Sensational! Bummer that camera 2 was cutting your feet off (personal pet peeve when watching dance). Will definitely use this on school hols, looking forward to centre! 😘
Finally!!!!!! That’s what I wanted!! Followed by 30 min streach exercises, and you have an everyday 1 h class to improove your skill!!!💐💐💐🎉🎉🎉❤️❤️❤️ Thank you so much Claudia! I will share with my Brazilian “Ballet for Adults” friends! You are awsome girl!!!💐💐💐😘😘😘😘😘😘
It's so wonderful to just see you dance! Oh my... I mean I love your bright, cheery, bubbly personality, but to see you get into ballerina mode is simply gorgeous!
Claudia, thank you for this! You are such a stunning dancer. I was wondering, could you share the titles of the piano music? The very first piece in particular was so beautiful.
Thank you so much for this video!!! I love balances, too! Especially in passé! Today we did a balance at the end of our rond de jambe combination where we went up into sous-sous, brought the leg up through passé, and then extended out to second. Then brought the arms up into fifth and balanced. It was so great! Then before we did the other side, my teacher remarked, "you know, it really is amazing that you've only been dancing for a year." Today was my one year ballet anniversary! It was also officially three months en pointe. I was ready for pointe after six months, and actually started at nine months. And the strength it's building is such a game changer for my technique. I feel so proud! Ballet has become my everything! It's what was missing all these years! One of my classmates, who has danced for 50 years and was subbing for our teacher a few weeks ago, told me that it's a shame I didn't start when I was four. I wish I had! It feels so good to know that people can see your potential and believe in you! Ok, anyway, long winded post over. LOL!!! I'm 32 btw.
I never have done ballet but always loved it, and I certainly love watching your videos. I’m 26 and I’m working to save money and do ballet clases just to learn for the joy of it, and maybe one day I will tell my kids to never give up on their dreams even if they take time to be accomplished. Thank you Claudia for your hard work
Claudia, you're such a beautiful dancer and a really helpful teacher! I love the positive attitude and energy you have in your videos. Thank you for sharing your ballet experience in this channel, it's helped many people.
Omg Claudia I did watch you in class in some of the Royal Ballet World Ballet Day recordings but WOOOOOOW, you have such grace and elegance and tecnique and everything!!! So mesmerizing to watch, thanks a lot
@@cofr3979 th-cam.com/video/5EVMjnHFg-w/w-d-xo.html here it is!! You have to look for her, she is on the left side of the class, on the center it's easier to spot her ;)
The only thing I know about ballet is how to spell the word!😊 You make this not only look amazingly easy, but SO beautiful! Thank you for sharing, Claudia!! Many hugs from 🇨🇦
Hi Claudia, I can relate to you so well. I haven't danced some years as well and know the feeling when you hadn't danced in a while, then trying an 'old' routine again and still nailing it. Such a beautiful feeling. ❤ I can see the passion and happiness in your eyes while dancing. I would be so happy if you would dance again. 😘🌺
Omg...just watching this i can see how talented you are how beautifully you danced. Its so calming and with the music and your movement...my gosh. No words to fully express what im seeing and feeling. Not to mention this is just you practicing!! Love it.
I'm in my mid-thirties. Took ballet until I was 16. This was perfect. I've been strengthening my muscles so I was ready (a few years ago a single grand battement would warn me that cramps were a definite possibility). This class was easy enough to follow, but challenging enough to be interesting and give me some things to work on. Thanks!
Claudia you are amazing!!! it's so special watching you dance. wow. every movement is sooo accurate. you are truely an inspiration. I'm enjoying every second.
Ирма Романова. I agree. Really don’t understand the negativity of some people. Claudia is such an inspiration to so many dancers and teachers. Admiration from South Africa.
I don’t even ballet dance and have no interest to (I’m about as graceful as a wasp flying into a window) but your videos have got me loving ballet! It’s so mesmerising to watch and learn the intricacies. As someone who does dressage, it’s very frustrating how most people don’t understand that it takes a lot of work to look like you’re doing nothing! 😂
I agree, dressage and ballet have a lot in common. It is all about strength, flexibility and artistry. I (and my horse) love it though... I actually believe that my ballet training is beneficial to my riding skills, and vice versa!
your channel is saving me during quarantine!!! Your positive energy makes classes so fun and energizing, I wasn't checking to see how much time I had left haha. Thank you Claudia xxx
This is still my favourite ballet barre of all time even after all the professional/company/guest star ballet barres that happened during quarantine because 13:06 is the most relatable thing ive ever heard ina barre
Gorgeous as always Miss Claudia thank you for sharing your pointers and this help me with my dancing at home!!💖I love your collections and cannot wait to obtain them!!😄

Thank you for doing this video. I do ballet classes for fitness and exercise. But the dance school closes for summer vacation. The exercises look like a really good workout and the music is just divine.
Awesome class!! Just a note though, as someone not familiar with your classes, the different camera angles are confusing when trying to follow your instruction. It looks nice, but practically, we need your whole body in view at all times .
THANK YOU SO MUCH for making the BARRE video for us. During the period of Coronavirus, I've been going outside for dancing. Since I find your video online, I can follow your video to practice. It's nice to have some practice at home. I love yr video. Thanks again. Finally, if you make a video of beginner center for us. That's grate!
Great video. Thanks for posting! I don't understand the Right and Left instructions though. If I am mirroring you the first time, when you say we are switching sides, your camera just shows the same side from the back (which would be the side I just did).
Love this, thank you! Will be doing this barre while on my upcoming holiday to avoid dreading that first class back after not having danced for a couple of weeks! x
Wow! I'm so excited. I didn't think I still could do these exercises, after not having done it so long and being no longer young, but it's all coming back to me now. If I do find the courage to do it again, I think I will dive straight into Intermediate level but no points yet. A bit too dangerous still. The leotards design is nice. Thank you for these good videos. I enjoy them.
I have to admit I found this a teeny bit difficult 😆 I'm gonna do this till I get it perfect, it'll help take down and process steps faster during competitions:) thank you!💕
Pirouettes at the barre are so much harder than in the centre! (I've been focusing on my basic technique while away from the studio for summer and I can really feel my VMOs 😊 thanks Miss Claudia!)
You are too cute! Just getting back to teaching after a very long time...Thank you for your wonderful tutorials. I refer my students to you quite often. ♥
Hello Claudia! This will help me so much for my summer practice! I've known you since 10k. You inspire me so much ! Could you maybe also do a video about how to be "en dehors" ... Love you
You can definitely warm up your muscles but please don't do static stretching before class! That increases the risk of injury. Dynamic stretching is the way to go. But actually a good rule is that you should be warm after doing pliés! 😊😊
I know this video is many years old so you probably won't even see this comment but I enjoyed this so much and would love to see another video like this from you!
I am 24 years old and have been taking ballet classes for 1 year! This class seems great and I'm definitely going to try it! What could I use as a barre at home ?
Yes, covid brought me here too, but I'm so glad it did! Claudia your class is just what I need! You're an amazing dancer! However, can you tell the camera person to just stick with the one camera on a tripod that shows your whole form, every time the camera switches angles it throws me off and I can't see what your feet are doing. One camera is truly all you need! Otherwise - perfect class! :-)
I went back to ballet after 2 years and the one thing I lost was my extensions. Jelly!! Turn out was the same, even better because my muscles where not as strained.

Goodness. There is nothing like ballet. So beautiful. Thank you Ms. Claudia.

Yes, please that would be amazing!😍

Claudia's finger snaps give me a sense of peace and well-being.
yes to this!! i have an audition on monday so this is perfect timing for me to brush up on my technique☺️☺️
I would appreciate if you always film your feet not just the arms because I forget very easy haha
I have trouble understanding who puts a thumb down??? I wish they would explain why - I'm really curious.
Jealousy is my guess.
