I agree Marion. We will not know when the rapture will occur until it happens. Yet so many people spend their time speculating on this. As our Lord Jesus Christ states no one knows the day. Only God the Father in heaven knows the day and the time. ❤

The second coming and the Rapture are the same. There is evidence in the Bible to support this. The rapture is a relatively new teaching. The concern is that when the rapture doesn’t happen, Christians going through the tribulation will be confused about the events and may lose faith. Some people teach that the 7 churches of revelation are 7 time periods that go along with this thought, which seems wrong. As you mentioned, Marion, people missed the first coming of Jesus because the events in the Bible were interpreted with the wrong timing/prophecy. I could be wrong about this. It’s important to diligently study God’s Word and to keep an open mind. We all need to be ready for Jesus when He comes back, that is the most important goal.
I believe the learned Pharisees of the time of Jesus's first coming would have known that Messiah was coming at that time period because of the writings of Daniel. And certainly NO other person qualified as Messiah up until the time of the destruction of the Temple by Titus the Prince of Rome (his father Vespasian was made Caesar). But that they yielded to a spirit of jealousy and a religious spirit when they saw Him.
First rapture (Corinth. A' 15: 50 55) and ( Thessal.A' 4: 15) (the hinderer is the bride of Jesus and first will leave in the clouds to meet Jesus( thessal. B' 2: 6 7, they ascend up ) after will be revealed The man of sin antichrist thessalB' 2: 8 12 and after the 2nd coming of Jesus with His saints and angels on earth (they descend) to destroy antichrist...the pre tribulation rapture is a mystery says apostle.Paul..those who not raptured will testify because didn't take the mark 666 ( gather by the angels) another event rapture, another event 2nd coming Jesus...God bless you from Greece...

Jesus never mentioned a secret imminent pretribulation rapture, but He did describe the "REAL GATHER" in Matt.24;31. Any other story is false.
