lol ignore me repeatedly saying Garuda, I filmed that video back to back with this one. I was trying to get them done before I went out of town this week.
Ah, yes. Samurai Gyruda lol In all seriousness, I've been loving the Level bit. I found a 3D model, printed one out, and have been using it for the past month and a half. I had no idea it was unreleased lol Level has 3 main modes that allow for a large variety of strategies it can be used for. It's very adaptable and decently strong. Definitely one of my favorite bits. I'm waiting 'till Christmas to open mine (as a little gift to myself) lol
I love the way the bit moves from my testing i like 1-60 on samurai with level still has good stamina but better early game attacks and good end game stamina
I got my Samurai Saber yesterday, and I really love the overall aesthetics of the bey and the sword launcher grip. I think I'll swap the ratchet for probably 5-60, and keep the bit, because the bit does have a good potential it seems
haven’t gotten saber yet but love its design, a little sad it’s not as aggressive as i thought it would be due to the little tabs when it looses spin, but at least it has good stamina against defense and other attack types lol
went against this at a local last night, I was running scythe 460N close match saber was running out of stamina but flicked me to the extreme line and I self bursted 😭 Fun round tho
I've been seeing a lot of beytubers being a bit dismissive of the wings for the lack of locking (which, I think if they DID lock, then they'd be no different from a blade like Dran Dagger and be not really gimmicky), and while I may be completely wrong, I do have to wonder if people misunderstand them due to their expectations giving them a bias. I'm no physicist and don't really know how to test this idea, but I've been wondering if the hinging wings have a completely different effect than how I see everyone describe them, which is to change how Saber attacks over time, moving from a barrage to a smash as it loses speed. Instead, what if it functions more akin to free spinning rings? I know that blades like Silver Wolf dampen received force with their rings, who convert some of the received force into the separated components instead of the entire top taking the full force. While I don't think Saber's wings would be nearly as effective at mitigating hits like this, I could see them allowing the prominent point of Saber's edge that you point out strike more effectively (especially with more of a tilt as that spot on Saber is more pointed higher up, and said tilt would be engaging the third stage of Level), and make the exchange of force from a hit there tilted in Saber's favor instead of being an equivalent exchange between tops. Again, not a physicist, just spitballing here, but this feels like a more thoughtful gimmick implementation than a counterintuitive "It becomes a smash attacker (something that requires high torque) when it has lower rotation!"
@@Ixao the problem is the inertia that keeps the wings out isn’t stronger than a solid contact point so they just don’t end up doing much in terms of attack. These sorts of gimmicks have existed for decades and while cool they don’t functionally add much.
@nizumablader That's what made me wonder if they're meant more for parrying into counterhits than directly attacking. Though admittedly, while I think it is possible, the size of the wings probably doesn't make it terribly effective at it; I do think though that almost all the attacks from Saber come from the sword section of the blade's shape than the wings due to the lack of resistance like you say. It's just a matter of expectations, in my opinion.
My Samurai saber arrived yesterday. After some test, I kinda don't like the Level bit. Maybe its me skill issue or something, but I felt Level bit fit more for balance / stamina / defense bey. I found my self after launching, Samurai saber has difficulty maintaining on high speed mode. When it switch to lower speed mode, it essentially lose that round especially against stamina bey (I tested several rounds against stock Silver wolf, the Samurai saber just can't do anything). I'm moving the Level bit to other stamina bey, and insert something else for Samurai saber. Maybe Rush bit, because that's what Dran dagger (also barrage attack style) used.
I don’t have the new gimmick stadium and I haven’t got a chance to unbox samurai saber yet. That being said though in the gimmick stadium when the moving part is down does the middle rail stick up any? If so does the lower part catch the middle rail any? Like to give it a small dash while the middle is lowered? I don’t know if that made sense how i explained it
Dude you really shouldn't shoot HDR videos on your phone to share on TH-cam. It messes with dynamic range and color scheme of whole screen including comments section, notification bar etc if device supports HDR. For example comment section becomes yellowish instead of white. These videos shouldn't be HDR anyway. HDR is mostly for cinematic/artistic scenes, not regular TH-cam videos.
@nizumablader There is nothing with camera or quality. The problem is that HDR is on. If you have Iphone, you can try to go Settings -> Camera -> Record Video and somewhere at the bottom there should be a "HDR Video" toggle to turn it off. These HDR videos messes up with display brightness too. I've noticed that lots of your videos have HDR on. It would be so much better for your channel to not record with HDR.
I got 2 of these about to order a 3rd After I tested the mini blades against my knuckle, the blades kept a small gap between my knuckle and the bey my knuckle never made contact with the main part of the blade, I think this blade will be at home as a defensive type not an attack type.

i havent got mine yet, but i saw a someone use SS on Ball. he used it as a stamina type destablizer with those mini blades.
I've been testing Weiss Tiger 1-60 Level. It seems to have a strong matchup against Wizard Rod, but completely folds to Silver Wolf.

Level certainly has a unique movement pattern compared to the more predictable but crazy Attack / flat Bits. It doesn't go for wide orbits as much.

@@LucarioShirona for sure!
Saw a post saying to use Trans Point on Samurai Saber
Weird how the blades kind of "roll" against SilverWolf when Saber brushes up against it. Kinda seems disappointing as an attack blade though
agreed, I can see it as a defensive blade, maybe playing into it's upper atk could yield some results
We’re gonna run with this one 😎
What are your thoughts on the Level bit alone? What bey or combo do you think would work best with it?
