Shiv doesn't want kids. Tom keeps pressuring her and I hate to see it. She only said she wants it now because her mom told her she shouldn't have kids. She is literally doing it to spite her mother.

The kid thing is like the only aspect of the relationship where Tom is in the wrong, so I think people overlook that it's pretty fucked up. Cause Shiv is fucking awful to him in pretty much every way so it's easy to ignore the one terrible thing Tom does to her
@@enotsnavdier6867 I completely agree Shiv is horrible to him. Her behaviour is horrible in general, and it's clear he loves her much more than she loves him. They never should have even been together. I just don't like Tom as a character in general, so this is just one more thing I dislike about him. The sleaziest character ever! But that's just me, I know many people love him for some reason. I find him incredibly annoying and cringe. I just like him with Greg haha

Tom wasn't wrong when he told Kendall that he's not seen Logan get fucked once - he's got a habit of finding an angle and getting through a storm.

Ive understood it like Caroline is asking if shes not allowed to have romance anymore at her age. Hence the "maccaroni and memorial services" comment. Shes got the money, she doesnt need to marry someone who goes bankrupt all the time for that.
Hell, the way she talks about Peter and only adds in one or two snarky comments about him, from all we've seen of her, that must be true love.
Also, while I dont think she needs money, I do think that her being rich doesn't necessarily mean shes smart about that kind of stuff. Her full name is fucking Lady Caroline Alexandra Helena St John Collingwood. Im assuming the Lady part is a title, not her actual first name, so it does seem to me that shes old money. And given that she married Logan Roy, I doubt that there was an extended period of time where she had to be cautious about her financial decisions.

Logan asking about Iverson getting better is probably because of Iversons autism or learning disorder or whatever he has. Remember when Iverson was not gonna go in the dinner room in season 1? Logan probably still sees Iverson as a weirdo who needs to get his shit straightened out.
Kendalls and Logans talk is a great scene because both have a great point. Logan is 100% right about Kendall being... not a great guy. Kendall was happy working under Logan for decades as long as he was in pole position to take over. He perpetuated all the same shit he accused Logan of in this scene. Would have been nice for Ken to admit to himself that he didnt try to make the company better with his moves, he just didnt want to go to jail for his father and become CEO.
On the other hand, Kendall IS better than Logan. Not a high bar of course, but I very much doubt that Logan would still have such a visceral reaction to someone bringing up a random waiter who died in his car months ago. Theres still some humanity in Kendall, something that seemed to have been sucked out of Logan almost completely. Hell, Kendall basically tells him that he wants out, he cant do this anymore, he just wants to be gone and have a new chapter in his life away from his fucked up relationship with his dad and the company. As you pointed out, Logan was in a position of power? Even if its just about money for Logan, he could have negotiated the buyout. No, Logan doesnt reject it because of money or winning or whatever. He rejects Kendalls plea because he cant stand the idea of his children ever getting truly independent of him. Or maybe hes just cruel in that moment, who knows.
You should check out "The curse", it doesn't get the attention as it should and i think you would appreciate it a lot. It gives a lot of room for discussions, very interesting characters and GREAT acting from 3 main actors.

So I just started my brother watching Succession , & 2 episodes in ,he says he despises Shiv. He really has no idea what’s coming.
