I forgot to mention how I washed these shirts, Regular cycle was and machine dry every week or week and a half after I completed the 100 day challenge. Why? I live in a very humid city and I noticed after a week or two of wear the shirts would feel oily, they would not smell but to me they did not feel clean… if that makes sense.
@jackolantern7342 nope, I basically just throw them in with the rest of my clothes. I can’t remember what the suggested maintenance is but I haven’t had any issues normal wash, normal dry.
Yes with the 100 percent merino variant, with the blend you can just regular wash and go. I also meant to mention the issues my friend had were with the wool linen and 100 percent wool versions he hasn’t had any issues with the nylon wool blend nor have I and I’ve pushed mine through the wringer in fact I’m in South American right now with only two of these shirts, they never fail me!
Awesome glad you found it helpful and hope you enjoy the world of Merino! It is a great fabric choice but is far from perfect. All things considered for certain use cases you can’t go wrong with a merino nylon blend Tee shirt.
I think you will miss the redeeming qualities of wool. Wool and Prince has a unique and interesting yarn make-up. They have wrapped a single thread of nylon around the wool yarn, thus its durability. I read a reddit response from the lady that inventited that teqnique and it is exclusive to W&P. I hope it is similar with their wool/linen blends. I wish to get out these synthetic base layers. Cotton just doesn't cut it for me. great video.

Maybe an odd question but are you wearing antiperspirant (with aluminium) or regular deodorant with these shirts? I've done the same as you by switching from cheap Uniqlo / H&M to W&P but in both Black and Silver, but the silver in particular is starting to show signs of deodorant stains after only a few wears/washes.
0:36 well tbh the thumbnail and the title is not really good - "WOOL & PRINCE CHALLENGE!" no one knows about this challenge. a title like "i wore the same shirt for 100 days" is way more attractive in my opinion nevertheless great videos dude

Just found out they also sell 100% merino shirts. Got an order in for a single shirt to see how it feels, if its great i might just get more.

Great question actually, I prefer the salt crystal deodorant. Been using it for years and it works great for me.
From what I understand W&P stands by their products. My friend has had no issues with post purchase support. Maybe they will exchange them for you.
