I agree with most things said here. Acts 1-3 were the best gameplay in this genre. In cruel you get so powerful that the gameplay disappears. Then you hit maps and it's just a worse version of PoE1 in every way, because they imported mechanics from PoE1 without taking into account the slower more methodical design of PoE2, that's what it feels like to me anyway. I do hope the game moves towards what the acts 1-3 are and not towards what the endgame is, but a lot of people seem to want a PoE1 part 2 not a PoE2.
