Is Andy Sparnon the killer ? He's convincing !
Let me just say that as a brother (younger or older), if a stranger invites your sister into their home in this situation, you need to go in there with her to make sure nothing happens to her.
Completely agree!
🥰👍💯
Indeed, what this guy did is just exercise his beta-mentality. How do you let your own sister enter a stranger's house in middle of nowhere?!
Yea.... boy showed utterly carelessness.
And on the other hand girl should come out straight rather than nossy around 🥺
Well he wasn’t even able to defend himself ultimately, so not sure it would of made much of a difference in this case 🤷🏻♀️
The scariest thing about this film is the truth behind it. There are so many women and children sold and trafficked all over the world and this film makes us aware of just how real it is. Very well done!!
It's a very relevant, scary and unfortunate truth. Thank you for watching our film!
The guy was so stupid..he should have ran instead of picking fight with that pshyco guy..if he would have left the place he could have saved everyone including his sis..but he didn't think before picking fight n was killed by pshyco man..
@@Sanjaysanjay-ul5ym that was a flight or fight response and his instinct was to fight (He's quite a big guy so I don't think that's hard to grasp). His worst desicion was earlier in the movie
@@colkurtz4102 she's referring to sex trafficking not abduction
Most human trafficking involves labor under duress. Especially the sweat shops in the fashion clothing industry. Sex slave trafficking isn't as common, but it's what everyone makes their film about. Even one of my own scripts has it as a story element. Though mostly I write science fiction which would take bigger budgets than most indie filmmakers have.
I would NEVER just let my sister go into the stranger's house alone
Horror movie 101 haha
Me neither. And I wouldn't have walked far away from the house either. Nor would I (if I was Lucy) walk down the basement.
@@writer46m72 I wouldn't kill John Wick's dog, but if that guy didn't there wouldn't be a movie 😅 I get what you guys are saying, it's not a great character move. The idea was to have Ben as kind of a crappy, irresponsible big brother. He has a small arc where he tries to redeem himself, but the film is a little too short to drive the point home. Sorry if it took away from the movie, thanks for watching regardless!
That was my 1st thought.
I know right? Especially if that stranger looks like a porn actor
Just don't trespass...keep away from strange places, where there is no reception...just run....never forget curiosity can kill you...
Worth watching...
Good advice, thanks for watching!
What a cowardly advice
@@bethjohnson8353 it's better to run rather than to stay and die...
Curiosity killed the cat but satisfaction brought it back… that’s the full saying

I remember a foreigner once said how lucky I was to live in South Australia as I could go camping without fear of predators. I reminded him that the biggest thing to fear was my fellow man.

The chapters in the Introduction section give context to the rest of the theme study. This is the context for the contexts, as it were. This section gives background on the LGBTQ Heritage Initiative and provides a broad social history of LGBTQ in America. The ideas in this introductory section will resonate throughout the rest of the theme study. W WHY LGBTQ HISTORIC SITES MATTER Mark Meinke
Start here. We exist. We, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer people (LGBTQ), all the subdivisions of the sexual and gender minority community, exist in America. The places we remember and hold dear, those places that have become part of our identity, also exist. Still. Many of them.
In the 1960s no lesbian, gay man, bisexual, transgender person, or queer gave a thought to their sites and actions being historic. They were struggling for their basic rights, explicitly denied them by their government and the larger society around them. As Dr. Franklin E. Kameny, often called the father of LGBTQ civil rights, asserted with some asperity in his 1960 petition for a writ of certiorari to the Supreme Court “Probably [homosexuals] most dominant characteristic is their utter heterogeneity. Despite [the] common popular stereotype of a homosexual which would have him discernible at once by appearance, mannerisms and other
Mark Meinke characteristics, these people run the gamut of physical type, of intellectual ability and inclination and of emotional make-up (Figure 1). In making his case for tolerance and an end to restrictions on homosexuals’ rights, Kameny was in this instance most focused on discrimination in employment, though in addressing his own particular case, he noted that those rights were the equal of every American’s rights and should not be legally, logically, constitutionally, or on any other basis diminished (Figure 2). The depth of Kameny’s asperity was plumbed in his outraged summary of the government’s case for oppressing homosexuals’ employment in a resonant indictment of federal oppression:
Respondents’ [US Civil Service Commission, Army Mapping Service, the US Army] case is rotten to the core. Respondents’ case had been shown to fail factually and to be defective procedurally; the regulations upon which they base their case have been shown to be legally faulty, invalid, and unconstitutional; their policies have been shown to be improperly discriminatory, Franklin Edward Kameny v. Wilber M. Brucker, Secretary of the Army et al., Petition for a Writ of Certiorari, no. 676, US Supreme Court, 1960, 36. Kameny’s writ was intended to win him a Supreme Court review of his appeal against dismissal from the Army Mapping Service on grounds of homosexuality in 1957. It did not. However, in articulating his arguments against US government repression of homosexuals and its ban on employment of homosexuals, Kameny set forth clearly many of the arguments and goals that would characterize his activism over the next fifty-one years. The Dr. Franklin E. Kameny Residence is located in the northwestern quadrant of Washington, DC. It was listed on the NRHP on November 2, 2011. Figure 1: Dr. Franklin E. Kameny’s 1960 petition for a writ of certiorari to overturn his exclusion from federal employment on the basis of homosexuality. Publication of the United States Supreme Court, 1960.

Hi! I'm from Indonesia. It's a very good short film containing dark truth about human trafficking. Points to learn from it; they shouldn't have left the main road to get reception or get help. However things are different had they got lost in asian countries like Indonesia. They could just leave the main road, look for the nearest village and ask for help to any villagers they met. It would be completely a safe practice. The only challenge is the communication though I'm sure gestures and body language would solve the problem.
Big thank you from the cast and crew! Glad you enjoyed the film and took a few things from it :)
This is just a movie, not all western strangers are dangerous. And human trafficking is often in asian countries too.

That's a dose of reality for you folks. I love how a knight didn't ride in on his horse to save them and grant many the mushy feel good ending they often see because in reality it rarely happens in such cases.
Completely agree. I don't think an ending like that would have been suited for a film like this 😥

Once again we see two people violate the top two commandments of an emergency situation.
1) Always armed (firearm(s), edged weapon or bludgeoning type, chemical agent, high explosives....ect) Always carry a primary weapon and then a backup or secondary.
2) No one goes anywhere alone. Your teammate is always within eyesight AND earshot.
3) Whenever approaching an unfamiliar structure or area (especially one that might become hostile) always conduct reconnaissance and a perimeter sweep.

Excellent advice. As an ex-cop and former corrections officer I've always read every situation, every room really, that I enter. I'm always armed and I train pain compliance moves regularly. Well that creeped me out !! ... good job - very suspenseful !
Thanks so much for watching Tammy!
That was very hard to watch, but awareness of what happens in the world.
Excellent. I wish that American filmmakers could grasp the concept of suggestion and showing just enough, with reference to the murder of the young man. The captive female victims seemed almost complacent and resigned to their situation, which adds to the perversity of the story.
This was such a nice comment to read Paul, thank you so much for watching and supporting us!
I liked the shot of the brother’s shoes hitting the ground on the other side of the gate. I knew it was game on.
Thank you, glad you liked that one!
"I don't know, just let me check the log book"
Underrated line in my opinion haha! Thank you for watching!
Okay, so this has potential. Perhaps I would have opened with Ben and Lucy driving, chatting, the car's temp gauge flagging, and standard cliche shot of radiator steaming, then pulling over.
Now this of course adds absolutely nothing to the story, other than to pad the running time out, and perhaps develop more anxious dialogue between our two protagonists,
as we haven't been given enough time to bond with them, and wish them no harm, even though we know things aren't going to end well for this pair.
Obviously the Wolf Creek comparisons are inevitable: travelers, wrong place at wrong time inadvertently walk into the lair of a sociopath [I like that term, it hasn't got old yet!].
Not all horror films have happy endings either; Wolf Creek certainly didn't, Pet Semetary [1989] was horendous, and this one gives us no sense of closure either.
So if everybody is happy to have that stigma linger and come to terms with it, then good. Best of luck sourcing the finance for the project, as I'm sure it is a very stressful process.
And do we want to know if that kangaroo/wallaby carcass was real? The flies thought so anyhoo, cheers!
Thanks so much for watching. We actually plan on developing this concept into feature length film one day, and some of your ideas definitely have merit. We want more sibling banter - but it's not for filler; moreso that they're well rounded characters and not just meat for the murder machine. And then of course lots more suspense and action. But we need money to pull it off so please keep following, sharing and supporting us in any way you can, every little bit helps!
@@DuckpondProductions Cheers! Keep up the good work Duckponders!

Moral of the story: curiosity kills a cat
But satisfaction brought them back 😉
Awesome PLOT Should’ve been a full length movie…… Bravo 🎉
Thank you so much! We’re working on a full length 🤗
Amazing short! I didn’t want this to end!
I like that the “bad guy” was handsome, he didn’t (at first) give off the stereotypical toothless creeper vibe...Well done!!
Thank you so much! We intend to develop this into a feature film, so be sure to subscribe if you wanna see how that goes :) really glad you liked our bad guy, we've got some big things planned for him!
Wow that shovel in the throat was brutal, great film

haha.it hurt?
New subscriber...would like to see more of this type of films...good opening...makes the viewer want to see what happens next... doesn't drag....like it!
Thank you so much! We owe that opening shot to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, it's an Aussie homage to them, but I'm really glad it resonated! Can't wait to show you more, new film coming soon!
Girl is stunningly beautiful in a very innocent way.
Thank you, that's exactly what we were going for 😅
Im not comfortable with the way you worded this 😂
She gave a great performance and was perfect in this role.
I really like the house! When she came out of the bathroom, which is simple but effective, the hall was awesome with the curtains, really nice and old fashioned, I could easily live there, and what about the view from up there, and the huge balcony
Thank you, we really lucked out with the locations, some nice people out there! It's actually filmed in a couple of houses 🤫
Amazing Work! Onwards and Upwards from here.
Thanks a lot man, fingers crossed!
Terrific movie. Well done.
Thanks so much!
Although I already know the ending it has potential to be a great one.
Thank you :)
