For all the Aussies including myself, the Commodore should automatically be the answer! And for everyone else, go and learn about and understand the commodore and you’ll choose it too!
@@reginalwilcox90 wait till you guys have HSVs Commodores are mad, but HSV is another level, put some cams in them and they litterally shake as they idle, so badass
I'm going with the Commodore. They are both good looking cars, but I have a feeling the Holden will appreciate within 10 years, especially if its a Ute!
Well, since Holden no longer makes cars themselves, yes yes it will. Because they're not sold globally. There are some exports but they go under different names and badges so.
@@SCREAMILLUSION that's why I'm thinking it'll appreciate. Similar to the CTS-V wagon, because wagons aren't really made anymore, so people are trying to pick up these.
@@19card89 It's more the sought after ones that will. I'm talking HDT, Group A (or any old Group build), HSV (expecially the GTS), SS variants, limited builds (VS GTS-R, VT II GTS) and the Coupes. @@ShiningJudgment666 i don't know much about the commodore variants but i'd honestly get both an ss and a ss ute all the aussies reading comments IM SORRY that i'm uneducated but i would like to learn
As a owner of the scirocco, i will have to for a scirocco all the way, it just sits on the road amazing literlly at higher speeds going around a corner. Amazing
Inquired about importing a Scirocco R to Canada; however it was turning out to be an unbelievable hassle and would've taken multiple shipments originating from Europe....just bought a MK7 instead, third dub and certainly not the last...never had a CEL, go figure!
I was torn between the Scirocco R and the Focus ST when I was looking for my last car, the Scirocco basically is a Golf 5 (which was my previous car) underneath and especially inside so I went for the Focus. Love the look of the scirocco and it's a lot of fun to drive.
Hey so that's actually my Holden VE Wagon in the thumbnail! and i actually just totalled it this past weekend hahaha BUT! We have a new shell already AND WE ARE REBUILDING IT hahaha
As an Aussie who has driven and owned multiple Commodores and HSV etc, I would take the VW for sure, Drove one of those around the Ring in 2017 and it was an amazing car. Much better than just a large boring family sedan with a V8 chucked in it.
Sciroccco R with expensive Forged one piece wheels, Michelin Pilot Sports and Eibach racing coilovers from fitmentindustries.com would be so badass! And more badass from F.I., so you can't beat that honestly...
I've owned both. They are very different cars. Very hard to choose. I had a VE Calais and I currently have a 2012 2.ltr Scirocco. I would go with the Calais just because of space, but Scirocco for performance.
i've owned a 2016 commodore SS and currently own a Scirocco R, even though my commodore had more power, had a satisfying note and manual gearbox; the Scirocco is more fun to drive haha
They aren’t a company we currently offer wheels for so can’t say we’ve had the opportunity to see their wheels in person but they look like a decent function wheel
Pay top dollar for a prime example of iconic JDM cars like the Mark 4 Toyota Supra or the Nissan GTR of that era or pay considerably less for a prime example of other JDM cars with the same powertrain like the Toyota Aristo or NISSAN CEFIRO of the same era?

I would choose the scirocco. I'm in the US lol
I just got some wheels from you guys and they are awesome. Thanks
Hell yeah glad you like em 🤟🏼🙏🏼
i love aussie cars
I'll take the Commodore, almost bought one the last time I was there!!!
I would do the Commodore. Looks mean,
I’d go with a commodore, who wouldn’t wanna drive a cammed V8 sedan chopping away next to the Prius at a stoplight
I was getting ready to quit the video if neither of them took the Commodore. What with me owning a cammed 2014 Commodore 🤣
The Prius driver wouldn't 😂
Scirocoooooo ! The handling is soooooo amazing , especially go corners ...
If a Scirocco R comes to the states, I’m selling every asset I own so I can purchase one and live happily for the rest of my live
Glad someone else appreciates them as much as me. It’s unlike any other car in the US and I absolutely fucking love it
Yeah!
Fun Fact: The average horse makes about 14 horsepower.
🤔😂
lmaoooooooooooooooo

Yesss
The VE is literally the most basic bitch car out there though, so anything but the VE SV6 thanks
I’m not an Aussie but damn I’m going for the commodore
I love my Commodore and I'm American

I'm also going with the commodore, and its NOT because Holden is no longer a brand and the cars will appreciate no matter what

Had both of them, and can tell you the Scirocco R is a beast of a car. VW all day long.
Anthony M you must of had a v6 commodore lol
YGzSharky nothing wrong with an SS, Holden made some amazing cars. VW just does it for me a little more...
My uncle owns a final production year commodore and it is honestly so fun to drive especially with the stock ls3 it has
I own a Scirocco! So much fun to drive!

Who tf would have a sedan over the most exclusive hothatch ever made in the Wolfsburg factory, the angry looking Scirocco R for Days!

As much as I love the golf the holden is even better
Honestly....feel the same way I’m a gti/st hatch boi also
BETTER FUEL ECONOMY

You ever driven a commodore? Handles like a boat. Please change your mind
You must like driving boats 😂😅😅
Scirocco R all day. Something about them just does it for me
Prob the dsg and the aggressive look
@Michael Garside straight up aye,

Agree with you man, love mine. Bagged and new bigger turbo coming this week. Insta @vnolag
Wide horse all day long! Then I'd put a bumper sticker on it saying #buffhorses
I was thinking the exact same thing lol
Lol all I could think was check out this buff horse!
Holden Commodore/Chevy SS. practical and fun at the same time :)
They are thats why I got one.....If you can find one get it
100% Scirocco, ik the holden is amazing, but the Scirocco really hits my spot.
I can hit your spot 😉
HAHA MY CAR AT 2:50 !!
We need some merch of ur car

Buick regal is the American version of the commadore. My brother drives a commadore and my coworker drives a regal. They both love them
I’m aussie, Don’t even need to watch the video. VE commodore all day.
You guys put a VE Commodore (2007 - 2011) in the thumbnail the VF Commodore is (2013-2017)
Happy to Sean here...
FI Noti Gang 🖤 My Scirocco R is the best car I’ve ever owned. It turns so many heads, it’s so nice to drive and mods so easy
Proud to have made the Commodore here in Australia, you should check out the HSV GTSR W1, the pinnacle of Commodores!!!
I'm not really a fan of hatchbacks but that scirocco..MMM
Hey so that's actually my Holden VE Wagon in the thumbnail! and i actually just totalled it this past weekend hahaha BUT! We have a new shell already AND WE ARE REBUILDING IT hahaha
I own a turbo SS Commodore with 700hp and I fucken love it 😍
Same. Lsa 640whp g8. Amazing how much nicer it is than generic gm garbage. No sacrifices either. Doesn't even handle like a fat car.
Aussie and NZ bois see the title and get the popcorn ready.
My dad has a 2011 Holden SS-V redline ute in hazard yellow and it's pretty sweet

Could have chosen something other than boring stock footage for the commodore, there are some crazily modified ones over here in Australia
Holden Commodore. No question.
I own an 06 GTO... It's got that Aussie blood.
Commodore all the way. I have a 2015 chevy ss. Love ittt
Stretched tires on stock suspension or stock tires on bags ?
Holdens 2017 HSV R8 Maloo is just 👌
You guys are a great bunch of people.
Gels's hair is lookin fire
That horse question got my dying over here
4:40 the Scirocco doesn't have the golf r drivetrain. It's fwd
Best episode yet 🤣 Commo life!
Scirocco hands down
What's the grey/silver wheel next to Gel's face called??
Have owned 9 Holden's since 2014
Kota spoke facts about the horse 😂🔥
Someone who knows more about euro cars, when did the Scirocco R get a Golf R drivetrain? Didn't it have the Golf GTI drivetrain for a long time?
It doesn't have the Golf R drivetrain, it still has the GTI FWD. Golf R engine however.
It depends on which country you live in,
@@lukekilah6257 no it doesn't. The scirocco r is fwd only

@@lukekilah6257 No it's false. Scirocco is only FWD. Hell I would know lol, I own one

Scirocco R any day and I'm from Australia
Built Bagged minivan or stock mk4 supra with a lift kit?
i've owned a 2016 commodore SS and currently own a Scirocco R, even though my commodore had more power, had a satisfying note and manual gearbox; the Scirocco is more fun to drive haha
The Commodores are great to drive, I own a V6 varent Commodore (SV6) though which has some go but has nothing on the big LS
I have the Scirocco and its an awesome car not one day that I would pick another car
WHERE is the video of that pt cruiser crashing??
I would choose the commodore but we got something similar with the Chevy SS so I’d take the scirocco r
Holden Commodore with anime livery. I would own it and be proud of taking my G-ma wherever she wants to go.
Stance carriage or stance horse
Wide body horse with fender flares
Yes
I already have a commodore technically so I’m biased. G8’s are awesome
Proud owner of a '14 Chevy SS in the states aka Holden Commodore, so yes it's obvious I'd go with a Scirocco R.. LOL JK, Holden all day brutha! :D
Scirocco all day
definitely holden
What would you choose?
A Mini
Holden mainly cause i want an over the radiator intake
im aussie but i would go with the vw pretty much every 2nd car is a commodore here
VF series I had pretty poor performance for a modern V8. Holden made a great decision putting the LS3 in the VFII.
Corvette zr1 or viper acr ?
Honestly this made my day. Thank you for the laugh.
Ayyyeee my question got answered 🎉🎉🎉
Holden because why not and it’s the one great car from Australia
Own/mod a taurus sho or charger rt
@fitment CAN YOU DO A GEN 1 CRUZE VS A GEN2 CRUZE
Holden .... is this really a discussion!!!!
Is wide horses equivalent to buff horses??
Imma say yes..... I think so...😂
Commodore any time of the week mate
Sean 3:16 "For Euro God so loved..."
Vw golf r variant or Nissan stagea
I live in Australia and commodores are everywhere so id take the scirocco.
This probably one of the funniest this or that. I would choose the scirocco, my first car was an 87 scirocco 16v dohc.
To Fitment Industry have you guys ever heard of neuspeed wheels and are worth buying looking at the RSE 10?
They aren’t a company we currently offer wheels for so can’t say we’ve had the opportunity to see their wheels in person but they look like a decent function wheel
Okkaaaayttt but how do I get the scirocco r here in the states ?!
I reckon the older vk to vs models are way more fun and modable than later models the states got
Pontiac G8 / Chevy SS / Chevy Caprice PPV - Holden Commodore / Caprice
Holden all day
Holden commodore all day
isnt the pontiac gto just a holden with different badges?
Turbocharged or twincharged
What was the better extra question the “lil burger big bun, or big burger lil bun” or the “wide body horsedrawn carriage or wide body horse”
So you want an ls430????
