Charles Stanley once said to really listen, and if you do you will hear any false notes or, conversely, you will hear Truth. I heard truth in what you've explained. I hadn't realized it's the great Holy Spirit pushing against evil in this world, holding the line. I should have done because He is with us, on earth, in this fallen world. It’s about living life conscious that the Lord might return at any moment. Therefore not clinging to material things of this life and laying up treasure in heaven. Focusing on spiritual things more than material things. Hope that helps.
