I play this game with my friend before to the point that we became too good at it that we can only defeat each other if : any of us is out of chakra or character one used is too op for versus to counter(Old Temari, Old Shikamaru, or Old Sakura). Using ultimate is also hard that we need to bounce the character while it's out of chakra so it can't dodge and even if the ultimate is activated we both can do 8-14 interference button mash. Good old days
Technically it already has. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3 is called “Naruto Shippūden: Narutimetto accel 3” in Japan. Ultimate Ninja 4 and 5 are Accel 1 and 2 respectively. A true non-storm console sequel would be great though. Even a remastered collection would be amazing, since Storm has overshadowed the OG series.
Naruto Ultimate Ninja Series from PS2 Era will always have a special place in my heart and soul, these are the most unique Naruto games for me, only Storm 1 was coming close to these Masterpiece Naruto games, especially from gameplay features perspective, I don't know exactly why, but for me, Naruto Ultimate Ninja Series from PS2 Era are so nostalgic, unique and divine at the same time, I have so many memories during my childhood by playing these Unique Naruto games, Naruto games from PS2 Era was always very close to the anime itself because of the unique vibe and charm☯️
I honestly think the ultimates are way better and more character focused than any ultimate storm game including naruto storm connections...yup I said it.
Ultimate Ninja 4 and 5 definitely seem like the cream of the crop of the series, they seem awesome! I've read a lot about a patch that's been worked in for Ultimate Ninja 5 to bring the PAL version up to 60 fps, and while the patch doesn't seem perfect, it's hopeful that with time modders can bring the English version of this game to to the standards it deserves.
I like spending times hunting wooden dolls on this game cause when i was a kid internet was so hard to accecess and i dont even have a wifi so the only thing i can do is just do it on my own but still i couldnt get Classic Sasuke and Minato they are so freakin hard
I've only played Ultima ninja 5 in the ultimate ninja series and I enjoyed it a lot. And yeah it was a really mashy game, the story mode seemed repetitive, but that was the only issue I had with it. I wish they'd give Itachi and Kisame a team ultimate in Ninja Storm series
PAL version for UN in general are garbage, slowed down gameplay, glitched techniques with camera bugs, less FPS also means some combos literally just stop working like they should. Imo UN4 is the best Naruto game of the PS2 era, calling this game as smashy is just dumb when it has a lot of tech like kunai cancels, guard break cancels, "infinite combos", etc.
He meant that it's hard to do full combos when the support bar charges up so fast that the opponent can cancel your combo often using a support character

UN4 was my first Naruto game ever and i played it almost everyday so i always viewed that one as my favorite

I had the narutimate accel 2 which is the Japanese version and was only able to find classic Sasuke after watching TH-cam walkthroughs
