    "Screaming it out" is not Head Voice. That's screaming :D

    • @n1te
      @n1te 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That would technically make it a separate category of singing, or at least there would be 1 famous song done in screaming technique. If it's not, then we have to put it in one of the existing groups. :)

    I Lost my head voice & falsetto when I grew older without practicing for decades and now I don't know how to get it back again. I Tried few tips from vocal tutorials but it just stuck, they don't work with me. I wish I were 20's again just to be able to sing some songs perfectly.

    That's not head voice singing. Head voice is very relaxed and high. It is not screaming. Your voice isn't covered when you are so called singing in head voice. See Pavarotti masterclass about covered voice.

    it's extremely hard for me to sing in chest voice, like you mentioned it is for some people. in my (curious) case i definitely DONT KNOW how it's my chest voice! the language in my region is usually talked with rhythm, and kind of a melody sound idk how to explain lol but i'm so used to talk "singing" using my head voice so much that i definitely don't know how to make chest voice or if i'm doing it right lmao

    I had been trained classical years ago, but now I started to take lessons to be trained into a more rocklike direction. Biggest problem: My chestvoice sounds so weird to myself that I often switch to head voice though I don't want to. My vocal coach has to assure me every time that my tries to belt sound good, cause I can't believe it 😂

    Thank you very much for the information. Now I have very clear clue. A question about chest voice. If my speaking voice can only sing to F, does that mean I have to sing G in Head voice? I can sing to G if I push a bit but it doesnt sound good in my ears. How can you sing a higher note in soft volume without making it into head voice? Thx!

    • @juanastirling7605
      @juanastirling7605 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Ming Ho oh yes I know that moment. I think that’s where you have to sing with a belted voice. I’m not sure, I just know the feeling. It’s like you switch to a strong voice, but not into this high voice. It’s really helpful if you first do a warm up for your voice and then singing to something really loud so that you don’t hear yourself so loud, don’t hear the little mistakes and suddenly - it works. After that, your voice should be really warmed up and you should be able to sing much more notes than usual. Another might helpful tip is just, that when you sing the tone, you look at the ground or imagine that it’s deeper. But sometimes people just sing then a random deeper tone so don’t worry if it doesn’t work. When you practice, do it when you’re home alone or somewhere where NOBODY can hear you. It’s important, that you let out everything, that you are confident and FIRST don’t care what it sounds like. But the more you sing, the better your voice will become and you can focus on little things like this because yoir not distracted. You also could try to picture a cloud with a great hand pushing it down to the ground. This little trick activates something I don’t know the translation for but it makes your voice stronger and a little louder. When you put a hand on your stomach while singing and trying this, it should feel a little harder. My last tip would be to do practices in the evening or afternoon when you talked a lot. Your voice will sound better and you won’t have to warm it up so much. But not talk TO much because well, then your voice will crack. Oh, and one last tip, don’t eat much chocolate. I can’t explain why, because I don’t know the translation of „es verklebt die Stimmbänder kurzfristig“ and I don’t think google translator will make it understandable.
      So, hopefully I could help you somehow, Greetings, Juana

    I feel like your talking voice is my mixed voice, I hear a lot of head voice in it... I am a mezzo soprano and my low notes are really developed, so when I want to go to my chest voice I feel like I take this very low and powerful voice (which I sometimes use while talking). Is it something else than what you mean by "chest voice" ?

    Hi Freya. In trying to belt, I don't know if I'm doing it wrong. But I hold my breath and sing like I'm yelling. Obviously something is up with that, but is it that it's gonna sound better over time or something?

    • @KG9551
      @KG9551 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Finding The Truth I know this comment is old, but if you’re still having issues, you should probably focus on developing your chest voice before you continue trying to belt. Not sure what you mean by “hold my breath”, but your breath should always be moving and you should always be supported. If you find you are yelling, it’s most likely because you aren’t supporting your voice enough to belt properly and/or you need a bit more training on chest/head voice first.
      I hope this helps.

    • @mamaluvsherbabes
      @mamaluvsherbabes 6 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      Hi, Ida...I don't think she meant any offense. As a girl myself I found no offense. She was merely describing how not to sound when attempting to improve one's head voice. "Girly' was the best adjective by which to get her point across, that's all. Sometimes, we use specific terms to help the listener understand because they really are the best avenue by which to inspire understanding. Our job, as the student/listener, is to decipher between bias and the educational "tool", so to speak, and realize no offense should be taken. Take care, Ida... :)

    • @redmine5568

      Splatted By JindO its probably not put of pitch just in a different key, you should try using an earring training app

    • @santrupthkumar5191
      @santrupthkumar5191 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Splatted By JindO Hi. There are 2 ways ways of singing out of pitch.
      1. You are singing the whole song in a different pitch (or key) and the original is usually on a higher key. If that's happening, it's fine with practice you will tend to improve your range and move to singing at higher pitches.
      2. If you are singing 'out of pitch' for every word or phrase you sing, you should practice ear training. Your voice should be heard with all your concentration. Start singing to plain chords and see if you are sound with them. Cheers!
