how about pure manual lens like Samyang lens without any electrics contact? Are you still see red identification on the LCD screen when focus is correct? thanks
i set the focus guide to enabled and turned on focus peaking, but I do not get three little arrows. I only get the red highlights. Is there anything else that needs to be on as well? Does it matter that I have a laowa 90mm completely manual lens?
Good and useful tips! One thing, on my R7 the focus guides and peaking are only visible if I turn on Manual focusing. Half pressing the shutter while turning the focus ring makes no difference. Half press or don't half press, you can still focus, but no guides or peaking unless in MF..
Does anyone else suffer from the thing always wanting to loose focus? I track a bird taking off, and if there's a background with leaves, or a foreground with a phone pole, it will decide to focus on that instead. Animal tracking my a$$
Good info, but he speaks waaaaaaay too fast and skips over some of the menus that he goes to. It took me 25 minutes of constant pausing to get through the video
Exactly why they have C1 C2 C3 on top I have c1 for sports action 2 landscape and 3 for portrait work
Keep up the great work! Love the content
Thanks will do!

I did some digging and it only works with certain lens, so depending on what you have, you’ll have to flick the switch to go into MF
Thanks, solid information!
Glad it was helpful!
Great tips :) Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
What do I do my focus button won’t focus on anything and I’ve already tried resetting my settings for recording
I get mine on Monday. Thanks for the tips
Nice, have lots of fun!
Very helpful Jason, thank you so much!
Glad it was helpful!
Informative
Left active touch area better to free right thumb for other controlls ;0")
Nice tips thanks :)
Seems a very nice tutorial, I only wish you talked slower so overseas viewers could follow easier. Peace :)
Noted thanks!
There is a feature I love on the R5 that unfortunately is not on the R7: th-cam.com/video/kZXTn1i2A14/w-d-xo.html
The R7 can do what's in the video from everything I saw.

Too fast to understand and follow what he says.
You can turn on subtitles, and also set the playback speed to 75% or 50%
Turn the bloody music off, mate.
Judging by the rest of the video quality if this is the only issue this video is bloody great 🎉
Take care @JChen
@@allgaming4045 He speaks so fast and the music is so intrusive I couldn't really say what the quality was like.
That was not useful at all.
why this disturbing music... had to leave the presentation... sorry...
