I grew up in Hayward California Yesterday & Today's stomping ground,so i was lucky to see them a couple of times during the Struck Down days, Seen them with Journey at the Hayward memorial auditorium Great Show, been Rocking to Y& T ever since. The live Open fire c,d . Is my go to Rocker. Ten Lovers one of my favorite songs, Dave is no doubt one of the all time great musicians, Miss Phil, Lenard & Joey RIP fellas. Keep Rocking Dave. I love Dave. I didn't realize how good he was until I saw them again around 2010. They did I Believe In You and it was right before Phil passed. It was the most emotional guitar playing I've ever witnessed. It gave me goose bumps.
I’m a late comer, myself. The first time I saw them was on Dave’s birthday, Dec 12, 2009, when I flew from Florida to Tempe, Az to see them. I was stunned. I’ve since seen them five times in four different states-twice in Florida, once in Georgia and Texas and the Tempe show. Nobody can touch them live and we all know just how criminally under appreciated their discography is.
You need to add a few corrections on this. Dave and Jill do not make their wine anymore. 😢 You need to correct it's going to be their 50th anniversary in 2024, not 40th.
Black Tiger AND Mean Streak are top 100 records. Dave's vocals, playing, and writing make everyone besides Gary Moore seem like slackers. All 3 aspects are upper echelon.
