Axar for Stoinis. Gives a left handed batting option in the batting order, as well as another spinner. Ind showed that 3 spinners in the Carribbean was a good call.
Right, but 3 spinners selection in playing XI almost backfired in the final since we went with winning combination..... slight luck on India's side that day.

As usual this is the toughest job, hence 100% agree with Harsha. But going by the tackiness of the surfaces in USA and Caribbean, I would pick a 11 where I could potentially keep the left-right combination going with WIND playing a major factor in the latter half of the tournament esp in Super 8. I could use two left handers apart by QDk as floaters depending on match situation as both of them can play anywhere (Nicky P and Axar). My playing XI would look like. (Very hard to let Arshdeep Singh out but I'm using Naveen's unorthodox action for swing and deception and Bumrah's genius for death)

Terrible list if you look at the whole tournament.
Rohit was great as a captain, but had one or two good innings. He can keep his place as captain. Gurbaz played well but a majority of his scores came against smaller teams. QdK (WK) over Gurbaz.
Pooran and Sky are good choices for 3 and 4.
Stoinis at 5, and Hardik at 6. If this is where they mostly played throughout the (short) tournament, how can you suddenly decide to push them down one spot?
Jansen/Axar has to play at 7, depending on the pitch. Some of Jansen's bowling was incredible, and you need an opening bowler in this XI.
Rashid at 8 picks himself.
Zampa has to be 9. Kuldeep didn't play the first 4 games (half the tournament!!!); it's ridiculous to even consider him.
Bumrah easy choice.
Arshdeep/Farooqi/Nortje/Cummins all warrant a spot in the XI. Dealer's choice, horses for courses etc. etc. You can also pick both Jansen and Axar at 7 and 8, which would extend the batting.

Rishabh pant,markram,and not many others who played at no 3
Pooran is best no 3 of the tournament and no one else is close to him at no 3
Axar in place of stoinis because stoinis bowling wasn't good enough to be in the XI... with heavy heart Nortje in place of Kuldeep because I wont be having 2 wrist spinners in my XI cos in a bad day they leak runs...So Rashid is more economical and Kuldeep cannot be picked if Rashid is the lone wristy....
I used to like Harsha Bhogle a lot but he has got tiring on my ears, similar to how inconsequential an ODI bilateral series between India and SL was in the late 2000s. He needs to be crisp with more anecdotes and not belabour his sentences. Hope he can reinvent himself, sad how the heroes have fallen. I just can’t hear his voice anymore and turn off the volume or TV when he comes on. I guess it is just fatigue. I am not trying to troll Harsha , he was a fresh breath of air on the Indian English commentary scene. How he just feels stale with same obvious but stretched out explanations. Sorry for the unpleasant comment .
How a cricket analyser pick pooran? Pooran is not a big game player, he always felt short in the big game.
Pant is an absolute choker and once again proved that he is the worst wicket keeper batsman in the world. Fortunately the opposition was South Africa, otherwise 32 needed from 30 balls with 6 wicket in hand is easily gettable. otherwise India would have lossed because of the selfish Kohli innings.
For what the hell man of the match award is given to selfish Kohli eventhouh he plays for awards and personal milestones.

Kuldeep should have been replaced with Adil or Zampa. Even with your reasoning he played only half the matches. So Zampa and Adil proved it more with more data

The only thing I thought watching this was picking 3 spinners was 1 of the big choices of becoming the world cup champions, so I would also expect 3 spinners in the team of the tournament :-p But Harsha has himself covered as always.
