Jon - curious if you know if Toyota actually has been making improvements in their vehicles, and not just new parts, but real improvements in areas like that wind noise you mentioned and also the rattling center console, etc. Just thinking back to your videos about your LC First Edition, like will there be improvements in the newest builds??
Limited TRD 4x4, color matched everything, TRD factory lift, Add 35’s. Boom done. OR Ford Raptor then you get another whole user group. Come take a look at my 24 over in inlet beach.
I have had the 2024 Tundra TRD PRO since August last year. Awesome , no issues with the truck. The original tires are coping very well with the Candian winter. Close to 12, 000 KM. Average consumption is way better then previous Gen 2 which I had also owned .
I am still rocking my 22 TRD Pro. I have no major issues with it. The turn radius is bad, the cup holders are not as nice as you think, you will need an insert to keep your cups from tipping over. It's a great truck. I do like the black headliner better on the newer trucks.
mud bath is nice. Seminole Toyota near Orlando told me 97k out the door for theirs (15k markup after tax tag title dealer addons). told them to kick rocks and I decided to keep my 2021 lunar rock trd pro.
I have this exact model and colour! I love it. Console doesn’t shake, Weather strip is good. 😊 I just don’t care about rock sliders underneath. Much rather have running boards!
I just traded my 2022 RAV4 XLE, for a 2025 Camry XSE, and I will never regret it. My truck will be paid off tomorrow. I'm making the last payment, yay!
@SasukeUchiha-zu6dw I would consider staying with Honda honestly any maybe getting a CRV. Unless you want to get a hybrid, which will have a little bit more power because my RAV4 was gutless, and the seats were uncomfortable, and the interior was kind of cheap. Some of the higher trim levels may not have these issues, though. I highly advise going Hybrid.
@chrismarbrey9678 That's awesome, Chris! Congratulations 👏! I have a 25 Camry XSE as well, and I love it. For what I do (driving to work and home), it's perfect. Comfortable, smooth, got a good amount of power, and insanely efficient. I don't have hardly any complaints.
@@chrismarbrey9678 yeah was leaning towards the hybrid. I thought of the new redesign crv hybrid too but would have to wait another year or so for the cost to come down.
My 2024 has zero wind noise and zero rattles. I did have to wait 3 weeks extra for delivery because of updated door seals. Probably all set with this 2025 version, TRD Pro or not. The Hybrid in my son's Limited mostly only adds power and it can be made to go on the electric only if you really play with the throttle. No really noticeable MPG gains he gets the same as do, about 17+ in town and 21-22 highway...19-20 if you like doing 80.
I’m 6’3 and currently sitting in my 20 TRD pro on a 14 Hour road trip and you’re absolutely crazy if you don’t think this is a comfortable good road trip vehicle. 85MPH 14 mpg and that’s with a supercharger.
TRD Pro’s usually have a great resale, any truck or SUV. As for the Tundra TRD Pro the only downside is it doesn’t qualify for the 1.9-2.9% APR TMC financing. Plus dealers are less likely to knock off anything from the SRP. Personally I’m thinking about the Limited or 1794 with TRD Off-road and TRD Lift. I would also like the TRD Performance. Of course that floats me close to the TRD Pro sticker.
Ok, Jon, your channel you should do what you think is best from a business point of view. If that’s a Tundra then of course get one. Now, I was also thinking because you mentioned RAM, I personally would be more interested in the RAM Charger (the Range Extender) version of the RAM hybrid truck than an RHO.
You guys really need to see the turning radius on my GMC 3500 crew cab 8-foot bed truck. You would appreciate so much better the turning radius of your tiny cute Tundras. 😃
Do it! Only reason I didn't get the Pro was because it didn't have the leg extender (I have long thighs) and wasn't only able to find it on the Platinum.
Didn't have enough time to work out issues??? They made the same truck from 07-21 that is a hell of a lot of time to do r&d and make the 3rd gens bulletproof! They obviously didn't care to do that. They slapped them together good enough to be sold. The 2025s have been out, there. Should be zero trouble with these trucks.
I really miss the days when the focus on this channel was on classic vehicles like the 4Runner and the cool stuff available to customize it. It seems like the channel is now primarily centered on buying and selling new Toyotas, and I’m concerned it’s heading in the same direction as Untamed Motors.😢 Side note… I don’t know how your wife would be ok with all the vehicles you have been buying and selling. My wife would kill me if I bought and sold a vehicle then bought sold the SAME vehicle, then mentioned about buying it AGAIN? She would kill me 😂
I’d say wait, until they add something different with the tundra, because from 2022 to 2025 the only thing different is the truck bed can go up like a Tacoma, and massaging seats. Hopefully 2026 tundra will fix the remote start and maybe newer amenities 🤷♂️
I dunno, man... my 2023 TRD Pro has 15k miles and is only worth about $57k on trade, and $64 on private sell. Bought it for $75. almost lost $20k in value in less than 2 years. I have 37's on mine and get about 13-15 MPG. Did all my work through Westcott, too. I was really hoping the truck would hold its value better.
Jon I hope you get a new truck Ill glady watch your videos .I like the pro . Sorry Jon you got the money for it. I like the raptors. I work for the government and fords are always going down. I hope they fix the issues on the toyota tundra
