    This is exciting to see. Question: where do you get your birds from?
    I grew up with all these finches having an aviary (actually 3) my dad built in Southern Cal. We of course didn't have the weather to contend with. Now I'm in Portland OR, and your channel / videos are an inspiration. Someday I'd like to get a TuffShed and adapt it for indoor / outdoor flight aviary. Your happiness releasing them made, and the automatic mister, made remember all the fun I had with these little guys growing up. We had live eucalyptus, new zealand tea trees, manzantias and fountain grass for plants. We had, gouldians, lavendars, parrot finches, grenadiers, masked grass finches, diamond firetails, star finches, owl finches, Button quails (named Dan & Marilyn after our then dubious vice president and wife). So much fun. My two favorite species were the violet eared waxbill and black cheeked waxbill. Bravo!

      Wow what a collection you had- and sounds like a fabulous set up!! Most of my birds are imported from European breeders, they are not easy to come by in the US.

      I sometimes wish I was interested in something easier or at least a better fit for our climate here like Australian species, but no….

    Hello I love your TH-cam channel ! I have been keeping up with the purple grenadiers you are breeding. I currently have 2 males and would love nothing more to find them some females. By any chance do you have any available?

      Thank you, I am sorry, I don’t. Your best bet might be to check the various social media groups. A search on PG will identify who is working with the species.

    Love all of your videos. It has only just occurred to me that you don’t seem to have any wire on your roof. Is your roof just the plastic or is it reinforced. What happens if it blows off or breaks, will you lose your birds?

    • @Echosaviary
      @Echosaviary  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! That is true, no wire so in theory if it were to blow of break, I would be very unhappy. Each panel is 1/2” thick plexiglass and very strong. They each weigh about 95 lbs and are locked into the frame of the aviary so it would be a bad day if it all came apart

      @@Echosaviary Thanks, that sounds really strong. I wish I had done something like that as the wire is quite lovely. Keep up the good work making these wonderful inspiring videos, you and your birds are truly amazing.

    What was the temperature in the aviary when you put the birds in? Sorry if I missed it.

    • @Echosaviary
