I get where you are coming from Jeff, doing the same think consecutively for a long time does wear you out eventually. Honestly, the variety on your channel has kept me here everyday for 2 years. Can't wait for X-Plane to return and what ever else you start in the coming weeks!
To Install Coast to Coast, look up Coast to Coast ATS then download Put the file you downloaded into the “mods” folder in Documents > American Truck Simulator. Extract the file if it’s a ZIP or RAR. While in game, before continuing into your profile, click mod manager and double click Coast to Coast. Confirm and congratulations.
Hey Jeff been watching you for a while and i have a driving tip for ya. When you pull up to a stop sign don't turn to the left or right and preempt the turn. Pull up straight and pull straight out then turn in making a button hook. If you are going right hug the left line and vise versa before you turn. Go all the way out then turn it. Best way to turn one of them long hood petes and keeps them trailers off the curb. I drive a 389 every day pulling 53 footers.
I was heading up I-65N in Indiana one night when I was working for Foodliner we pulled Fructose products. That night Indiana was having bad storms with 60-90mph wind gust and I past three trucks that were sitting on their sides just off the shoulder. The thing with a tanker it is nice and round so that wind went around it I did feel it bad on the truck but I felt nothing on the tanker. One thing with a food tanker there is no baffles in them so you get the surge when coming to a stop or braking. The weird thing was having to shift up going up a hill because the surge would hit the front of the tank after downshifting and speed you up.
Greetings from West Virginia! Would love to see a trip through my state once it’s added, maybe carrying some coal or chemicals from the chemical valley here in Charleston. Those twisty mountain roads could be fun
I've been burning through the playlist the last two weeks, and I have to say that this is the video I've been looking forward to most of all. 18 years in Orlando and I have wanted to see how it handles actual toll roads (mods aside) Thank you for entertaining me for the last few weeks, at work and at home!
I live in Indiana about to be moving to Orlando, gotta drive through Atlanta to get to Orlando and I do say, the accuracy of this is insane for a game.
For your set up. When the spot you want to back into is beside your driver door, go toward until the airline hook ups on the next trailer are even with where your shoulder would be, then turn 90° right soon as you are turned the complete 90° turn left °90 and you should be perfect for a alley dock. Try it. I drive semi in real life. That's how I set up
Hello Comrade Jeff. I trust you are keeping up hard work as greatest trucker? Yes? Then you and your family will be moved to a better apartment. This will come with increased mortgage but the Ministry of Labor is sure you will be able to pay. Do not fail me. Glory to American Truck Simulator.
Once in Florida there was a random car on fire. Just on the side, not even on the shoulder, just on the side blazing. The fire could touch the underside of the bridge if you put it under it. Next day same freeway, just the shell of the damn thing was there. I think they were in the middle of towing it too.
Love your DOJ videos but as a pilot, I will aprecciate your vids of flight simulation. There is an Airbus of Flight Factor about to launch for XPL 11. Maybe it would be interesting you take a look.
Hey Jeff you should get into DCS: World if yiu want to do flight sim. Its free to play and you can buy aircraft and stuff. The new update looks amazing. I think you would really like it
This is surprisingly accurate because I live in Atlanta and it is very accurate. Props to the creators, but normally trucks don't go through the downtown connector unless if it's a local delivery
So I am LITERALLY laying in my bunk (2016 Freightliner Cascadia) watching you play a game about what I do for real. Lol love your sim videos. If possible can you put out a schedule of what videos and when? Maybe Tuesday’s is Truck Sim, Thursday is GTA sort of???
I assume when more things are added into doj like the money mod and the property mods he will come back. I mean it's not like he hates doj, he just needs a refresher. Hallow is doing the same thing.
Jeff I love all ur vids this, x plane , and doj and I have a suggestion u should put like a number in the corner so we know what gear your in when ur driving
Dang it's pretty close to irl... I'm a prime driver who frequently goes GA to FL and it makes me laugh when I see the sunset look exactly how it does for me when I head out
I installed the coast to coast mod and I activated it. But for some reason the only states that where available are the games original states. I'm so annoyed. I want to get all the states so bad!
Being a former Florida native, Interstate 10 runs Jacksonville to Pensacola, Interstate 4 was most likely the highway coming onto the Florida Turnpike which runs into 75 at Wildwood, hopefully that helped you out, great videos as always.
I wish the coast to coast map is in steam workshop because I really hate to do confusing stuff just to install a mod and everytime I try to install it, it doesn't work and I had to pay for it to install it :(
it's very sad to hear u not playing doj much anymore i really loved your doj ep espically live stream when u and buggs would play togther u guys alway made it funny and seemed u guys had alot of fun just now that your not playing doj as much u and buggs won't have as many videos toghther
Hey jeff. I seen my brother use that mod and i was actually very amazed. Especially around the turnpike and such. I live near the area where the turnpike enters montverde.
What I used to do when switching between sim equipment and workstation mode was I had all my flightsticks and pedal boxes, etc, pre-plugged into a USB 6 port hub and just slapped that into the back (this was before USB ports were showing up on the front mind you). Made it really plug-and-play as intended, though recalibrating the stick and 19 hat buttons was a pain.
Oh also i felt like i was watching bugs play gta on the turnpike heading towards 4wheel parts and saw a dude cutting in and out of traffic on a Kawasaki. He was going like 120 while we were going about 70 in our red explorer. It was just like doj...
Lol Jeff I from Oregon it sounds like oregone without e. It ok lot of people miss say it if there not from the state. Enjoy watching your videos thanks for great content and keeping me entertained.
commonnerfer SCS is doing it as a state by state basis as long as people are willing to pay. Many more states will be paid DLC. We might get a few free ones mixed in, but most will be chargeable.
They're also planning on doing limited expansion into Mexico and Canada, which will be pretty cool. I just got New Mexico on sale, and I can't wait to play it...
You inspired me to get this game I am getting a steering wheel and gas pedal for pc I have one but I don’t know how to set it up because it is 2 years old
I live in ga I'm about an hour and half away from Atlanta I hate going there I used to go there everyday for work be there all week restoring power poles I live in Warner robins and i used to live in macon lol
@@jonathonpate2383 its not on the workshop tough. You have to download it and install it manually (install very loosely used here, its just copying a file in the mod folder)
I feel you about DOJ and honestly, I've been feeling the same way. I used to get super excited about DOJ videos and I'd watch yours, Buggs, and Polecat's with glee. Now I find myself looking for other stuff because I'm just burnt out on it. And if I'm feeling this way from watching I can't imagine what it's like when you're doing it hours upon hours each day. That being said I am super stoked for iRacing and can't wait until you get your XP11 set up and running.
Used to live in Sarasota, Florida. Lived there almost 21 years. Some things I miss about Florida and some I don't. Though if had the chance to move back I would.
We need more X-Plane! Please I miss that series to death! And you should do a new series of plane spotting at different Florida airports like Orlando int, Miami, Tampa, Ft.laughterdale, Sarasota, Ft.Meyers, etc.
i have this mod on ats and what i do is haul dale's hauler around America going to each MENCS track by the 2018 schedule and it's fun. Love your videos Jeff keep rising to the top.
The absence of traffic and 2 lanes in Atlanta made me laugh so hard. It doesn’t matter what time of day it is you are sitting in traffic. 😂
They need to simulate I-24 between Chattanooga and Nashville,TN with the curves and the mountain pass at Monteagle.
I get where you are coming from Jeff, doing the same think consecutively for a long time does wear you out eventually. Honestly, the variety on your channel has kept me here everyday for 2 years. Can't wait for X-Plane to return and what ever else you start in the coming weeks!
Ah, yes. Driven this route in real life countless times. 8 hours of fun.
No more DOJ? I get it, but I'm gonna really miss those vids. My favorite thing you do.
dftns19 he’s still in it
I love this and Euro Truck Sim...probably the most relaxing games ever made!

Watching this in the Atlanta airport after a flight from Orlando...
“This is what we want, Florida Turnpike baby”
Said no Floridian ever

As a Floridian, calling them “the 4” and “the 95” immediately brand you as an out-of-stater. We say “I-4” and either “I-95” or just “95”.
LOL

Is it like the whole city if it is can u do a free drive around it and if the cnn HQ is there?
The mod forgot the mandatory Agricultural Inspection Station and the Weigh Station literally 5 miles apart on the border.
Key West to Jacksonville would be a cool trip for a future episode Jeff.
Thanks for all the info Jeff for the mods and such. BTW it's clear to many of us why you are taking a LOA from Doj. With you all the way..

Haven't used it in ... years i guess.
