I like Yuka-chan's attitude towards language. Even if it's not perfect (yet), she has confidence when using it and she gets her ideas across, which is the whole point of communication. If who you're talking to understands, it's a success. It reminds me of Natsuki's (from Abroad in Japan) English. I imagine this is approximately what I'd sound like too speaking Japanese in Japan. 😆
I agree I think it is all about having the confidence to have a go. When I was in Germany many years ago I knew the words I wanted to use but never really had the confidence to try them out, so I used to mumble and bumble, until I stood there looking helpless😁😁

Your English is improving. Even though you struggle to form sentences because you can't think of the right phrase in time, it is flowing much better and easy to listen to. You have a very nice English accent and you sound relaxed. Your friend with the camera is very patient and gets almost full invisibility points though I did see him once. English challenges are fun to watch, and looks like you're enjoying the Philippines as well. The best way to learn English is to speak it, especially if you have a native speaker to talk to that can help you. You just need to not get embarrassed or be afraid to make a mistake, we learn from our mistakes, and a native speaker knows it's not your 1st language and doesn't expect you to speak it perfectly. The more you speak it the easier it gets. As long as someone understands WHAT you are trying to say, then HOW you say is of no importance.

Your English is very good. My family never taught me much Spanish when I was little so I learn on my own and practice with family. Sometimes though I will be talking about stuff I don’t know a word for so my family will say “just say it in English” 😂😂😂 some examples include trying to say “cookie”: I will say “small, bread, with sugar and chocolate” or when I forgot how to say fish and seafood I said “meat of the water” 😂😂😂 don’t ever feel bad or embarrassed with your English it’s a learning process and is impressive. Sometimes it’s also good to be able to laugh about yourself a little too.
