GREAT video! They're getting better and better! Those shots of the bow breaking the waves followed by the beautiful stern shots were breathtaking. I love that short, forced micro smile the Chef fired off at you in the galley . . . Made me laugh. You two are great fun to follow. Can't wait for the next one!
Another S/V Quetzal? Very nice boat and very nice video. I've spent a couple of weeks on John's boat, which is a 47' Kaufman. I'm wondering if you've run across him. In particular, I've done the passage from St. Thomas to Annapolis, so similar to the route you were sailing (but without the interim stops.) Again, very nice video.
I know what you mean about the electrical component of squalls. I was crewing on a Lecomte Northeast 38 off the coast of New Jersey on our way to New Rochelle, Ny when we got hit by a squall with lots of lightning. We had a strike really close to the boat while I was on watch, felt like the boat jumped 5 feet in the air. Captain and others found me in fetal position on the cockpit sole thinking I’d been hit. Nope just scared s#!tless.
Absolutely gorgeous yacht and dosnt she sail beautifully. Thanks for sharing 🇦🇺🌈⛵
Thanks for the lovely compliments and for watching. ❤️
My father-in-law has a 1984 34’ Seasprite as well, based out of Maine. Just found your vlog and new subscriber. Fun to watch, and continue to Learn.
Another great video. I always look forward to your stuff!
Thanks Chuck
Great video. The bow shot was awesome
Thanks for watching!
Fair winds Skipper and Ms Liz! I missed you guys while you were in St Augustine!! Good luck with the refit...I am still at my own refit!
Thanks Gary!
Amazing to watch the beating motion of this boat. And another great video.
Thanks for watching!
Great Video! Monohulls rule!
Indeed! Hope all is well with Contigo and Crew!
You are one fast sailing skipper of a beautiful yacht! Love the sound track. Keep filming!
Thanks George!
Nice job! Fun to follow along.
Cheers Matt!

Hi Bob! Thanks for watching! Yes, the Chef has a special sense of humor!

We shared an anchorage with the lesser Quetzal (🤣) a couple years back in Martinique. Thanks for watching!
That is how we like it here in Norway - 30 KTS and steady as she goes....
It seems if you really want to get somewhere sailing then 30kts is just par for the course.
Great sail, thanks for taking us along. What kind of shifts do you and your first mate take as far as sleeping and sailing threw the night?
She takes 8pm to Midnight. I take Midnight to 4am and often just let her sleep until the sun comes up.
Is this a cabo 38?
Cabo Rico 56 Hull #2 of 2 Built
@@TheCorsair I thought it looked huge.
Eating Catamaran with the bread of perversity….a sandwich for Quetzal.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 and for dessert?? Tracy’s Date Brownies!
Great but wrong music for the smooth water part of sailing
I’m not a professional
