The, “the Inquisitor is you,” bit is very Ravenor.
I never moved on to Ravenor after Eisenhorn. Which is odd, because my first sighting of Ravenor was the old inq 58 metal Ravenor, so I was primed to want it!

3 models right out the box with zero conversion required. Then the others are just cool bodies to attach arms to!
Bascially.. get a Cawdor redemptionist box and you'll have enough cool, unique proxies.

GW completely mask off about needing to buy 2 boxes to make a full kill team for the first time is refreshing because at least they're not just lying to us about it anymore.... I guess.
Depends on your stance on things. Each box is a full team. But if you want a full roster you need a second box. This really didn't seem particularly egrigous to me. Especially when one of the most asked for things to return to kill team is list building, which necessatates extra purchases 🤷♂️
Ago of Sigmar Flagellants might also be good for kitbashing the extra bits onto.
So here's the hope. GW saw how quickly the last 3 Kill Team boxes sold out, and with a 6-9 month lead time, doubled the production quantities for this release. Players get the expansion, scalpers get a load of stuff they can't shift and GW make a boat load of cash. Everyone wins... And then I wake up!
I think Ashes will be good because both sides will be easy to get hold of. Chaos because the models have existed for ages, and inq because every model sucks so proxies will be widely accepted. But production is still entirely down to 10th and I can't see this being fixed in the short term.
Just finished my Exaction Squad. With a little extra snipping a few spare sisters are now my Subductors.

I’ve already been looking at my sister novitiate models as proxies, probably will fit in size. I’ve got one with two knives and a big chain sword as an example, so 🤞to get a box.
novitiates will be my 2 sword person, big chainsword person, and Ill make a wyrdvane psyker be my psyker person

I didn't really cover it too much in this one, but let's be honest, this is easily THE MOST kitbashable team in the game. I'm super excited to see everyone's conversions!
I have to wonder if the Arbites were originally made for this game, since is makes more sense thematically for them to be working with Inquisitors in a hive city than skulking around a space hulk. But then things got switched around at some point. Good that we can take them here regardless though.
I suspect it's more a case of the rules guys get told her are the teams we're releasing, give them rules

Typically Gun Servitors hit on a 5+ but if an Inquisitor or Tech Priest are within 6" (or whatever) then it's BS and also Ld stats improve. The previous War-Com article mentioned that servitor operates better if a friendly model is nearby. This tracks perfectly with how they operate in 40K and the lore.
Novitiates might also be a good pick. They have an big chainsword, lady with dual swords and two staffs which can be the psyker. Not sure if the Cawdor kit has shotguns actually. They do have big blunderbusses.
I'd probably go for the Orlock box, personally.

Quite possibly, but after I got the exaction squad so wrong, I want to hedge my bets and not give incorrect advice!
I bought all of the star grave plastic kits when they came out. Should have plenty of bodies to stick arms on... Plus cawdor and Delaque. Hopefully my FLGS gets me a box.
I seems to me that several of the Necromunda gang kits could be used to proxy the agents. Escher for the girl power squad, Orlock for indistrial grit, Cawdor for a very Blanchitsu look, Delaque because why not and Van Saar for a high tech approach. The Gun Servitor, Scribe and floating book might be more challenging to source.
I have made a book for a librarian. It was a 2-stage process with green stuff, but simple enough. Add that to a floaty skull or cherub (reasonably common) and you're good. 😎
if you can get the blackstone fortress warhammer quest "heroes" there are easy proxy models for the henchmen.
I've been assembling enough Kill Team to do an Agents army for Boarding Actions. I was thinking of the Redemptionists to use as Acolytes. This vid may have sealed the deal on that purchase!
Forgeworld Necromunda bounty hunters could make this my most expensive Kill Team yet! 😭 💸
Wonder how the Ancillary Support will be able to be equiped... Combined with the Pistoleer and the Servitor this team will have an really heavy AP Firepower loadout... If the Kasrkin/Vet Guard/ Scions will be able to take 2 Gunners(with Melta and Plasma) they will be blowing up Elite Teams like nothing.
I'm personally going to be getting a box of House Delaque for the extra operative bodies as they are a dead ringer match for the robes. Even has a dude with knives. I'm also going to build my servitor with a plasma cannon because plasma is always the correct choice. I ordered myself a finecast jokaero weaponsmith as a proxy for those times when I need the heavy bolter or melta instead, because space monkey!
I'm very interested to see if we get specialists or gunners for the auxiliary support. Like, can we take scion gunners? Can we take a Kasrkin sniper and demo trooper? Vox casters?
Annoying that you can only make one of the 4 pairs of operatives but at least gives some good kitbashing ingredients

There's so many good options out there. But I think for me I'll just pick up the cawdor Redemptors and call it done

Doesn't make much sense, you could still be a Lord Inquisitor, like Alessandro Rorken Lord Inquisitor of the Hereticus Order. There's no shortage of hierarchy, that's kinda the parody the game is trying to tell.
EDIT: there's no reason to not have an Inquisitor. Especially Eisenhorn if they want a narrative box.
You make an excellent point. A lot of these preview models are basically bum. But, I totally agree that the Pistoleer looks sick! I think a Novitiate Penitent could easily proxy for a Questkeeper.

@@GlassHalfDead I just kinda lost the mojo. Wasn’t getting enough games in to really justify new stuff. I quite fancied the Arbites team for the inquisition theme.
I’m not blown away with this team either tbh. Though I think you could play around with some to make them look more functional, I’m not a huge fan of all the robes, etc.

Honestly this team is so boring that if i wanted to I would just kitbash them with guardsmen kit.
Bodies are simply to similiar. The magic of inquisitorial henchmen is that they are so diverse.
Give me a nimble assasin, mucular brute, ghastly scribe. If the rules are good im just gonna use diffrent necromunda models for em
