Something a lot of people miss is the two vessels at the end take the exact same pose that Albrieght and Loid did right before Loid locked him into the time coffin. That hand on the cheek. The one attacking was feeding off of Loid's anger and indfference to Albright that he was feeding it. So the pose reminded Loid of love and so calmed it. Thats why when the camera zooms out, Loid has his own hand on his own cheek while staring at the two statues.
So many people miss that detail. We have already learned that conceptual embodiment is a concept _very_ prevalent in Warframe’s story-even the Man in the Wall is an embodiment of Albrecht’s fear. Loid is no different, and his emotions are just as susceptible to void manifestation.
Mactics: This is probably a melee mission so I bring the Glaive to kill them from afar and through walls. Lotus: Melee strike all the orbs Chat half a minute later: Melee strike the orbs
I love how when Loid says "They're attacking our eyes and ears" He's talking about *LITERAL* eyes and ears. The sensory array is just one big void eye and ear.
The missing finger is supposed to be the finger they used to start researching and use so ships etc can jump into the void to travel long distances. It is the finger that Albert Entreti cut off when he closed the portal to the void on his first trip. The Orokin replicated it and used it for space travel, that is why the Railjacks have one and the Zariman ship has another. The Orokin replicated them.

Rap tap tap is from Rell - Rell was using the voice of knocking (for example the finger in RJ engine knocks or u can sometimes hear it in certain moments in quests) because he was guarding our world from Man in the Wall and heard it A LOT. When u chose what to do with a Kuva u CREATED WALLY - kinda a void version of yourself. A clone. Same how Albrecht had his own Wally - 16:46. Everytime u met Yourself with Black eyes in quests ("Hey kiddo", Zariman, The handshake to "help" you with Lotus) it was Wally. A thing to note. The Drifter didn't have any contact with Kuva yet. He doesn't have his Wally and it could be important later.
MAYBE the fact the Drifter has no (never has contact with) Wally is the reason Lotus choose him (Drifter) to go back in time in "The Lotus Eaters" So, he can't be tracked down by them. I just realize now that "Eaters" has in "s" in it.
@@GamerSnap I think so too.. the eaters could be a reference to infested frames in 1999 trailer. Seen somewhere that it could also be connected to the helminth strand as the naming of some bacterias or viruses are called similar
I thought the Man in the Wall is a entity that exists in the void. In Duviri you hear the people talking about him too. And theres a npc in every cycle hidden who misses a finger. Also there are logs where it is implied (thx to Eternalism) that the Drifter is a version of the Tenno who was the only one who wasn't saved by the deal and was left alone on the Zariman without powers. And so he focused on the Duviri book and Duviri became reality. While there are versions where the Tenno was saved with the other children. And thanks to the Man in the Wall they got their powers. Man it's so confusing...
Yup. At least as shown on TH-cam, the only ones he has left are optional, Warframe-specific ones: Octavia's Anthem, Limbo Theorem, Sands of Inaros, Hidden Messages, and Jade Shadows. And 1999 Prologue.
"The audio in this scene can't be used on TH-cam..." We should always follow that up with the clip of when DE premiered that scene and said, "Streamers, don't worry about copyright strikes when you reach this moment." It's even worse because it was such a perfect combination, using a song titled "Into The Void" that was released in 1999... On a not-really related note, the subway sequence immediately brought back memories of another MMO, thanks to the equally mind-blowing experience of playing through the Tokyo Subway Incident in the tutorial of Secret World.
Albrecht Entrati was a husband of Grandmother in Nekralisk. So his daughter is A Mother(that then was named Aurelia, and if you remember lessons about eternalism, it was her who talk about this stuff, at the last panel there was even info that all of this is "by Aurelia and Albrecht Entrati". You can find Albrechts statue on Zariman. With this weird bowlike helmet. When Man in the wall reach to him from void and Albrecht order his daughter to close portal it severed Wally's finger. That piece of flesh kick start all void based technology. Basicaly every time when you see somewhere big finger its a cloned version of original.
Nope, Grandmother is not the mother of "Mother". She's the parent of Father. Grandmothers name is/was Dagath, which is explained in Dagaths (the warframe) lore.
I looooove Albrechts Diary so much. English is not my first language, but the way it is written and delivered evokes a certain feeling in me that no other medium ever has. The performance... feels so alive? And now we are up to date! Whispers in the Walls set up the vibe of 1999 soo nicely!
Yeah this quest is the first of a new chapter still being written. Personally I’m quite eager to see what mind bending horrors Wally has in store down the line.
This was another great one. Would love for you to do a compilation of all the scenes that play when you upgrade your faction ranking with the Cavia. It goes into the story of Fibonacci, Tagfer, and Bird-3. I breezed through getting them to max just to get their whole story out. Its a good one. Im surprised you still havent done Octavia's Anthem and a few of the other side missions before all these story quests. Looking forward to whatever you post next.
It's so terrifying how Wally can use the love we feel for others as a weapon against ourselves. A weapon to make us the worst of ourselves to do what he wants. Albrecht knows this and he knows that to defeat Wally we must be true to our feelings and who are. Part of my theory as to how Albrecht is fighting against Wally alongside use from ages long past.
I get that the audio for the Arthur sequence had to be cut, but _just_ cutting it and not replacing it with edited audio (music filtered out with software) or at least giving us subtitles for what Mac is saying is kinda weak... like, at that point, you probably should have removed the section entirely, instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, but doing nothing that makes it less of an inconvenience. (And no, I'm not hating, just giving constructive criticism)
from setting for paradoxes and time travel to learning a characters lore (soon right?) warframe has gone nutty on us.. .also welcome to the labs: the current "endgame"... what with netracells and such
The man in the Wall and the Indiference are the same thing and it's basically a lovecracftian eldritch horror beyond the veil of reality trying to claw it's way into it, never expected eldritch nonsense in my space ninja game. Also it can Time travel too, but is kinda locked/stuck due to the finger being in our time, complex stuff.
1:07 Highly recommended Falcon, been my favorite Glavie weapon, its auto-tracking range is insane, and it only require for Rank 8 so you can use it for Rank 9 test plus electricity built-in. and too bad we can't hear what Mactics saying during he fast time met Arthur, It might be difficult, but if the talking could have another audio track.
i don't know if you read these comments, but i want to point out that at 48:31, Tagfer was calling out to you by saying "Mara Lohk" multiple times. This is actually in a language called 'VoidTongue'. the translation to English is roughly: "child of the void"
The story with Loid and the Cavia reputation wise is SO GOOD. Also I feel that Loid and Albrecht relationship is better than Osiris and Saint 14. It doesn't feel well, pushy about it.
Yo Mac, you planning on continuing GM guides next episode in D2? I def prefer your GM guides over a lot of other youtubers. I like the commentary while doing the GM style guide, and the way you cover important little things that aren't build specific rather than the typical "just use ____ OP build/gear and profit" type walkthrough. Went from never thinking I'd gild conqueror to being 1 Liminality completion from it thanks to you, in a duo team at that.
Is Wally going to kill Lotus? like kill kill and not presumably dead like in New War. It was never explained why Drifter was able to cross universes, when did he do it and how he regained the remains of Natah to feed and revive her. When Operator makes a deal with his void self, he offered him "His Light ". The last scene of his update shows his two versions crushing a lotus flower.

well of course they are walking legs, what did you think legs were for?
Grell? think you edited the wrong part of your comment dawg
MAYBE the fact the Drifter has no (never has contact with) Wally is the reason Lotus choose him (Drifter) to go back in time in "The Lotus Eaters" So, he can't be tracked down by them.
I just realize now that "Eaters" has in "s" in it.
@@hazeysr yup xd
I watched this man start the game i blinked and now hes alright past me in progress jesus hes fast
For real, within a month he’s already pretty much where I am, with more fashion and Random stuff then me too😅
I would love to see your reaction to jade's shadow. It's also emotionally heavy like sacrifice.
He's pretty much caught up on quests, right?
Wild
Yup. At least as shown on TH-cam, the only ones he has left are optional, Warframe-specific ones: Octavia's Anthem, Limbo Theorem, Sands of Inaros, Hidden Messages, and Jade Shadows. And 1999 Prologue.
@@shadowshedinja6124 oof he should have played Octavia's anthem a while ago
I think there was some symbolism at the end where the operator is holding a lotus flower, almost like wally has her in his grasps
Grandmother is not the "mother" of Entrati Mother, she is the "mother" of Father. In short she is the in-law of Entrati.
I know the TH-cam videos are behind, but I’m kind of surprised he’s still rocking the default fit for the drifter
still am in live for the most part with a few minor color modifications, idk i just think it looks really good
@@MacticsG1 same. Drifter fit goes hard.
I looooove Albrechts Diary so much. English is not my first language, but the way it is written and delivered evokes a certain feeling in me that no other medium ever has. The performance... feels so alive?
And now we are up to date! Whispers in the Walls set up the vibe of 1999 soo nicely!
If these walls could talk
Yeah this quest is the first of a new chapter still being written. Personally I’m quite eager to see what mind bending horrors Wally has in store down the line.
The walls are whispering and you shall listen
This was another great one. Would love for you to do a compilation of all the scenes that play when you upgrade your faction ranking with the Cavia. It goes into the story of Fibonacci, Tagfer, and Bird-3. I breezed through getting them to max just to get their whole story out. Its a good one. Im surprised you still havent done Octavia's Anthem and a few of the other side missions before all these story quests. Looking forward to whatever you post next.
Mactics out here not casting a single ability
Bro I know! It gets on my tits 🤣
THIS is what I've been waiting for. Whispers is by far my favorite update.
I still tremble and cry a bit whenever I watch that last touch on the face. DE are sages at at the art of story telling.
from setting for paradoxes and time travel to learning a characters lore (soon right?) warframe has gone nutty on us.. .also welcome to the labs: the current "endgame"... what with netracells and such
The man in the Wall and the Indiference are the same thing and it's basically a lovecracftian eldritch horror beyond the veil of reality trying to claw it's way into it, never expected eldritch nonsense in my space ninja game. Also it can Time travel too, but is kinda locked/stuck due to the finger being in our time, complex stuff.
_and they were _*_associates_*
Loid is such a tsundere.
And now that u have unlocked Deimos laboratories, one thing MUST be done... 60 eyes Fragmented one boss
Btw with a gunblade you can complete test without a step
"Insert ballas speech from the sacrifice" and the end would have made more sense
This late game mission that takes some hundreds of hours to reach has me hooked. I definitely wasn't hooked before this.
29:32 that stone pillar is really making my stone pillar rise
Literally cannot wait to eventually see you face off against the Fragmented ONE
That part where you had to cut audio is so fucking cool and it pisses me off that no one can use it on any video.
Albrecht's story is cosmic horror at its finest.
The true pinnacle of eidolon hunting mastery is to become like those people who do 6x3 hunts solo casually
I only just now noticed that the gargoyle is a hybrid of the cavia
MR 19 ranking quest was hard until I remembered Wisp was basically invisible while airborne and the quest became extremely easy.
MR 19 is going to be stealth mission - bro takes in Ember. Bruh moment.
Mactics stares at blue ass for an hour and nine minutes
i don't know if you read these comments, but i want to point out that at 48:31, Tagfer was calling out to you by saying "Mara Lohk" multiple times. This is actually in a language called 'VoidTongue'. the translation to English is roughly: "child of the void"
You know things were really rough on Zariman for Tenno to be like "That giant threatening looking thing? Yeah, i'm going to befriend it."
Blood got a higher MR than I do and I've been playing since b4 voruna came out.
Absolute CINEMA, 1999 will be the goat
Oh he hasn't played citrine quest yet. That's why he didn't realize to collect the glyphs right away.
I realy want to see his reaction to every cavia standing cutscene.
DE specifically said you can use the audio from that cutscence it was said as they teased it at tennocon. Please edit.
I thought if I looked up outside the lab, there was a Man in the wall. Could it be that the laboratory is inside a Man in a wall?
He's MR19 already? he speedruning this game lmaoo
Videos are far behind. On stream he is mr 24
Me chilling at mr11 after 5 years: \_[:/]_/
MR19 already?? dang bro has been sprinting through those ranks.
Rap tap tap. The man in the wall.
Another great vid. Love watching your warframe journey. Now that you're somewhat up to date on the story, any chance you've watched the 1999 trailer? If u have, would love to see your reaction to it here 🤞
Man having a teammate of people does help along way 🤣 I realized you already passed me and I’ve been playing 6 months now i also realized I need too complete a lot too 🙂↕️ but watching your videos at least give me an ideas which way to go and what to do hahahah
Yoooo Mac! Nice to see the WF content again keep being cool dude!
2:40 i really thought bro was gonna say "welp lets try again tomorrow" but then i remembered they changed the cooldown, such pain....
Well, they always gave you a few attempts. I did my Mr19 a few years ago and definitely didn't do it first try. (I haven't finished his full attempt so im not sure if he failed it or not yet), but his first scuff and being given a second (and third) attempt has been like that for a while. Of course, failing it all 3 times makes you have to wait 24hrs
Edit: he passed 2nd try
You get three tries in that MR challenge.
@@KeepUrClothesOn well i was talking in a more general sense i should have used a different set of words, i believe they lowered the cooldown for all MR challenges from a day to like an hour right?
you be keeping me sane when I'm not sleeping
Dang did all of us leave Destiny for Warframe? I’m MR 20 now been grinding for months!
Does he end up watching Tennocon reveal after? 😲
Whispers with tap tap tap😂 harrow and Dante quests
The walls speak the final rune at wars end
So weird watching someone tricap normally when I try hard them xD
1999 is going to blow your mind.
Hey man I watched u from the start I always watch ur vids are the best and hey don’t listen to hater they say that cuz they are jealous of u so I am ❤❤
im waiting for the day Mactics reaches 400 day login, it will be legendary
I like that Mactics now has trust issues because of Chains of Harrow.
They are IN GOD DAMN WALLS 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
-Loid
Right, his “research” partner
haha....so glad you found the graphic settings
god when i heard NIN on this campaign i nearly shat myself
DE claimed to have removed the copyright claims on that song, i guess they lied.
Just because DE wanted to make it safe for others to stream with it, doesn't mean the other companies stop being c*nts over supposedly (in this case, most likely temporarily) licensed music
@@KarX211 im aware of that, but months after the fact they said they fixed the issue so people wouldn't get copyright claims on it. This is why you dont make music from the music industry, you go indie or make your own music instead.
It's actually a real shame this ever happened, they were so desperate to get this band to put a song into the game that they broke a decade long tradition of never having copyrighted music.
