nasisira sya.
Maganda sana kung maka follow up review, yung may 130k km na na ibyahe. Mahirap kc yung 1st impresion lang sa mga bago tech

Tinipid na naman ang features walang Apple Carplay at Android Auto. Magkakaroon na din ng Hybrid ang 2021 Hyundai Elantra. Baka magkaroon na din ng Vios Hybrid dahil lumabas na ang 2020 Yaris Hybrid na 1.5 engine 3 cylinder sa Europe.

#1 pa din toyota, kilala na ng Pinoy yan sa reliability. Yung ibang brand paramihan ng features kasi dun lang sila makakanakaw ng benta. Pero kahit sinong experienced na mekaniko tanungin mo, Toyota pa din. Mekaniko ko nga, may sariling shop, 26 years mechanic ng Mitsubishi, pero fortuner at altis sasakyan 🤣

Tanong lang po bat na wala yung blind spot monitor nya tapos ang 360 camera at yung head up display kase sa Thailand meron sya kaseng ganitong mga feature na nabanggit ko, bat nung dito na sa Pilipinas tinanggal po?

Motor ay electrict operated. Engine ay gasoline or diesel fuel operated.

bakit kaya mahina ang kanyang kapangyarihang kabayo kung ihahambing sa ibang sasakyan na kasing halintulad ng Altis HV? Di ko mawari Toyota, ano nangyari?
Ask ko lang sir if na stuck sa traffic yung aircon ba magiging blower lang at walang lamig.. most of the hybrid kasi namamatay yung lamig ng aircon at blower lang.
Hindi paps, normal pa din buga ng aircon kahit naka ev mode.

Oo paps. Maski yung Camry tingnan mo, 2M na yun? Mapapaisip ka talaga. Complacent talaga si Toyota pag sa PH market. Pero pag sa ibang bansa na version of the same model at price, mas maganda offerings nila. Inuuto tayo ng Toyota kesyo alam nila mas marami (pa) silang tagatangkilik.

@@eavenhascht Hybrid technology pinaguusapan dito, yung iba ba naglabas na ng Hybrid sa Pinas? Also, Hindi kelangan ni Toyota ng extra features because leading siya sa Philippines. In the end Reliability over everything. Yung ibang nasa likod ni Toyita, dehado, paramihan ng extra features para makabenta. Dun lang sila magkakaroon ng chance makanakaw ng benta.

not worth 1.6M. just get the 1.6V for 1.2M with almost the same looks (except for those blue accents). problema ang battery neto after warranty. and weird feeling din ang ev mode pag sumipa ang engine pag inapakan mo nagvivibrate annoying daw according to automotive journalists.
