This motor didn’t have any when I first pulled it apart. Head gasket must have been done at some point prior and they weren’t put back on so I didn’t either

I think piston orientation matters because the valve reliefs are different sizes on the tops of the pistons

Just curious how much did it cost to deck the head and block?
Cant remember off the top of my head but think it was somewhere around the 700 mark but that was honing the bores too
Does the rb20 not have thrust main bearings?
It does. You can see it a couple times in the vid when you look at the crank journals in the block. I just didn’t pull that one out and mention it
