My theory on why they made defense types so lite in the beginning was so they could ricochet on to the X-Line for a counter attack but considering 1/4 of the stadium is a pocket and that all extreme dashes are targeted toward said ring out zone, they really shot themselves in the foot.
I saw a Video about a guy saying that defense seems to be centered around precise and powerfull angled launches. Talking about the bits TT labeled as Defense. And when I teste myself it felt like he was right. Idk i think it doesnt matter that much that the beys can get knocked away its not an anime. I think the strength of defense is that they can endure those knockbacks or even knock the opponent out of the way. I kind of like the way it works rn it just takes work. At least thats what I feel like. Maybe we will get even better bits or a super heavy defender but idk. I think i actually dont want that for defense xD
The only thing that I find confusing about Leon Crest is the direction of the claws. As a right spin bey, it doesn't make sense that the fangs are counterclockwise. I feel like this is really killing the beyblade's stamina.
I was hoping defense types would get a boost in meta viability with Leon Crest, since I like having multiple types of beys for different battles in my deck. I ordered one before I saw any videos outside of leaks, and so I'm excited for it to come in and do further testing. If Leon Crest performs better on Point than Wizard Rod, I may have to go that direction. If I do, I might put Rod on Glide to see how that stacks up.
I certainly see your case for putting Crest on point. Lots of pivots and dodges, avoiding many x dashes from Tyranno. I’ve been using LC on orb and it LOVES to get smashed against the wall, as much as it loves tanking hits and out spinning. Hexa was strangely bad on Crest, or at least the worst option when compared to the other stamina bits. I will certainly try point. Thank you for your video
I was fooling around with needle and dot. Dot just slightly angled and Needle with a stronger one and i had good results against Phoenix Wing on 3-60-R/LF and against Shark Edge 3-60LF and even against Dran Sword 3-60 R/LF. I dont have all my beys atm and I had to launch seperately but it seems like "defense" bits except for the GearNeedle bin it came with work pretty well.
@@MischbrotLPi found dot to be really good, however i think that after the bit is used too much the tip of dot getd worn down and isnt as great, thats what i found sadly
From a theory standpoint, I can't see why 7-60 would be easy to Burst - it has very little space between the Ratchet Arms meaning attack types should struggle to catch and hit them, and the arms themselves are very flat and wide.
@@nizumablader After a month of testing, and actually having it in hand, one thing nothing only mentions is that one of the Arms is very much larger than the others. It's not as drastic as 1-X0 or 2-X0 but it's a similar issue. Edit: I think this video of yours is one of the few places I've seen mention that one Arm is bigger lol
Weirdly in my testing (only have Hasbro stadium which may be why) pheonix on rush is the true nemisis for my crest. I can fairly consistently beat other beys, even rod on occasion. But pheonix rush is always a struggle to beat
Ive had 7-60 burst from DS 3-60 T, DB 5-60&1-60 F and Keel shark 4-60 HT Also have had terrible results with Crest on 7-60 B&H but really good results with O and HN
From what I heard, it's because of the white part of the ratchet not holding on to the bit like normal. Apparently when the bit is turned, the normal click sound isn't there, and the bit is spinning loosely
After doing some research; I found that 7-60 is the best for a Gale Wyvern: Stamina build! However, I'm still narrowing down bits; do you think Free-Ball or Disk-Ball is better for the combo?
I love defence types ever since i was a kid back in metal fight, I never played X since defence is bad, but i hope i can play it now.(but burst is still the best imo)
Nw that they released whale on wave i gt a feeling circle flat is bout to be re invented also leoncrest works well woth spike and blackshell 7-60 gear needle works well to

Oh no this is not good defense has fallen off so bad that balance type defense is doing a better job than defense. The joke is point is a balance type bit but good vid though.

Then they shouldnt have made them with low burst resistence ... They are x dashing themselves into a burst

O, personally like it on; LeonCrest 7-60 O, D can also work, but I think O stands up better. Great vid, again, man!

I like the design, would probably use it as an attack type, like I did with wizard Rod, which is actually pretty fun as an attack type
From a theory standpoint, I can't see why 7-60 would be easy to Burst - it has very little space between the Ratchet Arms meaning attack types should struggle to catch and hit them, and the arms themselves are very flat and wide.

I wonder if weiss tiger will get another type. Like a really offensive design
Yo! I literally built a fancy version of this combo last night! I’ll send a pic 😂

Facts with Mr. Nizuma
I got some good rounds in with Phoenix 1-60 Point against Crest. Very good defensive bey!
I'm more of a phoenix guy myself, but I appreciate the guts to stick with the beyblades you love through thick and thin!

honestly i just wanna see the sideprofile of a leoncrest 7-60 DiscBall since i dont own the parts yet
It's a great looking combo for sure, I tried it
Will Ball be a good alternative to his og bit ?

After doing some research; I found that 7-60 is the best for a Gale Wyvern: Stamina build! However, I'm still narrowing down bits; do you think Free-Ball or Disk-Ball is better for the combo?
Disk ball is super risky for self bursting
My leon claw got more dings than my leon crest and their first battle debute was today
Ive tried this its better then stock but i had better results with taper since his striking comes out a little more but still got enough stamina
from wich set can we get that yellow bit part ?
I love defence types ever since i was a kid back in metal fight, I never played X since defence is bad, but i hope i can play it now.(but burst is still the best imo)
I wanted to like Glide on this blade, but the bumps on the bit just makes it feel like a worse Point in every way
Pls try cobalt dragon 5 60 point this combo can steal spin pretty fast 🔥 and also try hell scythe 9 60 Hera this combo is unstoppable 📈
