what happens if you put something on the top of the ikea cabinet without the glass on top of it? does it explode? does the universe reset?
It scratches.... No explosions

The cabinet gets mad, smacks you, and leaves never to be seen again.
Next time stick the rubber adhesives to the glass so their is no need for measurement and you can move it to your liking.
