3 absolute legends of the game.
Dravid, Rohit and Virat. They needed this WC more than anybody else. Nov 19 still hurts but if we had lost this, I do not know if they would have recovered from the loss ever. Anyways, Congratulations and Jai Hind ♥️🇮🇳

I don't understand the people worshipping in India!!!
India needed this world cup more than anything, not Kohali, Rohit or Rahul Dravid.
Keep your priorities clear and India will win world cups more frequently.
Only INDIA matters, not any individual.

@@BharatThatIsIndiayes india won but the one who performs deserves appreciation. We fans wanted them to perform and wanted them to bring us glory, virat, rohit, dravid they worked hard to won us that so why not we appreciate them. Don't be gambhir everywhere. We are not saying only they win but they worked hard from last 10 years to make india proud.did you see the passion in their eyes after every loss they come stronger. It's them who got trolled everytime india lost. Then why can't we appreciate there hard work.

@@Myriad45 I have a problem with the line "They needed this wc more than anybody else".
That's people worshipping and that's the reason India doesn't win anything for decades, even with the strongest teams.
So India needed more than anybody. Our mindset should be, India needs to win this wc and If we have to drop Rohit, Virat and even Bumrah, we must drop them.
U know, we won in 2011 and everyone was saying we have to win it for Sachin. We won but what happened after that?
We didn't win anything for a decade.
This is the time we must decide that the world cup, India is more important than any player and only play for the country.
You know the famous line "Der is no 'I' in a team". I assume that players in the Indian team think like that. Now we all Indians should start thinking like this.

@@BharatThatIsIndia it's always emotions bhai, you can't keep emotions away ever. Even SL were saying they want to win that for murali. When Argentina won everyone said that they won it for messi. Yes it's team game and everytime team wins and not individual but we feel for certain individuals. I know this all thing come after gambhir statement about 2011 world cup but he said that in different emotions and viewers take it as something else. They all played for india so obviously they bring india Glory. When we check record did anyone say that virat ir rohit won that , no everyone say that india won. It's a wrong narrative the we wanted to win for certain individual, the main narrative is we didn't have to focus on stats but we have to play for the team. It's just after gambhir views everyone carried away with that statement. Everytime a team wins trophy always it's certain player whom we feel that they needed it more. As a fan off course we are desperate but the one working hard from last decade have more desperation than us.

In my opinion its the END of India's Golden Era. In this Era India were the STRONGEST and Favourites going into every ICC tournament. Whether it was Dhoni's last run at the title in 2016, Kohlis brilliant 2017 and 2019 campaigns or Rohit's 2022, 2023 and 2024, India were always the strongest team going into the tournament. Never before this era we looked at India being the favourites when you had the mighty aussies of the 90s and 2000s, The Windies of the 70s and the 80s. In this Golden Era we had a great player in almost every position. This Generation deserved more than just 1 trophy in its prime but that 1 trophy is more priceless now. Kohli, Ashwin, Jadeja, Rohit, Dhoni, Pandya, Bumrah, Bhuvi, Shami, Kul-Cha, Dhawan, Rahul were the pillars of the Golden Era but now its on to the next generation with Jaiswal, Gill, Pant, Arshdeep, Abhishek, Mayank Yadav, Sai and of course some transition players like Hardik and Bumrah who are here to stay. Well done, India, you finally got it!

I had the same feeling when Tendulkar retired what next?? but Virat18 stepped in..... old generations will always pass the baton to new generations in every sport, but being Indian's we should support our team in times of Joy as well as downs this is why cricket is a religion in our country right it makes it unites peeple more than anything?

Everyone failed against Australia, Rohit and Surya stood up. This time Virat and Axar stood up.
Virat cannot play Rohit's way and vice versa They both contribute in their own way.
But one thing is sure, there's no replacement of Bumrah right now. I mean Jaiswal and Shubhman are waiting for their chances in place of Rohit and Virat. Dhruv Jurel, Samson, KL Rahul can replace Pant, Rinku Singh can replace Dube, everyone is replacable but there's no one close to Bumrah right now in India.

my.2 cents on Kohl's inning - his inning took India to 170+ OW India could very well be defending 140 odd,; but at the same time he picked up tempo a tad too late because of which India scored 20 odd runs less. Aksar's inning and how well the wicket was playing should have given him enough evidence that he could do a bit more a little earlier. But anyway, it is so easy to opine sitting outside! HATS OFF TO HIM and INDIA. VERY PROUD

The way India fpught after the 30 balls is biblical, it literally cannot be put in words. How does a team come out a situation like that, but hell they did. What nerves of steel must've been required, the calmness in the storm. What performances, Bumrah in his last over, SKY with his catch, Pandya in his last over was more than exceptional, that was a Pandya I had not seen, he showed such maturity and such patience. His face showed he is taking every ball so catiously. And Rohit the captain, like Damn. And no matter what people say that Virat played slow, but Virat's one of the best game today was on display. He saw a dire situation, and he anchored himself to the pitch, which is exactly what India needed then a strong anchor and what an innings he played, he was the rock on which the score was built otherwise I am sure we would have been wrapped by max 130-140. What a sensational match. Absolutely stuff of legend.

@creativity2598 Cause they have a life besides watching sports. In those countries, people prefer to watch cricket matches for the sole purpose of being entertained during leisure time. That's not the case in India. Indians squander time pointlessly by watching one match after the other rather than working towards improving their careers. This clearly justifies why cricket is not yet a part of the Olympics, with the exception of 2028 Olympics.
Do you know the average duration of a basketball match? It's 48 minutes. A reason why Americans and Canadians invest their time watching and learning such sport over cricket. TBH, they would say that cricket is crap. On a similar note, Australians, English, Scottish, Irish, South Africans, and New Zealanders are very much into rugby than cricket, a fact that many are not aware of.

Received all the appreciation around the cricketing corner but wasn’t satisfied till i didn’t find yours. Was eagerly waiting round the corner as the days passes by yet Ik it’s not far maybe you would collect the fond memories and joy to express the raw happiness and emotions for your pure emotional yet beautiful voice of appreciation SIR Harsha. Thank you ❤ The 2 words of yours for generations that described the indian cricket about THE caption RO and THE bowler Boom that you haven’t seen this brand of fearless cricket of Indian cricket ever be it with ball one this how I’ll play just follow me and at when the team needed wickets your go to bowler comes and delivers. That’s it now you can retire after this what you wanted to see in indian cricket after roaming all around the world of cricket being played. Thank you once again for this amazing and a wonderful and well analyzed vote of congratulations 👏

Watching Rahul Dravid showing his emotions after Rabada got caught by SKY, then screaming after holding the trophy and being lifted by the players took me back in his playing days, the tease of not winning it as a player was there which got emoted beautifully after this amazing (nail-biting) win. Thanks to the Indian team..... When Rohit Sharma was lying on the ground after winning, the way he expressed his emotions by hitting the ground first and then tasting the soil, doing namaste with tears in his eyes has etched in my memory and it will last forever.
Though it's been a trademark for Kohli to perform in crunch situations, the way he was calming himself during the innings and then those sixes at the end will remain forever with me as fresh as Kaif's innings in the netwest final.
And Surya's catch, a perfect example of catches win matches alike Kaif's against Pakistan (otherwise we'd have lost even after scoring 349).
Who'd have imagined that bowlers can do miracles from the point (30 required off 30, with Klassen and Miller on the crease), hats off to Hardik and Arshdeep and of course one and only Jaspreet Bumrah.
Well done Rohit and Co. Congratulations to everyone in the team who finally helped India lift the Cup after 17 years.
    Many congratulations 🎉
Thanks Harsha Bhogle sir for narrating it so wonderfully, truly he's been the voice of cricket for many years along with Ravi Shastri (his commentary after the last ball, whether this time or 2011 WC, will always have eargasmic effect on our ears)

From the time of Tendulkar and Ganguly then to Rohit and Kohli and finally to Pandya and Jadeja, the Indian cricket team sometimes totally panicked and mishandled things in 50-over and T20 world cup semi finals and finals. Apart from other reasons, that highly vulnerable and somewhat desperate state of mind deprived them a world cup for 11 years.
But the new generation of Indian cricketers, natured through the IPL, have successfully cast off those old ill habits and temperaments. They approach the game in an exclusively rational, scientific and methodological manner.
Hailing mostly from the culturally developed, globalised Indian middle class, these new Indian cricketers have the right level of intellect, modernity and discipline to traverse a new path temperamentally.
Jasprit Bumrah, Axar Patel, Shivam Dube and Arshdeep Singh showed those qualities remarkably well in this final match. Their performances and the matured innings of the master Virat Kohli made India victorious.
Indian team thoroughly deserve this T20 World Cup. They were the most balanced and most prolific team in the tournament.
Compared with India, the brilliant South African team lacked depth in their batting line-up. In the final match, India clearly outperformed South Africa in the bowling department - in both pace and spin.
Congratulations team India!! World champions of T20 cricket!!
As one cricket commentator said "this team has created a new format for future Indian cricket". It is a new format of aggressive, methodological cricket that all other teams (especially teams like Sri Lanka) should learn from. How to nurture specific players through various stages and avenues in order to assemble a dynamic and optimistic total game plan for the team.
The rapid industrial, financial and urban growth in India intricately integrated with the significant intellectual and cultural achievements of its vast middle class to produce this tremendous sophistication in professional cricket.
At the same time, this glaring cultural development would inevitably move forward socially as a 'positive, radical sign' in an era of deepening economic contradictions and explosive social awakening in India.

And the biggest error was giving 15th over to Axar..spinners were not doing anything..Kuldeep Yadav just went for 14 runs in last over..klassen the greatest current batsman of spin and hardik left with 3 overs..and giving bowl to axar in 15th over was a captaincy error..but hardik had other plans

    • @abhik6400

@@RahulPandey-dm3gx Actually it might have been a mistake but considering axar has been decently well at that point of time, so that's why I thought maybe Rohit turned to axar and we have seen how many times axar has turned the game upside down when required the most, but we saw the real testament of his captaincy in the last 4 overs where he literally choked SA with his bowling changes and giving hardik that over was the turning point, as Hardik was also taken down for runs for the single over he bowled earlier. You can't blame Rohit for giving that over to axar there.

To also mention, Hardik pandya has been the unsung hero. Be it with the bat in the death overs or the ball in the clutch games against Pakistan and Finals. He was the one following up the great Bumrah overs equally well and making sure the impact is well and truly there. The dangerous Klassen and Miller in the finals when they were on song is no joke. Pandya was trolled by the MI fans for whatever reasons, now is the time to paint him in gold and own him. Hats off to Pandya.
