The crack these produce on the bag and mitts is so intoxicating 😍😍😍

I just bought these gloves (at 14 oz) for my college age son for heavy bag work. He is 5’11” and around 170 lbs. I appreciate your thorough and honest review. Good tip on making the hand space in the glove bigger.

As far as recommended topics, I would like to see one on when, for the beginner/novice/intermediate, to always wear hand wraps and when it’s maybe optional. I’m guessing that depends on a number of variables like hand/wrist strength, the specific training, and the glove type. Also compare hand wraps to padded, slip-on inner gloves. Thanks again for your great combat equipment videos!

Why do reviewers say this is not recommended for sparring because of the stitching? Hayabusa has them in their splint and people are ok with that. Why?

My thought is a lot of people think the area where the leather splits into two different areas could cause a rough spot that would cause a cut maybe? I never really agree with the stitching part being an issue. Of course accidents happen but you'd really have to purposefully try and scrape someone to make that happen.

Hi I wanna start off by saying great review and i very kuch appreciate it cause i was about to buy these gloves and say this review deciding not too. But furthermore I'd like to ask if you can review mma sparing gloves such as the Hayabusa Hypbrid mma sparing gloves and the Venum Sparring gloves. I'd really appreciate your Fairtex mma sparing gloves and was wondering if you could do the samw with other mma sparring gloves. Thank you and have a kick ass day brother

Absolutely! Funny you mention that, I plan to do a review of the hybrid mma gloves/sanabul puffy sparring gloves within the next 2 weeks or so! I hope you can wait that long my man! You can also message me on the Instagram page and I would love to talk to you about the gloves themselves anytime!

Would you say these are better for protecting my sparring partner that’s the traditional sparring gloves? Or not ??

Don’t spar in these. The padding is dense and it has a lip of leather that can scratch your partner. IMO, use these for everything but sparring.

@@combat_corpI can imagine! But I gotta say. Got my regular Cleto Reyes today and they feel very similar to my bgv9. They really changed compared to the ones you reviewed in orange. The weight is almost dead correct, the wrist support is more stiff, and the padding is hard, yet extremaly bouncy. I am surprised how similar they now feel compared to bgv9, although you can tell the quality is different here

I have read that Reyes has changed big time and even my newer lace pair feels...weird. Not the biggest fan of the new design@@alektech7436

@@combat_corpYes sir! I never had Reges before so I cant tell, but watching your old reviews I can tell they changed. Wrist support is really good, they feel tighter, even though I got 16oz, and they are very hard when new. Super similar to my bgv 9 lol. Personally I am glad they changed, since my hands wouldn’t be too well with the old ones I guess, but yea. Btw how are your orange ones holdiing up? They must be like 6-7 yeard old right?
