Northern lights (beautiful ones) are challenging to do with acrylic paint. I see so many creators try but they dry brush and you can see the teeth of the canvas. But you have mastered this. Ensuring paint is wet enough to blur it, was beautifully done. Much ❤
Beautiful! Do you let the background dry a bit before adding the white and brushing up? All the paint brushes up for me and I don't get the nice white streaks like yours
Thanks 👍 I work fast when painting northern lights because acrylics dry very fast. With this one it has to be wet when applying the white lines, then I use a dry brush to lift the colours up :)
I am a novice painter and my question is how long does the top colors need to dry to put the white and blend it up? When i did, it all blurred so im wondering if the base was too wet?
Absolutely incredible. I’ve been searching out a northern lights painting with acrylic paint and yours is the only one I could find!!! How do you prep your canvas? How do you get such smooth brush strokes? Thank you❤
Don't let the title fool you. This painting is not for beginners. If you dont have an experience with acrylics then you'll end up with a total mess. I tried it with my friends.
I loved it! I tried it but it didn’t quite work with the Aurora. It mixed up with the other colors and I couldn’t see it in the end, do you have any advice on how to do it correctly? Thanks ❤
That's great 👍 I use a wet damp brush for blending, then a dry brush for upward strokes when painting this & keep wiping excess paint off the dry brush between strokes, that way the colours won't smudge, hope it helps 👍
Hello, first of all I congratulate you for the magnificent work, I have been trying for a while to paint aureoles boreales but in the passage of passing a brush on the line drawn I always have problems, it does not look as good as yours so I wanted to ask you, is the brush that you pass to make the aureoles boreales wet or dry?
Yes brush should be dry but make sure the paints you used are wet enough to get the blended effect ... otherwise it will not blend properly ..if it still doesn't work try using oil paints
Practice makes perfect. One tip is to practice on cardboard or canvas paper until you get it right......then you'll be ready for canvas. 🙂 And remember it's better to use too little paint than too much. One mistake I would make when I first started painting was loading the paint on the canvas. A few ruined pictures but I never gave up 🖌 🎨 🖼
Although I love your work, there is one thing I want to say, and it is just a tip, so don't turn this comment into hateful one. Don't use black directly in your paintings. You should mix a dark color along with black to make it look realistic, although it doesn't need it now.😂😂❤❤❤❤❤ Love your artworks❤❤❤

Absolutely incredible. I’ve been searching out a northern lights painting with acrylic paint and yours is the only one I could find!!! How do you prep your canvas? How do you get such smooth brush strokes? Thank you❤
Thank you! I use pre primed canvases & I used a damp brush to paint with then a dry brush to lift the colours up :)
And if you dont have pre -primed canvas you can apply Gesso on thre canvas to smoothen it
Very very helpful and beautiful
Thanks a lot 😊

Thanks and welcome!
what paint brand do you use?
What is the brand of paints you used
Docrafts artiste & artstudio premium
❤😊
which brush is that to stretch white light
Flat brush
Beautifully done ❤
Thank you! 😊
It’s not working
Just try another type of paint and/or paintbrush and practice
Neither was mine. I realised its very important to have the softest brush and you have to do it quickly. Also use more paint.

Aurora borealis? At this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country, localized entirely within your kitchen? /ref
А первый слой не должен еще высохнуть перед тем , как вы белые полосы стали рисовать ?
Thank you soooo much
Why does the conifer green look light blue?
😢I ruined a canvas because of this tutorial.
I love it🩵💙

The auras doesn't work
That's bot step by step not for beginners and definitely not working . Disliked the video. thanks
