I have tested their resin 3d printing, metal 3d printing, there printed circuit boards, there CNC metal and the Clear 3d printing. Price is fair but the default shipping is very high. But you can select global economy and get the parts in 2 weeks.
You generally want to avoid rounded edges in machining as they add a LOT of tool time that equals cost, only when absolutely necessary and even then with minimum r that you can also, more effiecient way is to define multiple facets that combine in to a rounding of sorts.
It's a very nice, finished product. I would probably have just cut discs and spacers from ali sheet and then slide them over a tube, then peen over the ends to hold them on. For a single unit run its faster and cheaper and less waste. Good project to test the capabilities of the Chinese company though.
Yes, I agree. The only reason for the video was to show PCBWAY CNC service and this was the only part I had laying around that I could change into a .step file easily.
Very cool that services are available like this. Especially metal parts.
It amazes me how affordable it is to have such complex designs professionally printed.
Very informative! I was curious about pcbway

Seems like you can eventually build a real light weight full size robby

Can you show where the file is for the beamer housing . The one you are showing in the video has more rings than the one you had on thingverse
I have files for the blaster gun on Thing-i-verse, just search Robothut and all my listing will pop up.
No sure what you mean by Beamer housing. The CNC part is the dome light support in Robby's Head.
