Came across your page....amazing coin collection that you are blessed to have there. Congratulations on the recent acquisition of the rare 1916-D Mercury Dime. While I don’t want to sound like a pessimist, but I have to say that despite the Dansco albums being proudly American-made and commented in general for their quality, Dansco unfortunately still is like some other companies that do the same thing with poor planning on how to make pages for the amount of coins that just have these empty slots at the end. The fact that Dansco doesn’t space the slots in such a way that there is no empty spaces when the coin’s series ends at the end tells me that it is more about quantity over than quality for the “extra money” being spent on these albums, as I’ve noticed that they’re priced apparently higher than the other coin albums on the market. The extra unnecessary slot holes in the page after the end of the coin’s series run annoys me. It would also be helpful like those little slots at the edge of the pages so you can get the slides out with a grip of a finger and thumb too. Again, just my personal views - more importantly….nice elegant collection you have there!
The slipcases add a nice touch. Personally just purchased them for all my albums and feel it was the right decision. Wishing they made one for the currency album its a little bigger than the rest and to my knowledge there isn't a slipcase for that album that I can find.
@@Meow_Ag47 I agree completely. The slip cases really add a nice touch and some extra protection to the albums. I don’t have the Dansco currency album but would like to get one. Thanks for watching.
That was so nice to see your collection Loved it❤️👍. I just start collecting coins few for collection more that I needed the money being tired being broke. Lol. Came across a UK 2009, 20 Pence Coin in my daughter’s tchange she has been saving. It’s really a nice coin with a error which at least I have t found yet on any web. Error is double portrait of Queen Elizabeth on Obverse on top extra metal on her top of the nose (which is huge ) can be seen with naked eye. I haven’t yet graded since it was just 2 days ago came across. As well dont wanted to put it on websites or to anyone wanted to keep it private until finds a private buyer. Not online it has to be more than between 2-3 million easily. Any suggestions pleas reply. I don’t know how to contact you I’m not computer savvy . Lol
Great tour! Loved it! Really enjoy those danscos even though I don’t have any! 🤦♂️ I suppose it’s my collecting habits being the reason why. I’m more of a type collector than one who completes full sets of date and mintmark. I do have a completed Lincoln cent (excluding proofs) and am slowly working on the Rosie dimes, Jefferson nickels, and pre state quarters. Anyhow, great choice in sports teams by the way! 😉 Must be a fellow Angeleano! I’d love to see the rest of your 2 x 2 lighthouse albums and the currency albums! Be well
I been collecting coins of and on for about 40years? I get into it good then just quit for awhile. Well I am back into it hot and heavy again. By the way nice collection.
Donnie - mine sat in dirty dusty boxes in the basement for decades - including moving to a couple different houses. Took the lockdown to get me to pull the collection out and organize it properly. Glad I did. Thanks for watching.
Hunter Deardurff from what I understand Dansco moved their company from CA to WA a year or so ago which slowed down their production. Then the virus hit and shut them down again. I agree that it is hard to find their albums.
Thanks for the tour. My collection is mainly in the old blue Whitman books, which work, but the Dansco looks much nicer. Good choice. Either way, it’s fun to try to complete the sets.
How should Dansco albums be stored properly? I have a penny album 1909-2009 and I’m not sure how to properly store it... I have it in a good ziplock back with no air in it, should I keep it somewhere safer or better?
Adiyamyoshi - long term storage in a sealed plastic bag seems like it would offer some additional protection to your coins and Dansco album. As you see I also use slip covers on all my albums for extra protection. Most importantly any coin and album should be kept in an area with stable temp, humidity, airflow, & free from dust, smoke, grease and other pollutants. Thanks for watching.
Rich - thanks. Most of the coins have been passed down from each of my grandfathers. Others I have purchased myself but mostly in well circulated condition so not too terribly expensive. Thanks for watching
What's the difference between the PROOF coin albums and the the other cent album ? And why did you have to buy the Proof coins ? cant you find them in pocket change ? looking to start my collection like you ... thanks
David - the modern proof Lincoln cents are specially struck in a different process at the San Francisco mint than regular business strike coins which gives them a mirror finish or in some cases a frosted cameo finish. They were not intended for regular circulation. Sometimes you will find one that somehow got into circulation, but that is somewhat rare. If you are not interested in the proof coins, there is a Dansco Lincoln Cent album that does not have holes for the proof coins. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
I went through my collection and created an inventory of the (coins I have) in flips that are duplicates and (the coins I need) to complete books. I can share it with you if you want. Maybe we can trade coins to help fill books.

Bradlee - I agree with you comments about the albums. That said, I still think they are the best on the market. Thanks for watching.
I have the us type set book and absolutely love it! Hopefully it will be complete so I can pass it to my kids when I die
Well I’m sure your kids would prefer you share your interest in coins with them long before you die! Thanks for watching Zombie

Very nice collection. I use Dansco albums too. I bought uncirculated sets to fill them until they got too expensive.
I broke up a few uncirculated sets as well. Thanks for watching.
They're a good bunch! Gotta fill 'em all up now! I made some Dansco airtite albums for my Korean collections. I uploaded videos of them here to YT.
Mlovmo I’ll definitely check out your videos. Thanks for watching.
I’ve just graduated to dansco albums I have 7 now. I aspire to have collection like yours. Thanks for sharing.
Sam as you can tell I’m a big fan of the Dansco albums. Appreciate you watching.

Awesome collection of albums, very impressive thanks for sharing!
Thanks J Parker. I think the Danscos are great albums. Just checked out your channel. Some great content. New Sub.

Silver Surfer thanks. I will soon post a video of my foreign silver collection.
Love the Dansco albums they are the best that is what I use also great collection thanks for the view.
Thanks. Would like to see your collection if you post a video!

@@ScottUrbach Thanks and keep in touch Brother.
I will Scott.
Looks like a great collection, i hope dansco gets their production back up and going there are a few more i would like to get at some point.
Superneo123 I’m also looking for some additional albums when they get back up and running.
@@ScottUrbach what is up with Dansco? I have recently been looking for a nickel album and am having a lot of trouble. Is there a shortage?
Hunter Deardurff from what I understand Dansco moved their company from CA to WA a year or so ago which slowed down their production. Then the virus hit and shut them down again. I agree that it is hard to find their albums.
i like the color on dansco better than the whitman or the green littleton book. Got a nice collection going my friend.
Thanks Rick. I agree on the color and the quality is great. Just expensive and hard to find.

Matt Bunke I had a few nice Whitman albums before I changed everything over
Dansco albums are the best
James - I agree 100%. They are the only ones I use now for my collection. Thanks for watching.
Great Video!
would love to see more coin videos and those other beautiful albums
Thank you. Please take a look at the other coin videos I have posted. More to come!
Beautiful collection
Thank you Rodrigo.

How did you go about buying the single proof pennies? One at a time or in a group? These are holes I would like to fill in mine
Sam I searched eBay and bought most of them pretty much as a group. I think in two transactions.
Good job and well organised, how much you spend total for collection all coins.
Rich - thanks. Most of the coins have been passed down from each of my grandfathers. Others I have purchased myself but mostly in well circulated condition so not too terribly expensive. Thanks for watching

Great collection!
Thank you. I really like the Dansco albums.
I found some of the Jefferson Nickels that I have in my album from vending machines!
Great idea. Thanks
Do you have the Morgan dollar album?
Erik - I do not. I only have a few Morgan’s in my collection.

Have not traded with folks yet. Might be a good idea!
