This bike hasn't failed to impress Indian People. Habibi, check out the Dominar sales in Kerala and South India, 2nd highest selling motorcycle after Royal Enfield. Some of them, shifted their minds to buy Dominar instead of Royal Enfiled and other brand bikes.
The looks or profile of the bike is taken from Ducati Diavel & Kawasaki Z650.
Whatever is mentioned about the bike for city rides is completely wrong, if you are used to the bike; you can easily maneuver it within city traffics. I'm an owner of Dominar 400 2019UG, I use this bike for my daily commute to work.
2nd thing is that the mobile holder provided above the Main console, is to mount the mobile in landscape mode for GPS & Maps (For this please check the mount which is provided by BMW GS, Triumph Tiger same position).
The only issue which you will face in this bike is related to the rear brake, apart from that you can't find any other issues in the bike.
A complete beast in that price range.
I think Yezdi Roadster is better
@@mr.jarvisgaming3409 As per reviews it's good. But when Dominar was launched, at that time Yezdi was not available. Also still I will prefer Dominar over Yezdi because of it's looks and power. Whereas the Yezdi Roadster looks same like Classic from front and side and like Thunderbird from rear.

Personally I love my Dominar, the only thing I would have loved it to have only a little bit more power, like today I was overtaking a long truck at 110km/hr and it was slow to accelerate and the cars were mad behind me, but usually I try to avoid such situations.
Bro the problem is with your mindset actually not with the bike. This bike is such a strong tourer which no other bike can compete wd in the given price range. I appreciate Bajaj for making such a good machine 👌👌

I have a dominar and boy oh boy, I get the attention I seek. People do turn after hearing exhaust note. People ask about the bike and they see the bike with excitement and they do love it. So it's impressive, just not for you guys🤦
Dominor is not new in market it's launch in 2016 so obviously people already knows this is d400 or 250

It didn't fail. People are too lazy to think for themselves and go with popular preconceptions. My cousin has this and I can say with certainty that this is the best all around tourer below 5 lakhs. Meteor sure is more comfortable, but that's about it. This is so much more than being just comfortable.
I have purchased 2018 December model on January 2019 January (Around 20,000 discount) . Ran 56700kms till 2021 December...Trust me its a good machine for Cruising and Normal Commuting too. You'll get approx 25-30kmpl easily if u maintain it properly and on your riding style. Yes its kind of heVy but it wouldn't depress you bcz it helps to steady during high speed crushing and sudden braking.

I have crossed 5K KM I am totally impressed with dominar I haven't faced any issue till date..and the shifting has gone very smooth and engine is getting smoother I enjoy riding it daily It is best in this budget..

I didn’t fail to impress, this bike is not for masses, it’s a purpose driven product limited to people who are looking for adventure touring or highway touring. Plus the features and specs it offers in this price range is unmatched.

I own royalEnfield and i have ridden dominar. It is a really awesome bike. My next upgrade will be dominar but i am emotionally attached to my royalEnfield 😅😅

Dominar 400 is overall good touring bike i had D400 the first time it was launched and had good time with for almost. 3 years then sold it one main drawback was the service dealers who will always suggest changing of parts even if it's good as it is part of the periodical maintenance chart !

Yes, what he is saying is wrong. IF you are used to the bike, you can easily maneuver it within city traffic, I'm the owner of Dominar 2019UG. After buying this beast, i don't like to ride other below 300cc bikes.

@@letsgrowwithps I had been in Delhi and I didn't feel anything different or difficult to handle this bike over there.
FYI that mobile mount is at good point most of the dominar owner using at that position bcoz you won't get distracted from the road. Even i also made one mount and using at same position and also gave to many dominar riders. That's why they have provided at that location and while using map we use in portrait mode and it won't restrict your views for display console

Sir, the mobile mount you have made and used on your dominar, its wind visor is situated at some distance, that's why it is possible. Kindly go and check in the Dominar 400, 2022 Model distance between the new visor and that mount is not much so it is very difficult to mount even in landscape mode
I guess you already made your mind against the bike and asking the question accordingly.. Every bike has flaws however you have to appreciate the Bajaj fir such fantastic bike.

Bajaj Dominar is a bike which started the touring trend in India, it didn't impress Indian people is a wrong statement, yes weight is a issue but it is only matter unless you own this bike, when first time I purchased it in 2019 and I went to a trip of 1500 kms to Munsyari, Uttrakhand, I was very concerned about its weight, beleive me when I return back after 7 days to my home town heavy traffic I was driving it like crazy driver zig zag, cornering, intense breaking just as I was driving my Yamaza RXZ back in 2005, so weight is on your mind not on this bike but I higly recommened Bajaj to make some updates and launch a new version soon else it would be late since there is a lot of competition now, there are some coolest bikes available in market like Yezdi, Hunter, V Storm etc.
Auto expo me dikhne ke bad isko launch karne me Jada time laga diya , tab tak compititor aa gaya tha, yeh abhi tak value for money bike hai,
but India me log jo phele se chala aa raha usko h choose kar leta hai, kyuki fir usme resale value khojta hai
Bajaj's and Honda's maintenance costs are far better compared to the bikes in this price range. I have used RE bikes. The maintenance cost is high and the spare parts are of cheap quality, but if anyone wants a retro style bike, there is no better option than RE.

Love from Sikkim I had a 2017 model Dominar it was really good bike but one one thing I'm upset that rear suspension is really stiffer side can can't ride in hilly road like us there is no travel in suspension..

I have been riding dominar from last 6 months and around 6500 Km. It's awesome bike and with tremendous initial power and great braking system. Every bike has some pros and cons but dominar is best bike in this range and budget. Average is 31 kmpl in full traffic city riding.

Yes I use for daily commute to office although it was not recommended and for short trips around Pune city.
Mobile holder landscape orientation mein lgata hai mount mein. I have been using it like that and it has been working great.
I took my dominar from my younger bro and i love it. I am still trying to recover its engine as it was not maintained.

I own Dominar 2018. Fantastic bike. Don't spread false news. It impressed all over India and outside too. Plz watch Deepak Kamath videos and other xbhp members. They have ridden thousands of km with this bike.
I have the 2019 green color dominar 400 the color does not fade bro...and the average i am getting in city is 24 and in highway i get around 29...

Dominar 400 has for sure impressed lot of people. Now why people consider other bikes than this, first price is on higher end, second people will go for KTM or royal enfield because of brand value and their exclusive looks. One more reason(after discussing with friends), its heavy bike as well as height is also high. people with less than 5.8 will find it difficult, not normally but in case of of-road, sudden breaks, to control, as whole weight will come on one leg. So people often go for lighter bike ktm or low height enfield.
