Correction: Tsunade had hemophobia. A hemophiliac is a person who has a blood disorder that prevents their blood from clotting, causing them to excessively bleed.
Those are different words. Phobia is the difference

People who think Tsunade was a bad Hokage have zero understanding of how hard being a leader actually is.
She allowed the village and most in it to perish. That is the definition of a bad hokage.

Orichimaru kinda had PTSD as well, but went a different route than Tsunade. He was afraid of death as well especially after seeing all the death and Tsunade's losses.

@@lumpyclouds9446 True. But Trauma is a very broad term. PTSD is a form of trauma. It is defined as "post traumatic stress disorder". Usually affecting people from war or abuse.
The reason I believe he had it is because he is affected by the death of Tsunade's brother & BF. He wasn't always afraid of death and used to embrace the idea in his childhood. But as the wars progressed, he and tsunade started showing symptoms of PTSD.
They're not alone either. Kakashi would fit PTSD signs as well but more of a shut down form. He isn't visibly showing it, but his social distancing and cold demeanor is a direct result in the war he fought in. He even stated its easier to be alone than to lose someone again. Even told sasuke everyone he loved was already dead. Obito could could be classed this way as well. Manic mentality do to the direct loss from a war.
Itachi shows direct signs of PTSD as well. Not just from the Uchiha massacre, but from the participation of the 3rd war as a child. He was helping a stone ninja and almost got cut down. He is withdrawn (granted even as kid) from everyone aside from sasuke. He, like Kakashi, detached from human connections.
PTSD can be seen very much in how ninjas cope with the fighting they participate in. Most seem normal, but a few do horrific things and it follows them.

We need a history episode for Manda, Gamabunta and Katsuyu. Wonder if those 3 have any inside jokes and interesting happenings about their contractees from coming in contact with each other in battles throughout the years and whatnot.

the scene that Tsunade cried silently over her bestfriend death was so heartbreaking. Knowing the hard decision she had made and she had to made orders afterwards, i bet it exhausted her so much.
and the most important thing was she did not betray the rules she established herself about Medic nin. She assisted the village during Pain destruction, tried to save as many as she could and protected the villagers corpses. She was the last standing kage when kages vs madara and still tried to save her comrades albeit her bisected body and low chakra, proved that she was a great ninja.
I believe Jiraya was the best person to send to Amegakure due to his expertise in infiltration
It was not a bad decision on Tsunade's part.
Plus not a single ninja could have solo fought pain and relayed a dying message that helped Naruto beat him later
It was just a tough decision and I do think if Jiraya at least had someone in the village with him like they just "happen" to stumble upon the same bar together kind of thing just keep tabs on eachother while it may have not saved Jiraya and couldve ended with 2 people dead instead of 1 it mightve been a better choice
wait… i just realised something, the curse tsunade says in on her necklace might be true because when naruto fights pain he almost dies and he is about to until the necklace BREAKS and after that he can use more of kurama and save himself, THEN he becomes hokage so that might be why he became hokage.

Tsunade's my favorite character from the entire Naruto franchise... even though she wasn't seen that much. She's so cool~
i will say that tsunade is a very good look into the ptsd side of being a shinobi, but you cant forget that kakashi ALSO had ptsd from rin. so there are 2 examples and i think there might be more.
Kakashi also lost his sensei minato. Obito died saving kakashi. His father also killed himself when he was a kid. Im not saying you are wrong by any means but he dealt with a lot besides rin and its crazy how solid he stayed.
lets also acknowledge that kakashi had training under the anbu black ops and was well trained with dealing with his emotions and extremely stressful situations although he did deal with losing alot of important people in his life he was equipped with dealing with that turmoil better than tsunade who didnt have that training at all to my knowledge.
@@nightsnipernick7388 losing loved ones doesn't equal PTSD. That's not how it works. Ptsd is a mental health condition that's triggered by a terrifying event that happened.
The person would have flashbacks, nightmares, severe anxiety, uncontrollable thoughts, panic attacks etc.
That's what PTSD means. Kakashi, Sasuke, Orochimaru etc dont have that. I know how it works cos I have PTSD..

Like she has never been of much use in the world of naruto.
Sure, we wouldn't have Naruto, but we wouldn't have lost Jiraiya, and sure we would've also lost Shikama- Oh wait, Sakura healed him because Tsunade was too weak to do so.
You have to remember something tho. Tsunade had completely depleted her Byakugo seal chakra against pain and the war happened not so long after- some months.
So her Byakugo seal was most definitely not at 100%
she never had it at 100% she was using it every day to keep her young appearance.

Tsunade uses a lot on that bucket to keep herself look young and accomplish daily task that she’d have about only half a glass to add into her pool of chakra. That’s why her seal isn’t as filled a reserve than how it used to after the Pain incident
also she had to use it to survive the teleportation
To be fair tsunade was working a lot for someone who was thrust into her position. Her intuition and abilities made sense for her being the hokage. She made alot of dope and great decisions. Very underrated
Tsunade wasn't the only character in naruto to have PTSD. Kakashi had PTSD when he killed Rin. His mind kept imagining Rin's blood was on his hand so Kakashi constantly washed his hand to get the blood off.
It also should be worth mentioning, that although she did faint and fall into a slight coma from the interaction with pain. Her and Shizune we're actually aware of Danzo's plotting. And her coma was prolonged to lure him out of the shadows.

It's really interesting seeing how different villages deal with trying to minimize war losses. Leaf: develop medical ninja corps. Sand: develop puppet corps. Rain: Akatsuki. Mist: Stay out of everyone's buisness.
Can you imagine looking at the woman who kept most of konoha alive against PAIN, the most incredible medic ever, the iconic sannin, and calling her bad.

i still can't believe that there are people who hate Tsunade as a Hokage. She has power on the Kage level, has enough experience in battle and in life to be a wise Hokage, and she's incredibly caring and loving towards her people. She's also lost so many people dearest to her, causing her to make decisions that benefit the village massively, and is responsible for a powerful future of Shinobi in her village.
The real life mythology and folk tales around the Saanin is really interesting too tbh.

Tsunade is a exceptionally written character.

Great video on the over view of Lady Tsunade's Legacy. In her Prime she was undoubtedly the strongest female and definitely up there as 3rd strongest hokage. Also in the 2nd War, Tsunade was also fighting in the war not only healing and countering Chiyo not only that Tsunade carried the 2nd war because Jiraiya literally left the war to train kids for 3 years. That's why without her the 2nd war would've been a disaster. Also I disagree, she did not make a mistake sending teams to stop Hidan & Kakuzu because they were heading towards Konoha and they already wiped out the monks so if Tsunade didn't send a group she would've put the village in danger with those two getting close to konoha and Asuma and the other Groups are shinobi, not everyone gets out alive during a mission it's part of life. One thing I wish you said was saying Tsunade telling Jiraiya not to go to to the rain and told him she would also go if in danger. People want to blame her because she's an easy target but they fail to realize it was jiraiya who killed jiraiya that's why her crying words were her real reaction towards jiraiya dying because she told him to wait until she made a plan. What I don't get is people making fun of the 5 Kage like Lady Tsunade because they couldn't stop a Edo Madara who had a Rinnengan, Wood style, Perfect Susanoo, All His Jutsus, unlimited chakara and wait he knew the way to reject the Edo Tensei Jutsu. Naruto and Anime Fans, every other Hokage would've died even if Hashirama, Tobirama, Minato, Hiruzen, and Kakashi were there instead of the 5 Kage... It would've been the same results and all would've actually died sooner because no one would've healed them because Hadhirama can only heal himself. I can say more but I already have a essay written but overall you did a great video explaining how Lady Tsunade is one of the best in the series. Definitely up there when talking about Greatest of All Time!

The fact that the necklace was good luck for Naruto and benefited him later, I think means tsunades brother wasn't a senju himself, thus why it was good for Tsunade and Naruto and not Dan and her brother

You know, the more I think about it, there is a lot of similarities between Boruto and Tsunade. Quarter Uzumaki, grandchildren of Hokage, trained by a Sarutobi, has a snake dude on their team, have powers relating to markings on their bodies, have a younger sibling that they are/were supsr protective over, and never wanted to become Hokage, although Tsunade did eventually agree to become a Hokage. I always thought that the Boruto Team 7 was more like the Sanin than the Naruto Team 7.
One of Tsunade parents have to be Half blood Senju and Uzumaki since y'know Haisrama and Mito are her Grandparents and tbh I think one of her parents would be full senju making tsundae 75 senju 25 Uzumaki

I still think kushina being direct lineage to Mito uzumaki is more likely than Minato being the son of Tsunade. Either way I'd be more than happy if they do eventually dive into the whole family tree of Naruto.

Who knows maybe Minato is tsunade's son, and kushina is mito's daughter. Wouldn't be the first case of "inner clan" relations 😂. Plus if Minato is tsunade's son, kushina would still be the grand daughter of Mito uzumaki due to marriage.

Mito if the theory is correct would be Naruto’s Great-Great Grandma and thus would share an average of 6.25% dna, however due to the distant relation with the Senju’s the percentage could be higher. Also, we aren’t sure on Tsunade’s other half of parentage or of Minato’s potential Father so the percentage could be even higher than what it is.

Hey correction she isn’t half Uzamaki , hashirama sinju wife was an Uzamaki meaning their child was half of each theirs son whom was a senju by name and mito was his mother but his wife unknown konoichi had tsunade , so she has 1 senju gran parent 1 Uzamaki , and 2 unknow grandparents , so she’s doing what she does with only a quarter of each

I'm pretty sure that Kakashi has PTSD also. There are scenes where he sees blood on his hands still from when he killed Rin. He's clearly upset and having visible trauma during these episodes.

Could you please explain more about the Karma Seal
The Karma seal is basically a mark that rewrites the vessel’s body with the Otsutsuki dna of the Otsutsuki that implanted it on them basically turning the vessels themselves into Otsutsukis still. The Karma Seal allows the vessel to get an enormous boost in strength, speed and power because it grants the users to access to 1000 years of the Otsutsuki combat experience abilities and it also allows the individual to use space time jutsu, and grants the users to absorb jutsus too still.

Didn’t kakashi get PTSD
Tsunade truly is the G.O.A.T of medical ninja. I know Sakura surpassed her in power and Hashirama's healing is superior but he only heals himself. I used to genuinely think she was the worst Hokage until I rewatched Naruto and released the unfavorable circumstances she was put in. She achieved so much throughout her lifetime and she survived until she passed on the mantle of Hokage.
This may be controversial, but Minato is the worst Hokage imo. The reason I say that is he was only Hokage for about a year and then he died. He didn't accomplish much for the village but at the very least he protected it. Hiruzen is definitely a contender for the worst Hokage though. Tsunade was a better Hokage than Hashirama was well imo. Hashirama wasn't horrible, but he had a lot of help from Tobirama when it came to decision making.

Yeah man, it was inconsiderate of Minato to die to the 9 tails to save his son, and the entire village from being destroyed by a Obito-Controlled Nine Tails. Smh, imagine not being able to solo both Obito and the Nine-tails while also having to protect the village as hokage, saving your wife and kid, then having to reseal the nine tails as it activatly tries to kill you. @@hike4082 yea i disagree on the part whrre u said she didnt do much ina year, after orochimaru attack the leaf was in shamble even the elder thought it couldnt be rebuild and the other villages could have attack them but they ddint bec tsunade was a hokage.The other kage didnt attak the leaf cause they know she is strong.she save everyone in pain arc even the death

I do not know how much sentience the 1st hokage’s necklace has but I believe that it picked up on the reincarnated ashura’s spirit and 1st hokage’s spirit inside Naruto’s body and that is why the necklace did not kill him
