Fun to watch you guys play this course. I drive by this course everyday I go to work, but haven't gotten the opportunity to play it yet. Thanks for sharing your golf adventures!
Great video and series again...of course. True story, the only "hole in one" I've ever had was on a course similar to the Cradle, it goes around the clubhouse and parking lot of my local course, they call the "junior" course, but it is 18 holes all ranging from 50 to like 85 yards, but have some of the tiniest greens you will ever see (great for short game practice), I was working a Junior Tournament there and while waiting for players to come in my dad and I played a couple of the holes, it was almost dark, could barely see the pins, my ball one hopped into the hole, we thought it went over the green, but nope, it was in the hole. I have never counted it as a "true" hole in one due to it being on that "junior" course, still haven't had another one, I've been within inches twice, but nothing yet. Still a fun story to tell.
Love it. But I would love to see more on the food and social scene post golf round on these trips too. Recommendations for good spots to go after 18 on these trips. Just an idea.
More cities need to put those in for kids, women, and just anyone you would like to start learning the game. I wrote to my township about putting one in because they do green space land preservation and that would be so cool.
I really really want to play that course. If there was something like that near me, I'd be on it all the time. And congrats on the win, Frank! What drink did you go for in the end?
This series has re-affirmed my love for Pinehurst (even though I've never played it in person). Time to start saving for a trip!
