Praise God, I, myself, can’t even mess up what He’s done! Why on earth a man would actually desire to play a role in his own salvation through his own merit, is beyond comprehension! Every time I hear these messages, I think of how unworthy I am, but yet, he still loved me enough to knowingly purchase a defective product, and could somehow use me - all of us. His gift is so simply free folks, just repent and believe in His finished work on the cross, His perfect, sinless blood, and that He was buried and rose again on the third day, according to the scriptures. Believe with your hearts and you are saved and sealed until the day of redemption! And you can KNOW that you’re saved. Enjoyed the message!

I definitely appreciate this. Sometimes it's challenging to grasp this with so many people in our ears telling us that true believers no longer sin. Yet there are still passages in the Bible that point to true believers struggling with sins. We don't see them engaging those sins but struggling or at least committing with an unawareness or with some level of problem that has to be called out like Paul calling out Peter, James, and Barnabas for hypocrisy. And if he was falsely accusing them (which he wasn't), then it would be sin for Paul to deal with. And it's not an escape for any of us to plunge into sinful lifestyles as some may accuse us of doing. But in examining ourselves and how we can continue abiding in Christ while being purged, I think it's important to take our temperatures this way.
And surely if by the Old Covenant atonement, people's sins were covered an entire year, our covenant under Christ gives us atonement for all time by His shed blood. I do believe that, because of this, we live our lives to follow our Savior, denying ourselves daily. But for me to say I am without sin, I cannot do that, just as John pointed out in his first letter. And I cannot take the word of some commenters today over what John said. And it's grieving to be falsely accused of not belonging to the Lord because we choose to heed to John's letter and to examine some sinful failures of saints before us as opposed to what some commenter is convinced of.

So well stated and the scriptures are so clear and it gets so difficult when we hear Christian’s say true believers don’t sin, but the scriptures say that anyone saying they don’t sin is a liar.
Understanding the old covenant helps understand the new one. We just talked about this in church do this video really confirming because we are in right standing before God, this helps us intercede for unbelieving loved ones because we can plead to God for them. This even helps me understand my role as a wife as our spouse can be sanctified through us if they don’t believe. It’s like the more I read and learn it’s all coming together and Insee why satan fights so hard to distort this. This is really great news we can share with so much joy.
It’s a slap in his face when we try to add our own good works to the salvation process as if we are needed in it when it’s all him..

Eph.4 18] Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
[19] Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
    [20] But ye have not so learned Christ;
[21] If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
    [22] That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
    [23] And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
[24] And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
[25] Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
[26] Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
[27] Neither give place to the devil.
[28] Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
[29] Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
[30] And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Verse 28 Stop that Paul says. He is not saying that you are going to hell for stealing just cut it out. How could he say otherwise when verse 30 says that we are sealed until the day of redemption.
The wise thing to do is to live a life that is morally good.

Yes that is Wise. But remember that we aren't completely morale. In fact, we're deprived. That is why we need Salvation.
Ephesians 2 . 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
We cannot be with God by just living morally.
Romans 10. 9 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is real, and G-d will write His Torah on a “New Heart” just as He promised in Jeremiah. If we are planning on continuing in sin-we’ve got a problem!

Jesus’s single sacrifice is sufficient for all sin only if it is received. It’s the failure to daily submit to and apply the one sacrifice that grieves and potentially does despite to the Holy Spirit that leads to the forfeiture of redemption and makes a soul twice the son of perdition. Our benefits are in Him as we continue to remain Him. Notice the passage in Corinthians regarding separation from Him are all external to the soul not including the individual will.
    Hebrews 10:29-31 is clear.

If you do not desire to sin before God, why does this even matter? Most of you wish to hear a message like this so you can remain in the sins you Love and still belive, "feel" like you love God. So you can believe the free gift of Salvation is the same as OBEDIENCE. Christ's Obedience was Greater than his Death. For it was his Obedience that made him ONE with the Father, NOT his death. This is why God means it when it is said that "Obedience is better than sacrifice"!
Let us NOT confuse, the only One SUFFICIENT sacrifice used as an atonement for all Sinners (p,p,&f) who REPENT, of All sin (p,p,&f), with the false doctrine of "once saved always saved". Fear God family. You do NOT know who God's elect are. ONLY he does and His people "OBEY" him.
If you BELIVE in him, you WILL OBEY him. No one who believes, consistently disobeys. This is an unbeliever. Knowing what is right does NOT make you a believer. DOING what is right does. Hearing and Knowing the word of God does NOT make you a follower of Christ. OBEYING the word of God Does.
What good is it that you have repented, been baptised in the name of Jesus, received the GIFT of the Holy Spirit, ate of the Gospel, felt the annointing of God, and seen the power thereof as a Believer. But then choose to remain in certain sins. Not fall or stumble at diverse times, but choose to remain in them. Which is the denial of the faith. Though you know of him and believe on him, you do NOT OBEY him. What good is Christ blood if you never REPENT and [give up] the sins that YOU LOVE. Is not the shedding of blood made VOID for you and your heart?
Is the gift of salvation now forced upon you because you desire and want the things of God without Obedience . Greater is the Love of God for his children which he restricts his kingdom for to only those who Obey. For them who walk and are of the light, but you remain in Darkness. Will God say to all them who remain in disobedience, Salvation is yours? Is God a LIAR? God Forbid... so when GOD says no [active] sinner "them who DO" will NOT make it in. He MEANS it... You can Obey man or you can obey God.
Can a man Obey(not sin) and Disobey(sin) at the same time? Can a man be a believer and a nonbeliever at the same time? Can you love God and Hate God at the same time? No! God Forbid... Neither can you follow Christ, and not follow Christ at the same time. One will overtake the other.
The shedding of Blood is for ATONEMENT. Before atonement must be Repentance for forgiveness. And then Baptism. What MUSt follow after these is Obedience. It is not about the sins that we have committed in our lifetime. We have a sufficient sacrifice to cleans our sins if we REPENT(cut out, give up, let go) of them. Then what condems man is not the sin that [has] or commits in his lifetime, but The sins he will NOT repent from and DIE in.
Family when you backslide/sin. It gets harder and herder to remain on the righteous path. Everything that God aks us to Call Sin and Give UP for him, we MUST OBEY and do, or we are NOT counted among the elecet. For no SIN has a place in the Kingdom of heaven. If you die in sin, then you never overcame sin through Christ Jesus. God ask us to love him enough to give UP sin. To FLEE from temptation. Christ put it this way, to "Go and SIN NO MORE"! Condemning us as one who HAS sinned, but Demanding we NO longer be partakers in his DEATH for our sins. Instead be partakers in his Life for our living.
There is only one SUFFICIENT and ACCEPTABLE shedding of Blood for ALL sin, for All time. Christ will NOT be dying again and again. Though it is his blood that is CONSTANTLY being used to cover ALL of our sins. We whom are present, those in past generations, and them who are in the FUTURE. One lamb use for the atonement/a sacrifice for ALL TIME. For each persons sin who are IN Christ Jesus. Everytime you SIN. This blood MUST be used to cleans away the sin you REPEANT from. If there is NO repentance, there is NO cleansing. Family, God's love and free gift of SALVATION is not the question here. Our Love is! Past, Present, and Future SINS should only mean, those in which we have been caught OFF guard for. Not those we choose to constantly do and choose to remain in. Especially until death.
Many of you will say what about the love of God? God's Love is Never in question. Throughout the Whole Gospel and even NOW it is our love that is. Will we LOVE God enough to Obey HIM. Christ's blood is shed for the SINS you repent from. NOT for the ones you will NOT give up. The ones you remain in. The ones you stay in a deaden state for, make the shedding of his blood of NO effect, because YOU are a worker of eniquity.
If we "fall" he is faithful to lift us up, and is able to forgive us, if we repent and desire to live HOLY. But that is only if we LIVE HOLY [Seperate from sin].

The old testament saints did not have the atonement for sins, but they had a promise of atonement, which was fulfilled in the sacrifice of Christ, so it is written in the letter to the Hebrews, It is not possible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
As for repentance, it is required that we bring forth fruits worthy of repentance. We should confess the sins we commit, for if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, for we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
To redefine the taking away of sins and substitute for it, the taking away the effects of sin is not biblical, and is not true sanctification. I marvel that so many believe that God can resurrect your dead body, and give a glorified body and give you eterna life, but withholds grace to cease from sin.
Romans6 asks, shall we continue in sin that grace may abound, God forbid? Also, He that is dead is free from sin, who is planted with Christ in the likeness of his resurrection.
Have we rightly considered that God chastens us for our sins, that we might be partakers of his holiness? Chastening is a serious matter, it involves weakness and sickness, trials and afflictions and even premature death of the believer.
Therefore, to insist that there is no sinless perfection, is tantamount to insisting that we must continually endure chastening, and never become partakers of God's holiness. He has said, Be ye holy, for I am holy. There is not a separate standard of holiness for us apart from the holiness of God, since God gives to us his holiness, just as he gives us his love, and his righteousness.
God is not requiring you to cease from sin without granting the abundance of grace to do so, for where sin abounds, grace much more abounds. Just as we are imputed righteousness, we are made righteous.
Satan is delighted for us to believe that we cannot cease from sin, it is the work of the devil, it is bondage and death.
If we would judge ourselves we shall not be judged. Examine yourselves whether you are in the faith, is the word spoken to us. What we do matters more than what some would have us to believe. Those things written in the law, were written for our admonition. Every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward Heb2. How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation?
Grace and peace be multiplied through the knowledge of God and of Christ.

An advice, just because you don't know anyone who is " born again" who does not sin makes you sin, remember we will stand before the judgement of God and we will have to give account of what " We" did when we were in this world, bad or good, 1 Corinthians 5:10 do not let anyone decive you,if we want to see Jesus one day and be with Him forever,we must purifie ourselves just as He is pure 1 John 3:2-3, God bless you

Jesus wants us to believe in Him , His death burial resurrection ( 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 ) to have eternal life ..We do NOT purify ourselves, WE are NOT holy , ONLY Jesus and His righteousness IN us justifies us before God. A born again person is justified, a new man, without sin forever and can never sin. This is a spiritual, not a physical transformation.
If you believe you never sin in your flesh, John addresses that in his letter to believers, the brethren and beloved, 1 John 1: 8 "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us."
The doctrine of salvation was settled by the Father for me 2 years ago after struggling with Pentecostal doctrine for 28 years.
Jeremiah 33:3 Call upon Me , and I will answer and show you great and mighty things which you do not know.

In order for sins to be forgiven, one must be contrite and ask for forgiveness. There is not a single sin that anyone can commit with impunity. The wages of sin is death.

Atonement was during the time of priesthood. But when Jesus came to earth, priesthood was set aside by God, bcoz in everything they do cannot make anything perfect.
      Heb10:9
Then he (Jesus) said, Here I am, O God, to do your will. So God does away with ALL the OLD SACRIFICES and puts the sacrifice od Christ in their place.
The sacrifices (atonement) offered to God before Jesus came to earth, can never take away sins (Heb10:11).
      Heb10:12
Christ, however, offered one sacrifice for sins, an offering that is effective forever, and then he sat down at the right side of God.
      Heb10:14
With one sacrifice, then, he has made perfect forever those who are purified from sin.

I didn't say the atonement under the law but the atonement that Christ brought. In Romans 5:11, many version use the word "reconciliation". but the greek word is literally the atonement. And once you have received this better atonement, according to Hebrews 10, all of our sins are taken away and we are perfected (before him and in him) as we are being sanctified

WOW, I've been lookin for an answer, for a convincing answer, and you've given it! Well God's grace did, but He did so through you! I knew it was true, Ephesians 2:8-9 1:13-14 and 4:30 made me know that it's true but I didn't know how. When it comes to repentance, since it's a turning around, doesn't it happen when we believe in the Gospel, the Blood? I mean, we are turning around from goin to hell to goin to heaven, from being unsaved to being saved, from trusting in anything than the Gospel to trusting the Gospel, from dead works to faith. Is that repentance? I mean, the Spirit does lust against the flesh making it hard to yield to 1 of them, but isn't it like the more you yield to the Spirit, the more remorse you feel? in 1 Corinthians 5 there is a man living in f*rnication and yet is saved but he gets sacrificed to the devil for the destruction of the flesh. 1 more question, why does Romans 3:25 say "sins that are past"? I know there's more to it than just past sins that are forgiven, but I don't know what that more is. If you do, please tell me, thank you and may God's grace be with you!
