Killzone shadow fall wasn't really about the story but it was more about who was right and wrong that helghan weren't exactly the bad guys throughout all the time and were just trying to survive.

@Sgt. Digas I can agree with you on Shadow Fall, but there is no way that Mercenary sucks. Not only it has been for a long time the best fps on a portable console, but it has also been one of the best Killzone game if you consider the freedoom you had in the gameplay.
I love this series and the Killzone universe and there's so much more they could show in a new game. They could let us play as and Helghast for some missions. I'd love it to be set on Helghan with a similar art style as Killzone 2 and 3. But unfortunately they're making the sequel to Horizon which I'm not that big of a fan of
One of the best openings to a level, the scenery, the chilling music.. still phenomenal, plays great on PS5, one of the best series ever made, games beautiful!
The story in this game makes no sense, why would you give your enemy half of the planet after winning the war. Then let them kill the citizens of your own planet trying to escape to the other side with no military intervention. Bad writing, good graphics damn.
@john duvier The story does make sense because the story is fine, they didnt win the war both sides signed a ceasefire because the remaining helghast were going to launch a last suicidal attack on Vekta and the ISA were crippled from their lose on Helghan after the nuke was detonated in the previous game... gotta know your lore my guy

This game wasn't as intense as two and three, speaking of which what happened to the surviving vektan soldiers from two and three? I know of one soldier in particular who would be extremely, uncompromisingly opposed to the idea of sharing the planet with the higs considering he was a veteran of the helgan invasion and hated them for killing his squad

I remember buying my ps4 with this game and losing my mind with how realistic this game looked. Great times.

Agreed. You had fun with a random team even when losing. The multiplayer modes allowed you to fight for a dignified defeat.
