First thing I thought was wow an artist that was willing to quote Joe Rogan And JP on his channel. At the very least he’s an open-minded thinker so kudos to you 👏🏽 I feel like artists and musicians by default are very left leaning and completely closed off to anything that doesn’t align with those values so it’s refreshing to see that’s not always the case.
Haha, thank you very much. I felt like I was taking a bit of a risk by putting this in my video when I made it, because it was an alternative viewpoint to my typical peers and audience, but I thought what the hell, the content of their quotes stands alone from the guys who said it and it helps my point. Glad I was true to my own views in hindsight. Appreciate your support and thank you for watching :)
Thank you sir for the video. I just found out about your channel this morning and I have watched already most of the videos. I’m a beginner composer and have been desperately facing this lack of inspiration and new ideas.
You’re very welcome! I’m glad you were able to find some use out of the videos on my channel. I hope to get back to uploading again soon. Thanks as always and good luck composing!!
Hi Louie, great content! What do you use to make those staves transparent and white. It is a much more beautiful way of presenting music notation as you get to see what the music evokes in the background layer. I would love how to know how to do that. Thanks in advance!
Hey! Thanks so much for watching. Sure, all i did was export the score as images (or you could convert a pdf score into pngs) applied an invert colour effect, then added the images to my video editor and remove the remaining black background :)
Thank you for this great tutorial video. I also create soundtracks but in a more electronic arrangements. The piece you wrote for the Alchemy of the Earth is extremely beautiful! Congratulations! Best Regards!

Thanks very much! I use a mixture of Logic, Ableton, Cubase and notional software such as Dorico and Sibelius + protools for recording live sometimes. For the tracks in this video, and most of my orchestral tracks I use Logic :)
Ah, politics. What they said still stands, in my opinion. You can disagree with the quote, and you can have your own opinion on those two figures, but I still stand by the content of their quotes.
@@petertremblay3725 No worries, yeah that game isn't actually out yet, it's still in development. It does have a steam page now, though: store.steampowered.com/app/2788430/Alchemy_of_the_Earth/
@@petertremblay3725 Often true, but not always the case. I think there is a cult market for most alternative approaches to gaming. I don't believe the intention of the developer is to sell millions of copies as much as it is to express his own passion for the genre of game he's making and share with like minded people, which I applaud him for, to be honest.

Journey's Soundtrack is the worst choice if you are testing out a speaker.
It sounds good on every kind of speaker.
Haha yes indeed
Please don’t quote Joe Rogan and Jordan Peterson 😭

Oh hush
As a game dev i don't see a lot of people playing that game!
Which game do you mean, sorry? Journey?
@@LouieTaylorMusic The last one sorry i didn't specify.

@@LouieTaylorMusic The sad truth is that game with no violence don't sell very well.
