- War Robots Gameplay of the Dagon Blight Setup. This is honestly probably the best mid-range build for the Dagon right now. While Tamers can do an incredible amount of damage and prevents you from healing, these weapons (Tamers) are scheduled to be nerfed down in the next update. Blight on the other hand received a +10% damage buff along with Hazard and Decay making them the perfect option not just for the Dagon but for many mid-range setups.

I still don't understand this buff… Blight, Hazard and Decay were strong before but then received a +10% damage buff? For those wondering… yes you can build these in Workshop now.
Yeah seemed super unnecessary. I honestly thought they were in danger of being nerfed. Now I think they will be nerfed later down the line to make way for new mid range weapons. Probably to weaker than they originally were.
@@bigbrainonimain9226 I'm still waiting for Toxin, Venom and Bane to be buffed. These were nerfed after release... not just once but I think twice which makes no sense either. Flamethrowers were stronger than the toxic weapons before they were even nerfed lol.
@@adrianchongpixo aren't very consistent with nerfs and buffs. They buff the radiation weapons but nerf the blast grenade weapons when they were arguably weaker?
@@bigbrainonimain9226 I think they base it on numbers - numbers as in not necessary what the weapon does but rather how many players are running it across the board. I know many players say it's all about making money but let's put that aside for a second. If you were hired as a 3rd party and knew nothing about the game, how would you define "imbalance"? For me if I was playing say Call of Duty or Valorant (btw I've never played these games but though they would be a good example), I would define balance by looking at all weapons in various categories. For example let's say we have an Assault Rifle - I would look to see who uses which Assault Rifle the most. There might be 5 main ones but which one is the most dominant when looking at the entire player pool - not just the top players but ALL players? Well… if there is a particular one then I know that is over-powered (without knowing anything about the game). I have a feeling Pixonic takes a very similar approach.

Those weapons have always been decent, but with 6 of them. That's gonna be pretty devastating😂

I'm currently running two Dagons in my line up. One frozen Dagon and the standard version but they're both mk3.
One one I'm running this very set up with shieldbreaker and seeker drone and the daredevil pilot skill. The other I'm running cudgels but without daredevil.
I find it can be hit and miss with Dagon. I've had games like this but I've also had games where I get wiped out pretty quick.
To be fair I think that's true of most bots and set ups though.
I also use the Adrian Pilot on Dagon and it works well for me, Not so brave as to use Daredevil though, That shield boost really comes in handy a lot.
Hey adrian do u have some sort of guide for pilot skills for some robots like luchador ravana fenrir etc? I reallu want to know what would be the best skills to put on them

Yes that pilot was named after me. I've been covering the game since 2015 (I believe I started around October/November 2014).

@user-ob2sj3il3f I know you asked this of Adrian but let me chip in - and Adrian can reply too. For me I like the magnetar setup really well - excellent 600m range and lockdown BUT can be better is the damage output. Any non meta bot - YES awesome. 95% you will come out with the kill. But Ocho and Curries - the build needs more 'burst damage' -- the Currie (which I also own and have 2 of them maxx'ed) has an 8 sec ability cooldown and if pilot skill chosen for 'Wonder Worker' it heals damage back within 8 second cycles. So need strong very fast DPS to blow it up for the kill otherwise it's an endless cycle of shoot and it heals. So will try this on my spare Dagon as this seems more a DPS build.

Adrian you should have used otto pilot to increase dpm. Over time that 35% increased fire rate should be more than a small 5% extra damage per shot. So overall otto would be a better damage increase.
I didn't use Otto because these weapons already fire so fast. I know you mentioned they would do more damage over time but with so much firepower, most of my targets were dead within 2-3 clips. My pilot will give that increased damage the minute I fire so it's instant.
Blight/Hazard/Decay are Awesome Weapons 😎💪

After seeing this game play I want the dagon so bad now.
Suprised you didnt run the otto pilot. He is quite nice with the blights.
Otto speeds up the rate of fire but Blight already fire fast. Someone mentioned that over time I'd do more damage with that pilot but the thing is... there isn't really "over time" with this build as most players are dead within 2-3 salvos. I rather have my own pilot where weapon damage is +5% making the first hit deadlier. Hope this makes sense.

I run this build and it works very well.
Most likely, they are going to give those weapons a slower fire rate soon, which will truly suck.
They buffed the Radiation weapons because they were added to the workshop but Hazards are truly amazing on the Ultimate Ares

Thanks so much! Curie with Glacier? That's an interesting combo. It doesn't really have sustained damage. I know the Puncher setup is extremely effective. Puncher and Hammer - if you haven't tried this out and have the weapons it's worth running.
Can we run khepri with blight in this current meta
In the first match the iron star guy had a really rough day yesterday . He kept being in my matches as a red and I just crushed his randoms like 3-4 times in a row. He’s an excellent player but the algorithm was against him.
Like I said before - pay2lose. You see even if you have all meta and even if your hangar was maxed out, it doesn't necessarily mean you'll win. When match making has determined you've been winning too much it will set you up to lose. Trust me I've been as low as 32% I think on my BR Account before. Some days are just brutal lol.

I have it but for the meta it was difficult to use it
I wish they would buff the rust rockets back up to at least be playable again. At least give them the same fire rate as the magnums.
Buffing them would only make them meta again, then people would complain, again
They are awful, I tryed them yesterday on loki after a long time of not using them. Swapped it back to spears very next match. They fire soooo slow. In the angler meta they were good.

Build it in Workshop. Blight, Hazard and Decay can now be built in Workshop.
Once again i think pixonic forgot the dagon was a thing when they buffed the blights this build is insane that third salvo damage is nuts

With all due respect,this buff was needed for those weapons.
All weapons received 10,20,30% blank buff, you know what im about. Those weapons rust rocket and maybe im missing some, where exclude from any buff's.
Now having an older weapon, redeemer flames tarans list can go on, performing exactly maybe better then *new* weapons at the time don't make sense. 10% damage buff is nothing special, those weapons where nerfed,2nd 3rd shot was lowered in damage. This buff is a compensation if you like, nothing else.
I am confused about the way that you are locking down enemies with this great build. As far as I know, neither the blight weapon, the Dagon, nor the drone provide that ability. Is it your pilot? Or am I missing something? You mentioned it multiple times in this video but I can’t figure out how you are doing it. Can you help a brother out?
Okay, sorry, I figured it out. Unstable Conduit-I have used it many times on many robots but more for the additional damage and repair. I’ve been completely unaware of that feature of the module. This is super helpful. What a monster build! Thanks for all the great content you post-always inspirational and I always learn something that I can apply to my own game play-Thanks Adrian!

Unstable Conduit. With this recent update Unstable Conduit provides not only healing and more damage but also lock-down. It actually says it in the description as well. Hope this helps!

Unstable Conduit. They changed Unstable Conduit to where you now not only get increased damage, healing but also lockdown.
Hmm I wonder why they buffed the weapons while it's game breaking especially your running that setup
Players like telling me Pixonic only nerfs old weapons and never buffs them so that players just spend. What players don't realize is that Pixonic can buff any weapon to extreme levels and make money off it. They could literally take the Thunder and turn it into the best close range brawler weapon tomorrow if they wanted - they won't though because it's the cheapest weapon to acquire and comes already equipped on many setups.
@@adrianchong lynx glory is a perfect example, in fact they had to nerf Glory a few months ago lol

dagon will defo get speed shield and hp nerf will see how it performs after nerf
This buff makes me think they randomly give 10% buffs so it looks like they are boosting old weapons and doing something good (they are not really).
Edit: Does the dagon just make almost any weapon op or are blights just this op?

I said that pixonic buffs random older weapons by a small amount instead of giving them big buffs they truly need so it looks like they are making old weapons better when really they are not.
Sting for example got a small damage buff manni even made a video on it and guess what it's still basically usseles, skadi also still basically doesn't do damage.
The only way to make thease older weapons do damage is to put them on a dagon/typhon/crisis, max them out and give them 5 different kinds of damage buffs, something a f2p player can't really do.
Edit: Bdw I said pixonic randomly gives 10% buffs beacause the radiation weapons really didn't need it they were alredy strong wich us good and a weapon like bane could use it more.

Hey Adrian, idk if y already know this or not but in the next update the new battleship "avalon" will bteak the game as it extends the repairable hp by 20% which if u combine with durability extender turret it will result in an unkillable titans and bots .i think it will be more game-breaking than new titans or weapons
I think this is actually why they came out with Rust weapons. It's possible we might see Rust weapons for Titans soon. If you think about it… rust weapons prevent you from healing so to have that in the game even with Avalon being able to heal that much it won't really matter since you can't heal up if you're under the rust effect.
Those weapons are great... but for the life of me, I seriously suck at using those for some reason. Its the rhythm I think, 123 123 123 reload... just doesn't jive well with me.
I was like that with the frag shotguns but I've learned how to use them.
Adrian, do you have a Extermination tutorial? The only thing exterminated in that damn mode is me 😅
No but I should look into it. Honestly the only time I've done Extermination was when I needed resources for my Baby Account. It's an easy 200 Platinum a week which is why I have over 4000 on my Baby Account.
@@adrianchongI was able to do stage 3 to plat with angler and fenrir before and now my hanger us way better so its 450 plat a week a guranteed superchest a season and ton of gold with silver to level up
I agree that you might need to look into making stage 4 and 5 more accessible with relatively f2p friendly stuff (except the Korean lasers pls cause nobody will lvl them just for extermination)
Daredevil goes perfect with dagon, replaces a pretty useless robot ability
pixo buffs an already powerful weapon and decides to nerf ksiphos 30% because of dagon, rolling in my seat laughing rn
Honestly even if they did nothing to those weapons (Ksiphos) the Blight would outperform them. Blight not only has the range but an insanely short reload when compared to other weapons.
Now we have a competition between magnetar and blight weapon.
In my opinion there is no competition. I will go with Blight because of it's reload time.

Nope. I don't really think Otto is needed since these weapons already fire so fast. Otto increases the rate of fire.

Although the bot does a lot of damage because you have 6 Blights it's actually not just Dagon. I could run these weapons on Behemoth, Crisis, Typhon, probably Khepri and Blitz too if we're looking at other variants of the Radiation weapons and they'll be deadly. I've alredy run these weapons on Typhon and was wiping out players just like this Dagon.

I have only 3 Blights ..
By the time I get both builds up to snuff ( Blight & Magnetar ) ,
