My first experience with him gave me the assurance that made me recommend him to my friends without fear of them failing, i got four of my friends involved with him already
Congratulations on the 173! I am struggling with the LSAT. I have a 142. I just got the powerscore books a few weeks ago and it feels hopeless. But your video really helped me. Thank you!
Congratulations on the 173! I’m going to start studying soon and this video was very helpful. It’s funny because when I went to a campus tour for a law school, an attorney that was with her friend said the Power Score Bibles was the best option to go with when studying.
This is SO helpful, thank you!!!! I'm starting to study for the August LSAT and trying to figure out how to do it. My GPA is not fantastic so I'm hoping the LSAT is give me better cushion!
When you speak for a little while, you get your flow and you get to see who you are. Smart young lady. Look out for you as the years pass, you will be kicking some butt. Good for you.
Thank you for this guide and BIG THANK YOU for recommending the Logic Games Bible. I saw others say they didn’t like it but it has really helped fill in a lot of the gaps for me! It really is all about what works individually so thanks for guiding me that way.
glad to hear our learning styles are the same!! I use the same prep books too..what did you major in undergrad? A 158-160 is pretty high for a basic diagnostics test. I was a business major so didn’t have too much practice with logical reasoning and logic games. Liberal Arts majors tend to score high and find the Lsat to be less difficult. I believe that plays a factor into having a high score with only 3 months of studying. 6 months was always recommended.
Best LSAT prep video I've seen. And I've seen a lot. I want to thank you for doing this. This was suuuuuper helpful to have the whole process laid out along with your scoring progress. Godspeed!
i absolutely loved all the people i spoke to at the law school, which was a big part of my decision! they really made me feel like it was a place i'd fit and really tried to be as helpful to me as they could throughout the entire application process, and that meant a lot more to me than just ranking alone
@@tayy_kay And the icing on the cake is that you are likely to wind up in the top 10% of the class. This is so important to set the tone for your legal career.
This was so helpful! I’m so tempted to just do exactly what you did week-by-week in hopes of getting your score 😂😂 but I know myself, I’m going to need some in-person prep courses or at least a tutor 😪
181th Like! Congrats on such a high score Taylor! I love how you are able to balance life with career. That is so rare to find. Keep blessing us people with your content. Like & subbed! Here now
dayummmm!!! you learn fast AF!!!! u smart. how did you get over the timing? I feel like when I do practice, I can get the majority of the questions right, but the timing always trips me up! CONGRATS on WashU!!!
Hi Taylor! Just subscribed to your channel! 💕I love how you pointed out that getting to know your learning style goes a long way! Many will benefit from this! This was GREAT! So excited for your journey, and can’t wait for more videos! Congratulations 🎉!!
Hey Taylor, I'm currently a 4th year about to graduate university in the fall. I'm using your video to block out two months of my schedule to follow your routine! If you have any other tips like how to balance your life while studying for the LSAT! Thanks and keep up the great content.
Weirdest thing ever. So I found your video because I’m taking the LSAT and I need a high score. When you showed your notes I was like “I’ve seen this before”. Then you started saying that you studied by yourself and then it clicked, I saw your blog post on Pinterest! 😂 Good to find you here 🤍
Thank you for this. I’m going into my sophomore year of college, and I’ve always dreamed of going to law school. I was wondering, what should I do to prep for the LSAT right now? If I started to study for the exam now, would it be too early? And when do you think I should start preparing?
Notice she didn’t mention any blind review or any type of review to that effect. This girl is smart af 🤣 or whatever quality you need to score high on the LSAT, maybe not “smarts” but she’s got it naturally. I wish 🙃
hmm, it's been a few years since i've taken the lsat so i don't know if i'm the most knowledgeable resource on this one, but i feel like the lsat itself doesn't change much and you'd probably still be fine with the 2017 versions?
Thank you for this video and providing your schedule, it was so informational and helpful! Do you recommend the powerscore bibles or the powerscore workbooks if you had to choose one to start out with?
Hi Taylor, I just graduate undergrad like two weeks ago, I’m planning on taking my LSAT this upcoming October, so would it be smart to register two months prior (like in August), and can you talk about a little bit of what you wrote in your acceptance letter, if you haven’t already?
Register now! October is one of the most popular registration dates, especially since its after summer. I know because I tried to register for it in late-August and no spots were available in my region (which typically has many test centers available). LSAC opened its registration so I'd recommend registering soon!
Thanks Taylor for sharing 🙏🏼. Was there a reason why you mixed in all the sections in each week of studying? I.e. Why didn’t you finish studying each section before you went on to the next?
On a scale of 1-10, how much would you recommend the type training book? I have the Bible’s and the word books. What are the type training books like? More questions? Thank you in advance! 💗 subscribed btw 💗
This video was really helpful. Thank you so much, I'm glad I found your channel! I do have a quick question. Are the type trainings included in the bible books or are they different?
@@tayy_kay Thanks for the reply ! I just enrolled in 7 SAGE and my score went up 20 points !!! Now I'm at 158. I also started breaking up my day - taking two walks and stopping for lunch. I find that if I work a bit slower some days, my brain is no as strained; as opposed QUICKLY trying to fit in as much as I can in one day. Then after my "slower" day - my brain is refreshed for the and I will get more material under my belt at a faster pace. Did you do a lot of BR?? I find that is where I get the most learning in \. One of my biggest "fears" is that the FLEX format will throw me off as I've been PTing via the digital format , which I heard is not much different … thoughts?

Lol. You are hilarious. Thank you for summarizing. 😂
Keith did she mention how many hours she studied per day?
This video could be 2 minutes
I failed 2 times, i lost money to reviews that never helped but the major thing is that I've not lost hope
I had interest in working with him but I was discouraged by my friends out of ignorance 😔
Passing the LSAT is when you study hard,if you can't study or you don't have time for your studies I'd advise you get yourself help like Mr Thomas

Hi Taylor!! What are your thoughts on the prep book LSAT Trainer by Mike Kim? Do you think that could be a sufficient study tool alone?

The earlier the better. 1 ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure
I’m gonna be a sophomore next semester. I was told that I should start prepping now, which is what I’m planning on doing. Good luck to you!
Yes, now. Try Khan academy. Good luck!
This is super resourceful and helpful! Love that you spoke about your experience, thank you!!
thank you, i'm glad that you found it useful!
I shudder to think of what I would be prepared to do for a 173 on that bloody exam
The lsat is kinda like an iq test. It usefulness as a metric goes down very fast as a function of how many times its completed.

Thank you for the great video! Very helpful. Did you take the prep tests online, if so, what site did you use? Or did you do it from the books? Thanks
i did them all in the books!
I have the 2017 bibles from powerscore. do you think they are obsolete in comparison to the 2020 lsat? do you think I should buy the 2020 versions?

definitely the bibles! they were by far the most useful resource for me :)
hey Taylor, I am currently studying for the LSAT and I am wondering when you started actual timed prep tests?
Start now! It's never too early. Take as many practice tests as possible. You can buy the real LSAT books on Amazon, ebay, etc.

Powerscore. bought them 2 weeks ago they came in the mail with standard shipping in TWO DAYS crazy

i ordered them on amazon!

You can use khan academy
Thank you for this info ! And good luck!
Oh my gosh! I love WASHU. Congrats!!
thank you!!
Just want to ask for undergraduate which subject you took for bachelor degree??
international affairs, public relations, and economics!
How were you able to stay focused reading so much every week. I find I struggle to sit for a study period longer than 4 hours.

Also, could you share the link for the type training books?
what was ur undergrad in? what was your gpa? i am considering law school but i doubt i get that high of a score :O
I think she's mentioned in previous videos that she had a 3.9 in international affairs and econ, plus regular internships in PR. :)

Hey, may I ask, why the pink hair? I saw a girl in my college having pink hair aswell, but never asked her. Thanks for replying!
not her but I used to have pink hair too. and I had pink hair because I wanted pink hair
@@shruthituplur188 thanks, so no specific reason? I know some use it after emotional breakdown or for attention
yep, i dyed it pink temporarily for literally no other reason than that i wanted to.
Did she say her diagnostic?
iirc it was around 160
Hey! do you tutor maybe by zoom?
How helpful was the type training?
i loved them! it was insanely helpful to just work through all those practice questions and familiarise myself with the format
With that score, I would have gone to a T14 law school.
Wash U is T20 so pretty close... also she mentioned a decent scholarship.
Did you have accomodations?
