One of the most man playing teams in the league. With 2 already good/great corners in Robert Alford and Desmond Trufant, he doesnt have to play the #1 WR every week and he doesnt have to play every down. He'll only play when the defense is in nickle and although thats alot now days, its still not starter reps. He has 2 good safeties behind him and up and coming front 7 in front of him. Hes already a good player, put him on a good defense, he can be a DROY candidate.
Yes I believe he’s gonna be great. I don’t like the saints. But let’s be honest Marshown Lattimore was great. I know Isiah is different but I gotta good feeling about him for some reason. He’s gonna be great in the cover 3. Mike Evans and Mike Thomas he’s gonna cover. He’s gonna allow Atlanta defense to blitz more and create turnovers now. He’s really gonna add to our defensive scheme.
My Falcons got the best WR in he draft late 1st round and he best CB in the 2nd round. And got a mid round DT that can develop into a starter just like they did with G. Jarrett

Like you said, he will primarily play press at the next level, but it's not always in his hands and if opposing teams run double-sets and don't have a quality nickel or safety to play man on the slot receiver, I don't see how he can consistently stay in true one-on-one with the X receiver. Nevertheless, an excellent prospect and easily top 20 material.

Everyone is surprised by that D&D reference, myself included, but when you think about it, the skills/interests for playing D&D and obsessively studying/analyzing future NFL draft picks have a lot in common. It makes sense that a lot of people here are picking up on what he means by Natural 20.
This is interesting since he's been ranked 4th or the 5th best corner on some scouts' rankings. Can't wait to see your analysis on the other highly ranked corners.
Wow...great analysis! I gotta look more into this kid. Denzel Ward is a beast, being a Bucks fan i know, but he also was playing behind one of the better D lines in ncaa football last yr. That can help a CB out tremendously. Although not as fast as Ward, Oliver is bigger and technique trumps speed!

Yet another week of excellent insight I was very shocked to the title saying he's the best cornerback in the draft considering I think Denzel Ward is better but I really appreciate the time you took the break down everything ,and prove your point so I take away some definite insight to consider, your the man Brett. All Things Considered my Packers probably would be a good fit for him if they take him ,but then again if Oakland doesn't go with that outside linebacker I could see him maybe being a good fit there because they need work on that defense, because they could be a dark horse next season with Gruden taking the helm
