time stamp 18:30 . totally agree. i call those kinda tools showpiece tools. a man is affraid to use them for their intended purpose, for fear of breaking the tool. so the tool is basically a show piece. im also a fan of the cheap tools that do the job. nice vid . my splitter axe is duller than a prime minister too, . i tell ya what tho, in my experience a dull axe splits better ,cuz a sharp will just bite deep into the wood and get stuck. my splitter axe i actually slammed into the concrete a few times to put a blunt edge on it and it works great that way. love your vids looking forward to the next one , your friend lee, from Maryland usa
Have you ever checked out maggot feeder for your chickens? Its basically a soup can suspended with rotten meat. The maggots fall out and the chickens eat the maggots. Check it out bud it's free chicken feed and gives them variety. Cheers from McLean Saskatchewan

Use wind chimes as bear alarms,hang low enough that bump into them when they come around,it will give you enough time to maybe to get your freedom stick. Lisa in East Central Ohio

Sweet dude! I was just watching some shows and everything was making me depressed no vibe. I thought maybe I would just watch some old traplines and inlines and bam a new one.
Great big laugh about the deer sausages. I love the projects getting done. We usually use the 20 foot long pieces of fencing from tractor supply bent into a hoop shape for the chickens. Go about a shovel deep wiggle it back and forth a couple times and fence will slide right down in the groove. If you plan to have chicks add a piece of chicken wire in the trench and wire tie it above to keep them from escaping. Dont know how well that would do against your predators though.
Hey another great video , love the looks of the coop , the guys up north here still had some snow on the ground , looks like yours is all gone , good idea with the other lock on the door , bears are pretty smart , cant beat hot dogs on an open fire , yummy your a lucky guy , most people would love what you have the peace and quiet , keep up the great work , you have an awsome pooch , very well behaved .
Excellent audio pick-up with the Loons and the wood frogs at 20 minutes. Black labs do have a few draw backs, but a forgiving when they get some retrieved duck feathers in their mouth.
I love your video's . Its refreshing to see a young lad working hard and enjoying the wilderness. Wish you'd pop down to Texas and trap some of the dam coyotes that hang around our homestead 😊
I built a shed with USB sheathing. Sucks up paint more than wood you need like 3 coats of primer and 2 of paint. Great vid keep those projects rollin bud.
I haven't seen it addressed in other videos - what do you do for showering and other cleaning that involves water? You have rainwater collection outside and just small jug inside you bring in to camp from elsewhere, from what I could see.

Hey the coop looks great! Just love the barn red. Like you said, it represents agricultural. If I were you I would hold out with getting WiFi. It'll distracted you to much. Just my 2 cents worth of advice to you. Lol. That is a damn good dog for sure. I had a pooch like that for 13 years and unfortunately had to put her down. Good dogs are hard to come by. Once left an whole chicken out to defrost on the counter left kitchen for like 10 min and tadaaa ! it was gone. Strangly enough my old lady rotweiler shat chicken bones the day after an real mystery there.

Next time, dark primer for dark color, light primer for lighter colors. You can put endless coats of red paint over white primer. Looks "deadly" though buddy! Keep up the good work
@@stevezerbe269 Somewhere back near the beginning of the construction of the mansion. It was right in front of the mansion. The bear got too close to the home site for safety. But don't get your hopes up, all you'll see is the rifle come up. But very cool.

Don't feel bad... red is notorious for needing extra coats. Also, a thicker roller nap for rough surfaces helps.

You have to watch out for that disappearing deer sausage that can turn into a big problem! Love videos! And you have to feed the dog anyway!!!!
