We lit our pink 4th advent candle in church this morning and had a lovely service thinking about the Christ child and his mother, Mary. Made me think of my mum who passed to God 27th Dec three years ago this year. Thanks be to God for our mothers and thanks be to God for Marion here. 🙏
Such a beautiful message. Thank you, Sister Marion, and may God bless all here as we celebrate the birth of our precious savior, Jesus Christ!❤️🙏🏻✝️🕊✨️
God, morning Marion 🥰have lit the little candle. How amazing that the Lord woke his daughter Kim up at the right time. We have had such a difficult night, waiting for doctors to get back to us for 5 hours. Thankfully the doctors have prescribed antibiotics, Ralph is going to collect them in 2 hours. Please continue to pray Marion,Terry, and Friends.
Dear Marion🥰 we live in a cul-de-sac, and everyone puts a card through people's doors at Christmas time. I asked Ralph to accompany me with the cards this year as I feel so weak, and last year, I did not manage to deliver cards as the lupus had just started. Ralph turned round and said, "This is a waste of time." I told him no it is not. Every neighbour is receiving a card with Gods Holy Scriptures inside." That is exactly what the Lord would want us to do.

Bonjour chère Marion, happy 4th of Advent ! The story of Mary opposed to Eve's is that Mary is the example of obedience. Both knew the Lord. Nothing could bring Mary to argue about God s demand. She is blessed among all the women.God made the first man, Adam, and His only Son Jesus by a humble girl. Catholic church calls her the queen of heaven and the mother of God. In the prayer I can t pray this because she is the mother of the Son of God. The Angel didn't t ask her to give birth to God. I am afraid the Catholics might believe that God exists only because of Mary. It s important to pray the right Word. Mary is known in another religion I don t name for being the Mother of the prophet Jésus. Yes He is and was also a prophet, a high priest, Lord of the Lords, King of the Kings and God, the Son. Blessed be God s Word.
I have been following you for awhile Marion. What is the purpose of the candle? I know Catholics light candles and burn incense etc. you are not Catholic are you?
@@JetVet4Jesus No I am not but many denominations light candles to mark the four Sundays in advent. A bit like an advent calendar but for the weeks. One candle for the first Sunday two for the next three for the third and four for the fourth. They are usually in a ring which symbolises the eternal nature of God. There is a centre candle lit on christmas day representing Jesus the light of the world.
@@marionfield9186thank you for the inspiration to research this history: The tradition of lighting candles during Advent has its roots in pre-Christian Germanic cultures, who lit candles during the winter solstice to celebrate the return of light. The tradition was adapted by Christians in the Middle Ages, and the modern Advent wreath tradition can be traced back to 1839! Advent are a longstanding Catholic tradition that was originally adopted by Christians in the Middle Ages as part of their spiritual preparation for Christmas. Merry Christmas Marion 😊✝️🙏
Be it unto me Lord according to your word.🙏❤️
