Why I’m I seeing several fuel spots on the back of 2017 cascadia also on trailer front? Could the fuel vents pushing out fuel when driving? It’s been happening for a while now.
I’m having issue with right fuel tank running way down and left tank half full. When I opened cap to left there was a fair bit of back pressure. Does this indicate plugged vent?
I’m having issues with my passenger side getting over-full, while it’s all drawing from the driver’s side. I took the fuel caps off and idled awhile, and it’s still doing it, so I believe that rules out a plugged vent. What’s the old school tube between tanks you mention?
@@DKUSTOMSGARAGE thanks for the quick reply. I’m thinking the pickup is clogged, but idk where to begin. Trying not to dump a ton of money chasing the issue down.
This is a Freightliner issues, I know everyone who had/have a Freightliner that they have that issues and almost every one inslaled a lower tube between tanks. Only 1 sideFx is it so easy to mess it up and you’ll loose all the fuel if you catch a garbage between tires.
@@DKUSTOMSGARAGE yeah, it would suck to lose 2 tanks of fuel on the interstate. But it’s getting old having to refill the driver’s side every 5-600 miles or so.
I have problem my cascadia 2015 fuel tank passenger side gets over fuel driver side is empty The fuel becomes over field passenger side. Best advice thanks So far I didn’t change any parts Thanks

Shouldn’t be.

Maybe, change them first

Some times your pick up tube to motor could be clogged or the worse scenario is the return splitter is bad!!!

Change those breathers from both sides with those shirt rubber tubes #1

What was the change out, what did it help
It took more fuel from left tank then right. By changing it , it didn’t work.
Ok 👍,
I wish I could figure out why my fuel gage don’t work proper, had the lever in fuel tank replace and still don’t work right
Check for tubes from and to the tank….

Best advice thanks

Thanks
Change those breathers first.
Then maybe dirt got into sucking tubes.
In my situation, overflowed fuel from motor that is the return line, didn’t evenly going to the tanks back. Had to change that splitter system.
When I check last week mecanic he cleaned fuel lines but nothing else and problem comes back today.
Did you change those breathers?
What year is your truck
2018
Did it solve the problem
No. I did a lot of things after it.
Before I Jack Knife it, the only think that I didn’t check is the pick up tubes/lines from tanks to splitter where it joins together.
Needs to stop overfilling and all you need to do clean tube
Nothing wrong with it
Why are you changing???
Diesel should be leveled between tanks, when it stat to have a different levels, those vents clogged then. One of possibilities....
Thanks dude. You saved me $$. I did myself. $20. Parts. Thanks again
What kind of issues you had?
@@DKUSTOMSGARAGE tank was. not equal. Passenger tank was full all the time. Changed breathers and gasket.
Oh ok.
