Good ole Donner's Pass in California. I've seen many inexperienced drivers burn their brakes up going down it. And fully loaded in a Governed truck going up it, takes forever and a day to going up. Use to make that run from Michigan to Sac and back.

I cant wait, or at least wish this game would add CB functions, like in the old 18 Wheels of Steel games. ask for things like weather reports, police activity, general chatter and stuff it brought a good bit of life to your game... along with schedueling you AI workers, but that was a game where certain loads were always available on certain days at certain times, unlike this game. I just wish I could avoid my workers having to drive back to the hometown with no load coming back, and wasting money/time
shoot i had to double clutch my truck in real life these past 2 weeks to help get the clutch pedal unstuck. so am off work today because i need a fuel tank strap and clutch pedal adjustment and possible wiring issue on the left taillamp. but since i was close to the terminal and had no other freight said screw it get the truck checked out and fixed.
i agree with you jeff and i know im a small channel but im not new to gaming,,been gaming when the computer disk was bigger than your tv screen,,,thees guys are making something that is going to be bigger in my thinking than gta5,, but it will take every one on here to be understanding on how it works,,thank you guys and jeff for listening to me,,love ya guys
My neck of the woods! Made the trip from Winnemucca,NV to Boise,ID so many times over a 6 year span. Very cool to see tiny towns like McDermott,NV and Jordan Valley,Or in the game. Accurate for the most part. Questionable on other parts. But all in all.... Great video. Had fun watching it.

I did see the Thrustmaster tweet. Good exposure. Man, your game looks good. I'm happy with my game/pc grafically, but. When i read your specs, i know where the difference is at lol I still got some of that 'flickering' with distant objects and light.
Anything over 2000 RPM really shortens the life of the engine. it's better to shift around 1700. I know this is a Sim, Just speaking from IRL experience. :)
Agreed, I always shifted at around 1300 - 1500 RPM IRL. For me though it seems like the trucks in game are pretty powerful even under a really heavy load, I still find myself overrevving in game quite often because I'm not used to accelerating as fast as it seems to in this game

What you need: 175g/6oz Odlums Cream Plain Flour 75g/3oz Plain Chocolate (min 70% cocoa) 200g/7oz Butter 175g/6oz Shamrock Golden Caster Sugar 3 Large Eggs 1 teaspoon Baking Powder 100g packet Shamrock Ground Almonds 2 tablespoons Cocoa, sieved 2 tablespoons Milk 1 teaspoon Goodall's Vanilla Essence For Chocolate Cream 140ml Cream 175g/6oz Plain Chocolate (min 70% cocoa) How to: Preheat oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas 5. Lightly grease and base line a 23cm/9" deep sandwich tin. Break the chocolate into a heatproof bowl. Add 25g/1oz of the butter and stand bowl over a pan of hot water until chocolate has melted. Meanwhile put the remaining butter, sugar, eggs, flour, baking powder, ground almonds, cocoa, milk and essence into a large bowl and beat until smooth and creamy. Add the melted chocolate and gently stir into the mixture. Transfer to the prepared tin and level the top. Bake for about 40 minutes until risen and the surface feels firm to the touch. You will find the T3PA pedals break quickly and then the excess weight makes them a great anchor for a small boat. I went thru two T3PA Pro's and one Add On in a year. Went back to my G27 pedals and have 5 years on them with some easy cleaning. Trying to remove, line up and re-install all the tiny screws on the Pro's is frustrating, especially since even if you get it to work again they break again quickly. Sure they have a nice feel and are more accurate IF they work. Next I plan on switching to Fanatec CSL Elites on my T500.

Hey Jeff, as always I love your content. :) Just thought I'd let you know, the latest patch 1.35 is in an experimental beta and let me tell you, Arizona looks awesome thanks to Natvander making signs for the state. The other amazing features for the patch are incredible as hell. Just be careful, not all mods currently work on the patch.
actually i float shift all the timee no grind sound but when i do mess up it grinds. Just get it into gear quicker don't let your rpms drop that much! hope this helps
My old computer burned up, so I got a new one very much like my old computer only 8 years difference.. I had ATS backed up, but it would not accept my Thrust Master Steering Wheel & Petals... I had to uninstall ATS and start over again.. Down side, I was a year into the game, had all my garages full, and a few million bucks in the bank.... The good part, my Steering Wheel is working now better than before, but it does suck starting out from scratch. I have to borrow money to buy a straight cab, but even though Steam charged me for the download, they gave me a credit the very next day as I had everything ATS offered in the way of Heavy haul, additional states, etc....
@@teaaspilled5952 They will give you their web sight for their wheel, then you pick out the one you have from about 50 other wheels... Then a new page will come up, and you click on the box to the right of your wheel and it should down load all the drivers, etc....If you can see the wheel is working, but perhaps the brake petal is moving the steering wheel, then you will have to do like me and delete ATS and reinstall it and start from scratch... I was able to load the Thurst Master on my old computer and continue on with the game, but when I got a new computer after doing everything I could think of, I reinstalled ATS and now it works fine. In a short time I will have my own stripped down day cab paid for, but for now I still owe the bank another $18,000.00 and it's mine, my garages are empty and my truck is plain, but I'm sure I'll get back to what I had in a few months.

Don't drop a gear at the base of the hill, lug er down to about 1200 RPM and drop a gear or split it.

When SCS develops Idaho in the game, I think they should have the blue field in Boise since it's unique there
I work at a blue beacon, we wash prime INC trailers all the time! Jeff you should add a beacon to the ATS for that TRUE trucker experience

I have it down a lot, I am using new pedals so it's way different than the load cell I used to have.
