Very interesting, I really like how it does the self testing and tells you if there are mistakes etc. That way you dont have to stress out during your show thinking you definitely forgot to attach an ematch or something
Pugz Enterprizes Awesome thanks for viewing. I do plan on adding more videos here in the coming weeks. It will be a mixture of videos of my hobbies fireworks, paramotor training and motorcycles what do you think? Create another channel or keep this as adventure and hobby channel?
Do you use the Pyro ignition software? I’m struggling with basic script writing: adding specific fireworks and parallel fireworks. Loading your inventory of fireworks into the software to choose which firework launches when. I’m not worried about Pyro musicals at this stage just automatic show scripting
Yes I use Pyro ignition. I have never used any automatic scripting and people I know that have found it very challenging with the Firetek system and automatic scripting with Finale
So you fire from the software manually? Or use the remote. Have you come across any TH-cam videos showing how to make a simple script or can you buy a pre made script?
@@polarjack I use pyro ignition to make a script then load it onto my remote, once loaded I fire/play the script from the remote. Pyrobrit has an old video on the scripting using the free software.
Seems like a fantastic system. These systems can get spendy so I am doing my research now on Firetek & cobra. I only want to spend the money once lol😀 In your honest opinion what are your thoughts between the two? Cobra seems much easier to learn and use as compared to the firetex system. Although the Firetek system seems more durable and actually being connected seems like a huge plus..! Cobra has the audio box to ease the pain persey of pyro musicals which seems fairly easy to me along with using something like fireworksfinale or cobra show creator... How does one create a script with Firetek? My buddy Scott has a firetek system and perfers it over Cobra which I understand his reasons. Whats approx cost per cue with Firetek? Sorry for all the questions lol just trying to head in the right direction😀
My apologies for the long and late reply. Keep in mind this is just my unbiased opinion and i don't receive anything from them. Cobra is easy to use but for me and what i wanted to do was more costly and didn't have as many features as the Firetek or if it did i had to pay more for them. For example with the Firetek i can split my rails with a 10 dollar splitter but with the Cobra i would need to buy more expensive rails and cables. Its not bad but its cheaper for me with Firetek. With Firetek you can store your music right on the controller and start the music and pyro all at the same time as well as pause. When it comes to pyromusicals or any show for that matter you can see in one screen how your show is doing or any module i.e signal strength, battery level, continuity along with how good of a connection you have on the controller no tablet or laptop required. You can see also if a cue is part of the script, if there are any faults or warnings all from one screen. You can get GPS and DMX on your modules, you can arm all of your modules without having to go to each one, just press and hold the green button to arm and the system will arm all modules, you wont need to go to each module to arm. The rails have LEDs in them to help with checking your script, software updates are free, you don't need a controller to fire a show in fact you can fire a show with your phone, tablet, laptop or right from the module. Firetek comes with free scripting software which i used for my first pyromusical. Firetek is so easy to use i let 1 sponsor start their show and another fire the first shell. I showed my GM how to use it in 5 min. The range is awesome i have never had an issue with range. I must say the only thing that i don't like is rolling out the cat5 cables and rolling them back up. Cobra is a great system and Scott is awesome nothing negative to say. Firetek fit perfectly for what i wanted to do, ease of use with all important info on one screen and the price with the included features made it well worth the money i have spent. When i do a show my system is the last thing i worry about.
Ehh i cant really go by that because its really even when you go that route but they begin to separate when you talk about features, splitting rails and what you get with your purchase. When i bought mine i got all of the software for scripting and updates, rechargeable batteries and firmware upgrades. From day one if you buy one module you can script and fire a pyromusical. Also when you buy one module spend 10 bucks and at a minimum you have tripled your ques and can do a 3 position front at a minimum. All and all get what you feel comfortable with. No matter what features if you are not comfortable with your system you wont be happy.
For the fourth this year I used www.cablewholesale.com I paid a little over $4 for 50 ft cables I found it depended on what color wanted. Buy pure copper and not CCA (copper clad aluminum)
Joyfulpyro First of all sweet set up. If you don't mind me asking if I get one wireless mod. Will it connect to the rest. Ralph said it would, 2 how much did it all cost
Russell my apologies for the late reply the message didn't come through immediately but I bought my cat5 from Mr fire on pyro fan and the blue ones from XFX.

Dance Artist yes I like how it takes the guess work out since there are so many other things to worry about on show day.
Awesome explanation videos, FireTek should hire you, lol. I’m also a FireTek user, love this system. Keep up the good work on these videos.
