Received mine a few days ago, set it up and added all my clubs. Can’t wait to try it out when we go to Arizona in May.

Good video. A few questions I have after using my H4 for the first time last weekend. 1) What difference does it make if you keep your H4 on your bag vs wearing it on your belt? I assume stats will be less accurate than if you're over your ball. Is that it? 2) Can I tag/tap my club before I take my practice swings or should it be done just before I hit my actual shot? 3) If I tag/tap the club and then decide I need to change clubs, can I simply tag/tap again to change that club? 4) When putting, do I still need to manually tag/tap each putt, even when on the pin collect screen? Thanks.

Hey Alex, 1. It is down to personal preference although you may find tagging a shot easier on your belt. 2. Tap a shot from the location you hit your shot. This can be done before a practice swing or the shot. 3. Yes, it should register your last tag at that location and delete the previous. Although you can also change in editing post round 4) Yes, to record the location of each putt. Then you should confirm the number when you record the pin location with PinCollect. PinCollect is so the system to knows the location of the pin on the green when you play that hole.

I currently use another GPS/shot tracking option on the market, but thinking about switching. However, based on this video one thing I am unsure of is can I use the app and sync my round as I play per hole for example and verify my shots are correct before I tee off on the next hole?

I’ve only used my H4 one time out on the course and I’m very impressed. Obviously so much of it depends on us remembering to connect each club after each swing. My question is how do I keep track of my score as I’m playing? I was using my iPhone 13 phone/ Shotscope app and the H4 and I did not know what my final score was until I finished the round.

Great video, thanks! When you sync to your mobile after the ended round, will it also display the score on each hole? I am asking if I should rely on some other system for score tracking. I don’t care tracking this during the round.

When putting, do you tap the putter to the device before each putt?

  • @Eire-td5ml
    @Eire-td5ml ปีที่แล้ว

Do you have to tap it every time you take a putt

    Two questions:
    1. Is there any big advantage to adding the scope functionality if you have the GPS in this or the watch devices? Some flexibility is lost, maybe? Do you lose GPS signals on occassion? As an older, less frequent player, it seems the H4 would be more than adequate as compared to GPS via an app on ones phone.
    2. Does taping the next club as you work your way to the hole 'end' the previous club's use/distance/result location and log its data collection until its next use? Or do you have to press a button to get ready for the next shot/club tap?
    Thanks!

Personally adding the scope to this kit in my eyes would be a little pointless as it's telling you GPS distances already without manually using a scope to find them. The kit is very accurate and helped me take shots off my game!
Each time you scan a new club it will make that distance automatically for you and give you the distance to the pin with potential hazards. Putting was the weirdest to get used to but as soon as you are putting just scan your first putt and press the number on the screen whether you 1, 2 or 3 putted.
Brilliant bit of kit for a fraction of the price compared to other leading brands and would highly recommend.

I tried this question on customer service email but no reply... Can you make the vibration or tagging sound louder? I am hearing semi-impaired and don't always know when it has tagged.

Is it possible to mark positional shots on the device, or do I have to do that after the round on the app?

How many rounds do I need to play before it will display club average on the app?

Do you need to do practice swings before tagging your club, or does it ignore practice swings due to not hitting the ball?

I use the watch version of this, and you don't have to worry about doing more practice swings. If you aren't moving far from your location, it's going to assume all swings made in that area are for that one shot. You'd have to move a ways (not entirely sure how far though) for it to assume a shot was made, and now you are taking a new shot.

I have Apple Watch. I am looking at either arccos or shoot scope. Any information on the data analytics in the app? Since I already have Apple Watch is there another product from shot scope to consider? Arccos has integration with Apple Watch, so am just trying to figure out best path to take. This one from shotscope as handheld was appealing to me since i already have watch and just wanted to know how that might work together? Thanks

Arccos on Apple Watch is messy. If you wear a long sleeve it can easily miss shots as the mic is covered. I have to make way more corrections when trying to use my watch instead of my phone. Also the sensors are massive compared to SS. I’m looking to switch hence watching this vid!

@@spenno73 Isn't there also a fee for them. Shot Scope says no fees after the purchase to log and interact with performance info on the app.

@@ebachy yes there is now hence them giving the sensors (3rd generation) away for free with a 45 days trial. I paid for my sensors (gen2) in 2019 so I’m exempt from the subscription… there’s different hardware in the sensors so they can tell who has to pay. People are selling 3rd gen on eBay when they’ve got them for free and they are useless with a subscription
