Sorry. I call them as I find them. It's usually Petsmart who throws away fish who are still alive in unopened bags. If an entire bag of fish has a couple dead in it, Petsmart just throws away the entire bag. They don't even try to save the rest. They could isolate them for rehab. They could even euthanize them using Finquel and that would be better than leaving them to die slowly of suffocation or heat stress in a dumpster. It's been a while since I've found any live animals other than insects being thrown out by Petco, but it used to happen a lot up until about 12 years ago when I put them on blast here after finding a baby iguana still in his mesh bag and box from Fluker Farms. But they still commonly throw away crickets, Dubai roaches, and horn worms who are still alive, and that shouldn't be happening either.
