Looks like an amateur rehabbed the downstairs space. Poor trim work, amateur windows, interrupted ceiling lines, ridiculous non load bearing wall cutting the arch in half. Terrible.

And I can recognize and comment when a space which was once architecturally interesting has been chopped up into the short stay housing market. I can recognize commercial tile, which is dreary but functional. I can recognize poor windows that were put together on the cheap. And since comments are open, I get to speak my piece about it.
Completely agree. It would have been better to have gone for a studio design and keep the ceiling as a focal point and main feature, especially if taken back to the exposed brickwork. Quality overrides quantity, anytime.
